Story starts during the MK 2011 after Johnny Cage vs. Baraka where Johnny loses.

Johnny was beaten and brusied. Baraka didnt have a scratch on him. Shang Tsung stood and said, "FINISH HIM!" Baraka's blades shot out of his arms. Johnny was crawling away but Baraka pinned him down. He raised his blades high and was about to swing them down. But everyone heard a blood curling howl. Baraka suddenly went flying backward away from Johnny. There with his back turned to Johnny stood a werewolf, 7 feet tall, black fur, red eyes, a ferocious expression on his face.

Turning to Johnny, he spoke. "Are you ok human?" Johnny was stunned but still mangage to say, "Yeah thanks."

The werewolf then morphed back into his human form. He had red hair slicked back, blue eyes, stood 6'4", and wasnt to ripped but still had some muscle on him. He wore a red long sleeve t shirt, black vest with a white wolf embroidered on the back, blue jeans and black and red Converse sneakers. Around his neck was a long black scarf and on his back was a sword with a black blade, red hilt, and a wolf head on the end.

Kitana and Jade looked at him and thanked the gods they were wearing veils or else Shang Tsung would seen there blush. Shang Tsung looked stupifyed. He thought that all of the werewolf clans were extinct. Raiden looked dumbstruck. He did not see this man in his visions. Hell the only one not surpried was Nightwolf. He looked glad to see his friend. Shang shook his head and said, "Who are your werewolf?" Said werewolf turned and announced his name. "I am known as Dakota. I was originally born in Outworld but I was sent to Earthrealm as a baby to protect me from a war that was happening. I am the last of my kin and i have come here to do three things. Kill those responsible for killing my clan, become the champion of Mortal Kombat, and restore my clan." The newly named Kombatant was now looking more and more feral but calmed his nerves and looked collected now.

"Well now Dakota, since you interupted his match your will face Baraka in the tornament. Next Match, Dakota of the Wolves, Vs Baraka the Tarkatan General."Shang announced.

Baraka jumped back toward the fight area. His blades flashed and he said, "I will destroy you like i did the rest of your clan!"

Dakota growled and said, "Let the hunt begin."

ROUND 1. FIGHT!

Baraka charged first and punched and kicked him. Dakota fell back to get his footing back. But Baraka would have none of it. He charged again and attempted to do a leg sweep. Dakota saw this and jumped to avoid it. He landed behind him and gave a massive kick that sent him across the fighting platform. Baraka recovered just as Dakota had closed the gap between them. Dakota tried an uppercut but Baraka blocked it and broke his tance. He hit the werewolf repeatedly and knocked him to the ground.

BARAKA WINS!

Dakota got right back up and growled. He was getting mad now.

ROUND 2. FIGHT!

Dakota went straight on the offensive. Baraka tried to block the onslaught but Dakota broke his defense and wailed on him. He jumped behind him, grabbed his neck and threw him over his shoulder and slammed him on the ground. Dakota crouched down low, like he was trying to hide. Baraka stood up dazed. Dakota's right hand changed into a pitch black claw. He sliced upwards, creating three black claw marks in the air. Baraka flew 10 feet in the air before crashing down hard.

DAKOTA WINS! FLAWLESS VICTORY!

Baraka snarled. "I am going to skin you and use your fur as a blanket.d"

Dakota just had a blank look. "Seriously? Thats your best insult? If Van Helsing counldn't kill me then i highly doubt a freak with serious dental problems and two blades that are over compensating for something, will even get close." Baraka was seeing red now. This werewolf will die!

ROUND 3. FIGHT!

Baraka was raging from Dakota's insult. He grew sloppy with the fighting and Dakota easily dodged or blocked every punch or kick. Dakota decided it was time to go on the offensive. He threw a right hook that nailed Baraka right in his jaw. Baraka spun around and Dakota kicked his back sending him stumbling forward. Dakota pulled Wolfsbane from his back and attempted to slice downward but Baraka rolled out of the way and gave an uppercut kick that sent Dakota flying. Baraka jumped into the air, grabbed the lycan, and sent him flying down to the ground. Dakota got up in time to see Baraka fire a piece of shrapnel from his blades. It hit him and the werewolve was out for the count.

BARAKA WINS! (Thought about making me win but nah makes it more interesting)

Baraka was walking over to the weakened werewolf in an attempt to finish him. But Dakota gained conciousness and jumped on the wall surronding the other fighters.

"I do admit defeat. But i will not be detered from my mission. We all get a second chance in Mortal Kombat and I will use mine to win. Until next time." Dakota said as he transformed into his beast state and ran off.

Everyone was staring at the spot where he disappered. Here are the respective thoughts of the characters we all know:

Scorpion: Interesting creature. He best hope he does not cross me.

Raiden: Who is he? I have not seen him anywhere in Earthrealm nor have the elder gods told me of him. This is very disturbing.

Lui Kang: Its a shame he lost. Still why does Lord Raiden look scared of him?

Johnny: Wow. Hes good. I wonder if he would be my sidekick?

Sub-Zero: I can tell he will go far in this tournament.

Kitana: Who is he? He gives off this aura of power and dominance yet gentleness and sincerty. Who are you Dakota?

Jade:(my favorite) Hmmmm. He is very interesting. Powerful, Intimidating,Handsome. Now if he defeats Kitana i will follow him til the end of time.

Shang Tsung: How! We were supposed to kill off all the werewolves and I was supposed to have there secrets.

Ok enough with the internal thoughts back to the story.

With Dakota (about the time Johnny saves Sonya)

"Damn. I cant believe i lost!" Dakota shouted.

Thats because you were too arrogant. A mystic voice said.

"Shut up Ookami." (Japanese for wolf) Dakota said. "I was not arrogant i was pissed off."

Yes you were. You forget I am linked to your thoughts. Ookami said.\

"Fine i was arrogant. But come on i just got my first victory and it was flawless."

Yeah yeah. Heads up someone at 6 o'clock. Cant tell if friendly or not. Careful cub.

Dakota just turned around and saw the outline of a female figure. She stood 5' 11" 120 lbs. She had a purple bandana over her shiny black hair, purple armor on her wrists, shoulders, and breastplate which barely covers her 36 D sized breasts, purple panties and leg armor. She wore a choker with a golden insignia on it.

She gave him a sultry smile. She bowed low giving him a nice view of her cleavage. "Welcome back...my master."

(que MKII fatality music)
