Chapter 2
Before we start this chapter, I just want to thank everyone who took the time to leave a review. It's so nice to read there are people who are enjoying my story. I'll try to update as frequently as I can. For now, enjoy chapter 2!
It had been two weeks since Orihime had been captured and brought to a big facility similar to a prison, which looked like it was near an industrial area. She could see the big factory chimney emitting smoke. Her cell was a little room all in white. There was only one bed and a little toilet where she could relieve herself. Besides a bed and a toilet, there was one window with bars of steel, so she could not climb out of the window to escape. The bars made her feel like she was in prison. On her first day in the facility, all the women were brought to the showers and were given white dresses. After their shower, they had to put on the white dress and were brought back to their cell. The auburn haired woman looked her eyes out and while walking to her cell she saw rooms that looked like a laboratory, which confused her. Why were there so many rooms with research equipment?
Orihime was only allowed to leave her room during dinner time and breakfast. All women on her floor, the fourth floor, had to line up and walk one for one to the breakfast room. This was not an easy task, as many women attempted to escape while walking to the breakfast room. On Orihme's third day, she once again had to line up to get her breakfast. Before her was a woman with silver hair, bloodshot eyes with anger in them. She was next in line to walk to the cafeteria, where breakfast was served. "NEXT." The guard said loudly, not noticing that a smirk appeared on the silver woman's face. She slowly started walking forward until she neared the guard, smashing her hip into his side. The guard was caught off guard and fell to the ground. This gave the women the chance to run forward, trying to get away from the group. The poor woman, however, did not notice that Nnoitra, one of the head guards had witnessed the situation, and quickly he moved forward, shooting the women cold-blooded in the head, shocking all the women who were still standing in line. Some even yelling from the shock. "Enough." Nnoitra screamed, the women calming down. "Calm ya titties before more of you get hurt." His long tongue sticking out while he watched the females, a crazy smile appearing while he crouched down, grabbing the now dead women by her hair. "Let this be a warning. Those who try to escape, know that you can never escape me." With his finger, he touched the blood of the women, brought his fingers to his mouth and licked it, a laugh escaping his lips as he watched all the women now fearing for their lives. Orihime couldn't believe what she was witnessing. Nnoitra and his cruelty, the woman who lost her life by simply trying to escape. The auburn haired just swallowed, adverting her eyes from the corpse, holding back her tears.
Now two weeks later, Orihime was slowly getting adjusted to her days in the facility. During breakfast and dinner, she attempted to search for Tatsuki, but without any luck. All the females on her floor were from another village, and there was no way she could go to another floor, no matter how hard she tried. As the days went by she also felt that the surrounding females were getting colder, bitter and selfish. In the beginning all the females would nod at each other, acknowledging each other, but with each passing day some became distant, trying to win the favor of the guards. It made Orihime sad, but she knew that everyone was just trying to cope and survive in their own way. The auburn haired beauty's days usually ended with tears. Every night, a few females would be summoned by who know what. The guards would pick up a few women from their cells, which caused them to scream of fear, fear of the unknown. Most females returned, but there were also some that never came back. This made Orihime scared and every night she couldn't stop crying, hearing the screams of her fellow prisoners, missing her brother Sora and her best friend Tatsuki even more.
Her mind wandered back to the day of the raid. The events replaying in her head. How could this happen, and why did the Kuchiki family take all the women as their prisoners? It wasn't like their women had any strength or formed a threat. Their village was poor and had barely any useful ground resources. All these thoughts made her restless. She stood up and made her way back to the window, the evening sky her only comfort in this hellish place.
"Rukia-san has arrived." An older man with long gray hair in a black and white robe was standing in front of Byakuya Kuchiki, announcing the arrival of his younger sibling. On the other side of the door, there was a panting Rukia. She flash stepped her way to the castle as fast as she could, leaving her all worn out. But it was better than to arrive two hours later by horse. The door opened, and the older man mentioned her to enter the room. As soon as the petite woman entered the room, the door closed. "Nii-sama." Rukia said respectful, taking her bow before sitting down in front of her brother. Byakuya did not meet the eyes of his sister when she seated in front of him, rather, he closed his eyes when he began speaking. "You seem exhausted, Rukia. Where have you been?" A flash of heat overtook Rukia's face as she started to panic. She couldn't tell her brother that she was with Kurosaki Ichigo. They weren't getting along, and her brother was already hesitant on making her the next heir. "U-Uh, Nii-sama…" Byakuya could hear the hesitation in her voice and dismissed her stumble. "Hmm, fine. It doesn't really matter. What matters is that you are here now." Relieved, Rukia nodded, she was happy that there probably were other pressing matters at hand. "Why did you want to see me, Nii-Sama?" It seemed that the petite female finally returned to her usual stature, the blush leaving her face.
"As you know, right now, we are busy with operation Oikoshi. The beginning stage has been set and right now, we are on schedule with how we planned things." Byakuya said, sipping his tea. "Right now, five villages are now under our control. We would move unto the sixth, but Soifon advised us to wait. Other kingdoms are of course aware of our advances, so we decided to take it a bit slower than planned." Rukia adverted her gaze from her brother's face to the ground. She knew Byakuya was ambitious, but five villages in just two weeks, that was a bit of too easy a win. "Nii-sama, don't you think that we overcame these villages too easy? I know it was Unohana's land but…" Rukia couldn't even finish her words or her brother interrupted her. "It sounds as if you are unsatisfied with our progression. Are you doubting my judgement?" His light gray eyes finally meeting his siblings. "N-No, of course not." She stumbled. "I-I.. did not mean it like that. I just want you to be careful…"
"And why is that, Rukia? Are you afraid Kurosaki Ichigo, your lover, will throw a spanner in the works once he finds out about our plans?" Rukia's eyes widened when her brother spoke these words. How did he know? When did he find out? She was doomed. "Please don't tell me you'd actually think you could fool me, Rukia."Byakuya's tone now firm and threatening. "All the nights you have been disappearing, I had the stealth team keeping tabs on you. I was worried about your wellbeing, just to find out you were spending time with Kurosaki Ichigo." Rukia's heart dropped to her stomach. She knew that her brother would not be pleased with her relationship. Even before her birth, the Kuchiki Kingdom and Kurosaki kingdom never got along. All the more, she wanted to keep this relationship a secret.
"My highest apologies, Nii-sama. I-I didn't think you would find out." Byakuya was upset, but he did not show it. It wasn't like him to scream or yell or punch a hole into the wall. That wasn't how a Kuchiki was supposed to behave. "It is alright, Rukia. It seems that thanks to your little fling, things worked out in our advantage." The words from his mouth made Rukia upset as well. It wasn't a fling, she truly loved Ichigo, but she knew well enough that this wasn't the time to oppose her brother. "Even though this time it worked out, I want you to stop seeing him."
"Wh-What, but Nii-sama. You can't demand that from me?" Rukia immediately said. "Why can I not demand this from you? I do not allow a Kuchiki to end up with a Kurosaki. Especially if it's the next heir of this kingdom." Rukia knew that being with a Kurosaki was not going to be easy, but she really liked the orange haired male. "B-But if I stay with Ichigo, I can reunite the kingdom, and we can become one big kingdom and expand our territory…" The petite woman believed firmly in her words, her voice shaking. After all, this was the first time to defy her brother. "And? Do you really think, as a woman, you will have a chance against the Kurosaki kingdom? Becoming one? Once you marry a Kurosaki, you'll be part of their family and kingdom. Have you lost your mind? Did you forget all the battles and what has happened to our kingdom in the last decade?" Byakuya raised his voice, the anger now visible in his eyes. "B-But Nii-sama, I can try." Rukia said softly. She knew that she wasn't going to win this fight.
"Rukia." Byakuya stood up and turned away from his sister. "Are you even on the side of the Kuchiki?" Two violet orbs widened once again, the face of the female moving up and down, kneeling out of respect. Y-Yes Nii-sama, of course." "Then prove it to me. I want you to bring me something." The female didn't move an inch, sweat forming on her back. "I want you to bring me the semen of your lover." Byakuya turned around, taking out a glass jar out of his sleeve, placing it in front of the kneeling woman. "Excuse me?" Rukia said, confused by her brother's words. "You have heard me. I want to receive it by next week. I'll give you a week to bring me the jar." The female now looked at her brother with an expression filled with horror. "Choose this week where you belong and bring me the jar. If you choose to defy my order, you will be punished." Punishments ordered by the head of the kuchiki weren't small or little punishments. Usually if someone was receiving a punishment it would mean that the person in question would lose a body part or even the sense to feel pleasure. This made Rukia swallow. She had no other choice, so she took the jar. "You may now leave."
"W-Wait." Rukia reached out her hand to her brother. "Can I at least know what it is for?" Byakuya glared at his sister. How dare she have the nerve to test his patience like this. "I'll tell you after you have finished your quest. In one week, I want to receive what I asked for." Rukia nodded and made her leave. Upon leaving her brother's room, her friend Renji met her in the hallway. His usual bright red hair in a ponytail, tattoos all over his body. "Oi Rukia." He yelled, walking towards her. "Renji…" She said soft, all energy leaving her body. "Rukia. Oi, what's wrong." The petite girl fell to the ground, feeling heavy. Renji picked her up and brought her to her room, running through the big hallways of the Kuchiki estate. Once he reached her room, he laid her down on her bed. "Care to tell me what's up?" Renji finally asked after a moment of silence. He was now sitting at the vanity table, starting at Rukia through the mirror. "Nii-sama found out about Ichigo…" Tears were now forming in Rukia's violet eyes. Crying was something she rarely did, but now she couldn't hide her pain, not even from her best friend. Renji simply sighed as he shook his head. "I'd told you this was a bad idea. You should've known better than to mess around with Ichigo." Renji turned around to look at his friend, his head resting on his hand. "I'm not here to lecture you, but you 'do' know what to do, right?" Rukia nodded, wiping her tears. "I have no other choice."
Kisuke Urahara was standing before a tied up woman with raven hair, her hair short and her body slender yet athletic. The female had a few bruises on her face from the fight she ended up in a few moments ago. Arisawa Tatsuki was a tomboy that was well known for standing up for people. Just a little while ago, she ended up in a fight with another female who attempted to steal the food of a little girl. Tatsuki saw that the female was trying to threaten the girl and would not have it. But the woman was so desperate that she threw a punch at Tatsuki, the guards breaking them up after a few moments, and now Tatsuki ended up in Urahara's office, her hands tied to the chair.
"Arisawa-san?" He asked, taking a seat in front of her. "I heard you got yourself in a little hassle with one of your floor mates, care to tell me more?" Urahara removed his hat which caused his eyes to be visible to the women in front of him, a gentle expression on his face. Tatsuki looked at him without saying anything. She wasn't the one to spill the beans to strangers, even though the situation wasn't her fault. Eventually, she turned her head away, refusing to say anything.
"Seems like you want to avoid sharing what happened. You know, it makes me kind of sad. I really want to help you." Urahara said, studying the tomboy in front of him. "Help me?" Tatsuki hissed, her face meeting Urahara's. "How about you let us all go? That would be the best way to help us all."
"I'm sorry, but it is simply impossible." Urahara replied. "But I do can make your stay a little more present if you help me." Another one of his signature goofy smiles appearing on his face. Tatsuki looked at the man but could not read him. Usually, she was good at reading people, but this man was a mystery. He probably was the one that brought the girls here, so she knew that he probably couldn't be trusted. "Hmph…" She answered. "Why are we here in the first place?"
"That, I cannot answer. Boss his orders." He smiled, moving away from his chair as he walked towards the green bookshelf that was located next to the window on the left side of his desk. "Arisawa-san, from your file I read that you're coming from the Haido village. My apologies to be so forward but do you perhaps know a girl named Inoue Orihime?" Tatsuki's eyes lit up while hearing that name, leaning forward while trying to shift in her chair. "You know Orihime? Where is she? Did you find her? Don't tell me she's here?" The raven haired tomboy started to become restless, Urahara watching her from the corner of his eye, liking the reaction he just witnessed. Judging from her reaction, Orihime must have been close or special to her.
"Inoue Orihime is here. She was brought in two weeks ago." Tatsuki's eyes immediately turned dark as her head started to hang. If her friend was here, she knew that she must have endured a lot. Orihime was sweet, but Tatsuki did not know if her friend would be strong enough to endure the whole situation. She was always there to protect Orihime, and now she ended up in the same place. "But how?" She muttered, her voice sounded as if she was about to cry. "Inoue-san has been taken just like all the other females of the Haido village to this facility. Wasn't she supposed to get caught?" Urahara asked, now scanning the books in the bookcase, as if his books were more interesting than Tatsuki's replies.
"W-When the village got raided s-she wasn't even there. She was supposed to be someplace else…" She trailed off, warm drops of water streaming down her cheeks. "Arisawa-san…" Urahara's voice sounded calm and friendly, making his way back to his chair. "From your reaction, I can sense that Inoue-san is very dear to you, am I right?" The woman now in front of him was still looking down, biting her lip as she gave him a nod. "I am quite curious about your friend. Would you care to tell me more about who she is?" His tone still calm and gentle.
"I don't know why you are interested in Orihime, but I won't tell you anything. I don't even know what you will do to her." Tatsuki was a hardheaded person with a huge moral compass. Orihime was fragile when she was young but blossomed into a beautiful flower when she got of age. Orihime's hair was long and flowing down beautifully, accentuating her curves. Tatsuki knew that many males only wanted to know more about her friend because of her looks. Since she could not read the blonde male before her, she knew she couldn't sell out her friend like that.
"I will not hurt your friend, Arisawa-san. I can very well understand you want to protect her, and you can only do so by telling me more about her." Tatsuki was back to biting her lip. She wasn't in a position to be able to help her friend physically. "Also, like I said. I am able to help you with your situation as well. This is not only for Inoue-san's best interest, but also for your own."
"I-I'm not going to sell Orihime out for my own safety." Her answer was final, which caused the smile of Urahara to disappear. "What about the safety of your parents, Arisawa-san?" At the mention of her parents, Tatsuki's head shot up, her eyes meeting Urahara's. "T-They are alive?" Tears streaming down, her lips swollen from the punch she took earlier and from her biting. Urahara nodded. He felt so bad that he was doing this to the girl. "Yes, and I might be able to let you meet them. If, you tell me about Orihime."
"Don't you dare touch them. They are very sick and need help." Tatsuki said sobbing. "Arisawa-san, I can get them any help they need, but I need you to tell me more about Inoue Orihime." There was doubt in Tatsuki's eyes, and Urahara knew that the internal conflict caused by a choice between her family and her friend was influencing her. "W-What happens to my parents if I don't tell you about Orihime?"
"To be honest…" Urahara took a big sigh before resuming. "They are prisoners at the Rukon prison and since they are not of good health they are most likely to be killed in the next seventy-two hours, that if you do not plan to cooperate with me." Hearing those words broke Tatsuki, sobs now leaving her body as she was torn about what to do. Never in her life she let Orihime down. All these times she was there to protect her from bullies, vulgar men and women. Sora was now dead, and she knew that she was next in line to protect her, but could she? She couldn't even help herself, Orihime or her parents, like Urahara-san said.
Tatsuki's lip was quivering while meeting Urahara's eyes again, softly but slowly answering his request. "W-What do you want to know?" Regret already filling her heart. "Please tell me everything you know about Inoue Orihime."
"Ichigo, are you home?" Rukia said softly, knocking on the balcony door of Ichigo's room. A few days had passed since Byakuya's ultimatum. "Hmph… Rukia?" Slowly, Ichigo opened the huge doors that led to his balcony, maroon curtains surrounding him. "What are you doing here?" The orange haired male said rather sleepy, rubbing his eyes. Seeing her lover sleepy, half naked with a raspy voice in the moonlight made Rukia both swoon and sad. "I missed you, Ichigo." She said softly, making her way into his arms as she pressed herself against him, hugging him tightly, her arms softly moving up and down his back.
Rukia wasn't the one for hugs, but Ichigo liked the feeling of his girlfriend in his arms. "It's cold out here, let's go inside." Rukia looked up at her boyfriend and nodded, a tiny smile appearing on her lips.
Not soon after they entered the room, heat filled the room. Their hug ended into intense kissing and eventually into love making. The whole night, Rukia emerged herself into her feelings and love for Ichigo, wishing that his touch and little comments about her body would never stop. That the way her heart was beating, fast and intense, would never change. She loved Ichigo, and this was her last time to prove that she truly did.
Just like Rukia, Ichigo emerged himself into their intercourse. However, this was the first time Rukia had been so eager. Her touch, so hungry and almost impatient. It was foreign to Ichigo, but nevertheless he enjoyed it. He loved Rukia, and this was just a confirmation that she loved and wanted him just as much as he did.
The night passed by and dawn came. Rukia awoke from her slumber while the orange head beside her was still in full sleep mode. A sad smile appeared on her lips. Softly, she ran her head though his hair. "I love you, Ichigo." She whispered before looking for her clothes, dressing herself. Soon after, she made her way to the balcony, the cold morning wind meeting her. She walked to the end of the balcony, seeing Renji sitting on top of the railing.
"Ya done?" Renji said with a cocked brow. A small jar appeared in Rukia's hand, wiping a tear from her cheek. "Yeah." Renji placed a hand on Rukia's shoulder, his eyes softening. "Rukia, just know it's for the best." The petite woman nodded to her longtime friend. "Let's just go."
And together they were off with the wind, meeting the uprising sun.
It was soooo much fun to write this chapter. Everything is really messed up, but I hope that only adds more to this story. Please leave a review and see you guys soon!
