"I don't have time for petty goodbyes, Kurosaki."
"Petty goodbyes, huh?" Karin scoffs. "I guess you're right. What good is a human friend when her life is but a fraction of yours?"
Damn it! That's not what he meant.
"I shouldn't have even bothered."
As she turns around to leave, Tōshirō acts on instinct and grabs her.
"What are you—"
Before she has time to voice her opinions, he muffles her with a passionate kiss.
When they part, he smirks before taking a step through the senkaimon.
Why should he bother saying goodbye when he knows he'll be back?
