Now onto the story.

Chapter 4: The El Gigante
As the trio approached the stone built dwellings, getting closer to the castle, when they heard a loud noise. It sounded like a roar, immediately they drew their weapons and slowly advanced.
"What was that?" Kyle asked.
"It sounded like El Gigante," Dave replied.
Angela looked at Dave, uncertain.
"What's El Gigante?" She asked him, confused.
"A massive creature, I'm not sure how exactly it got to that size but the important thing to remember is it's also infected," Dave explained to them, "It obeys the guys in charge around here."
"Great."
They continued to advance, to their surprise not all the Ganados responded to the call of the bell, a few ambushed them on the way but were quickly disposed of. A search of the houses turned up more ammunition and several grenades. Finally they headed for the main square of the 'rich district' of the village, when they arrived they stopped, standing there was a man, probably one of the instigators of the outbreak. He was twenty-three, his skin bore the tired look of a Caucasian living in the Mexican heat, he had short blonde messy hair and blue eyes, they were bloodshot, indicating sleepless nights, he was five foot nine and weighed sixty-nine kilos. He was dressed rather casually in a pair of denim torn jeans, a white sweat stained tank-top, plain white socks and brown scuffed boots. He was armed with an AK and was in the company of three Ganados, one was one of the chainsaw wielder Ganados, the others with crude weapons, pitchforks. The man looked up and saw them before yelling something in Mexican Spanish and the three Ganados turned and charged to attack, not taking any chances Kyle and Angela immediately fired their handguns at the two weaker Ganados and killed them, Dave used both his shotguns and blew off the head of the chainsaw wielder, one that he said he had heard being called Dr. Salvador.
With all three of the Ganados dead, the heroes turned to face the man, they quickly held him at gunpoint, outnumbered the man sighed and spoke in English, but with a thick accent.
"You again, who are the other two?" He remarked angrily.
Dave smirked and responded.
"Allies, you're outnumbered now, Ramon Lopez." Dave announced, introducing the man, "Give up, what are you guys hoping to accomplish".
"Fool, it's not over yet, I will never give you anything." Ramon spat back, "Besides, it's too late for you to stop us".
Kyle then interrupted.
"Who gave you the Plagas sample?" He asked angrily.
Ramon smirked and answered.
"Even if I knew I wouldn't tell you," was his cocky reply.
Before they could ask anything else a loud roar sounded nearby. Ramon's smirk grew.
"El Gigante, kill them now!"
Just then there was a loud thudding sound and then another, then suddenly Angela gave out a yell that was cut short. Something large had struck her and knocked her into the side of one of the buildings, knocking her out.
"Angie!" Kyle yelled in panic.
"Kyle; heads up," Dave warned him.
Dave pulled Kyle back out of the way and finally they got a good look at El Gigante. It was huge, almost ten feet, perhaps more than that as it had a hunchback. Its skin was grey and bulky with muscle; it looked vaguely human but an ugly one. He was clad only in a pair of black torn trousers and had a large chain around his neck. El Gigante then moved to attack, using their shotguns Kyle and Dave fired at it, it growled in pain but had no other reaction. It then tried to crush them under its large fist, they had to take cover in the nearby house, it growled and slammed its fist into the wall, knocking it down and leaving them vulnerable again and forced to take cover elsewhere.
While this game of cat and mouse was going on Ramon moved over to the unconscious Angela and making up his mind quickly reached into the small bag he had with him and found the rope he usually used to fix problems in the town, to hold up objects that collapsed until they could be fixed. He then quickly tied Angela's hands behind her back, he sat her up and prepared to pick her up and take her away when he noticed that she was stirring.
'The last thing I need is for her to get those two involved, that red-haired guy will abandon the fight against El Gigante and come to save her.' He thought angrily to himself.
Seeing her beginning to wake up Ramon quickly pulled out a length of cloth and pushed it between the girl's teeth, tying it off behind her head, securely gagging her. He then picked her up and slung her over his shoulder and began to hurry towards the castle. Angela woke up and tried to struggle free, but it was useless, especially now that Ramon had also taken possession of her weapons, she tried to call out to Kyle for help but her words were muffled by the gag, she was taken away to the castle. Meanwhile Kyle and Dave were still fighting the El Gigante and were unaware of Angela's predicament. As they fired at it they finally got it with two point blank blasts to the face, it the fell over and its Plagas made itself visible on its back, Dave called out.
"We gotta destroy that," He yelled to Kyle, "It's the only way to kill it."
"Try and keep it busy, I'll get it." Kyle replied.
So while Dave continued to fire at it and try to keep it dazed Kyle climbed onto its back and pulled out his knife. He began cutting and stabbing at the Plagas until finally the Plagas writhed and, as Kyle jumped of its back the Plagas exploded and El Gigante let out a terrible roar and finally died. Catching their breath and reloading both men hurried back to the main square, when they got there however they finally realised what had happened, Kyle was enraged.
"That bastard, he kidnapped Angie," He yelled, realizing what had happened, "I'll kill him!"
Dave placed a restraining hand on Kyle's shoulder.
"Kyle, calm down and focus, you can't rescue Angela if you just go charging in there," He explained, trying to reason with him, "You'll get overwhelmed and killed, then how are you gonna save her."
"Alright, alright, fine," Kyle replied, calming down a little, "I'm fine, let's do this".
Making sure they were prepared both men began heading to the castle to rescue Angela. Unbeknownst to either of them they were being watched by a mysterious figure standing on a castle balcony, overlooking the main square of the village 'rich district'. She smirked and turned away and returned inside the castle.
