"Ugh, everybody's late!" I didn't even want to come, and now everybody else is late, are you serious? Well, everybody except Kid, Liz and Patty, who showed up at 6:00, since 6:30 wasn't symmetrical.

"So, have you guys just been sitting here for half an hour?" I thought Kid was getting better with this type of stuff. Guess sometimes he has a major freakout. "Well, not really. We walked around a little and window-shopped. But then everyone started crowding around and asking for autographs so we left the big crowds and came to wait."

"Really? That must've been cool, feeling like a celebrity." says Soul. I guess it would've been kinda cool." Not really. By then, it was about 6:20. But, the boat is going to leave soon, so the others better hurry." It was true. The boat was starting up its engine. We should be boarding by now. Gosh, those idiots. Then, something comes and from behind and smacks Soul and sends him flying into a nearby shop's dumpster. "Soul!" I screamed. I ran over to him, more embarrassed than worried, for some reason. Besides, I knew it was Black Star.

"Black Star, you ass!" he's so predictable. I knew he'd do something like that, but still you have to yell at him or else its not really normal. I don't know how to explain it. It's just...Black Star!

"Hahahahahahahaha! Nobody can ignore me now with such a big star entrance!" he yells at the top of his lungs.

"Your right, Black Star, but let's be a little quieter next time, okay?"

"Whatever, Tsubaki!"

"Well now that we're all here, should we board now? Before the boat leaves-"

When we all turned around, the boat had...already left.

Great. "Well now what are we gonna do?" Black Star groans.

"Well, since we all came all this way, it's still only 6:35, so, why don't we go downtown and have a nice evening out, just not on a boat?" I suggested. If they dragged me out here to do something fun, then we're doing something fun!

After we all made our way downtown, we stopped and had coffee at Uncle Joe's (the Chupacabra FINALLY closed down, thank God.) The boys went off to play darts at the back of the shop, while the girls sat and talked (like, I hate to admit, but we do all the time).

"So, Maka, what's up with you and Soul?" Liz sneaks into the conversation. "Didn't you two go on a little outing together the other day?"

Aw, damn. What's with them? "We just went to visit Chrona at Mrs. Marie's new place with Stein. Just because it's in Oceana doesn't mean that it was a secret date. We would've invited you guys too if you," I pointed to Tsubaki, "Weren't out with Kilik, and you two," I pointed to Liz," Weren't spending the day in DWMA for a workshop with Ox and Harvar." I wasn't really sure what Patty was doing, so when I pointed to her, I kind of just paused then everybody started laughing 'cuz I didn't have anything to say about her. I eventually started laughing as well.

"So, how is Chrona doing? It must be much more relaxing for him now that Marie and Stein adopted him as their son. " Tsubaki said sweetly.

"And it must be really peaceful living in a place like that. I know I'd like it." said Patty cheerfully.

"Actually, I brought some pictures to show you all." I pulled out an envelope of photos I took with me, Soul, and Chrona. "Some have Stein and Marie in them. They also gave me a wedding photo of theirs. It's so adorable."

"Is that Chrona holding a bird?" Kid asks. Eventually the boys came back to see the pics. We laughed and poked fun at Stein in a tux and Chrona attempting to dance with Marie. "He's doing so much better." I say wistfully. The next picture was me and Chrona holding hands on the little strip of beach by their house, smiling and watching the pelicans fly over us. In the backround, Soul was throwing little bread pieces to the gulls. We all laughed at Soul in the next photo, running from a large iguana. "Come on, it was pretty creepy!" He said. "Yeh, sure Soul" I giggled.

But the next photo, kinda made me tear up with happy tears. It was the one Soul took before we left to come back to North America. It was Chrona giving me a big hug, his thin arms stretched around me, sort of crying, but also happy to have seen me. I felt the same way. I was smiling, with my hand resting on his shoulder, the other giving a peace sign to the camera. Soul's hand was in the picture, giving the devil's horns.

I wipe my eyes with my sleeve. "Maka, what's wrong? Are you not having fun?" Patty asks me. "Oh no! That's not it. I'm just, uh, kind of tired now, so I think I'll start heading home, now. See you all tomorrow for lunch. It's at Kid's house, right?"

"Yes, well, bye Maka." Says Kid. "Will you be okay going home alone? Do you want Liz to walk with you?"

"Yeah, it's no trouble, Maka." says Liz.

"Oh, no, I'll be okay. But thank you, you two. I had fun tonight, guys." "Is it really okay for me to stay, Maka?"

"Yeah, sure. go ahead. I want you to have fun, too." "All right, well, be safe going back." "All right, I will."

As I walked out, I whispered to myself, 'I miss you so much, Chrona.' What's wrong with me? Why can't I get hi out of my head? Why?
