Youth Eternal
by Bethuviel
Note: I wrote this poem while reading LOTR. I had already seen the movies and was curious about the authors original work. When I had completed reading the novels, I felt as though I had lost my best friend, there was no more of that world or beings, that the journey I had been taken on was complete. Now I revisit the books and movies often, as well as plenty of fanfic.
I wrote this in dedication to those novels, the world it contains, and it's characters.
Disclaimer: I do not own the middle earth, it's characters or plot, J.R.R. Tolkien does. I do however own this poem. Hope you enjoy it, and all reviews are appreciated.
Majestic talons soaring above the clouds
Redemption from on high
Silver threads forever entwined
On a sparrow's sigh
The red petal an everlasting bloom
A promise of tomorrow
Bright as the warmth of the color
Can never know the sorrow
Moisture sliding down the blade
Sparkles prisms of light
The eternal youth
Dancing in flight
