A/N: I don't know about you, but from what I've seen and read there's always a friend that intervenes in their friend's business. Hopefully I've justified that scene with this drabble. It's a follow-up on the first chapter, in case you were wondering.

Summary: When all else fails, deck the man in the face. Though violence doesn't solve everything, it does help get the message across.

"Why would you do something so stupid?"

"What?" Tōshirō sneers. "Is having an affair with a married woman the only turn on for you?"

Without warning, the man decks Hitsugaya in the face.

"We're childhood friends, damn it!"

"Friends? Not fro—"

Another punch. This time to the gut.

"I can't believe you're the one she's always talking about! You're nothing but an ungrateful bastard."

The man leaves before Tōshirō has the time to reply.

Maybe they were only friends. But then that would mean… He was wrong?
