Chapter 15: A Fleeting Peace
Following the incident the BSAA were able to acquire both Las Plagas Samples, A and B and from them they were able to develop a vaccine for it, in addition to the vaccines for Umbrella's viruses. It seemed that there would be no more B.O.W. outbreaks as all reports confirmed that there were no more viral agents, however Kyle and Angela knew better. Now that they knew Wesker was still alive they knew it would only be a matter of time before there was another outbreak, for they were certain he could develop or enhance any viral agents he still had in his possession. They voiced their concerns to Michael, who agreed and immediately informed the President, therefore a worldwide manhunt was ordered with Wesker being the target, however, knowing that he couldn't have operated in secrecy and create another viral agent alone it was generally accepted that he had to have an accomplice. So the order was also given to be on the look out for anyone connected to Wesker, they hoped to catch him before it was too late.
Meanwhile Wesker was talking to his female companion who had developed the Las Plagas.
"It seems our Mexican friends have failed…miserably." He stated with no emotion, "How are the enhancements for the Plagas coming along?"
The woman smiled.
"Everything is going perfect, although, to be absolutely certain," She stated, pausing for a moment before finally saying, "It may take a few years."
"Would three years be sufficient?"
The woman nodded.
"Three years is perfect." She replied.
Wesker smirked, his eyes glowing.
"Very well, in three years we will begin with 'Project Uroboros."
So Wesker began to from his newest plan, but for the next three years, the world knew a fragile state of peace, free from bio-terror incidents.
