Here's the last revised chapter in Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake. I hope that every single chapter is better than they were before. Chapter 10:
Fionna was pretending to watch the rest of the movie, but she was lost in her own thoughts. As everybody left, she saw that Snowflake stayed behind, "Aren't you going to hang with pg?" Fionna asked. Snowflake had acted as if she hadn't heard her. She looked worried. Like when Fionna fought the Lich worried.
"Fionna I have to tell you something, something really important. I… I… think I m-might b-be p-preg-nant. The only reason why I came today was that I hoped that you might understand and that you could help me tell Gumball, we are going to get married as well, but that's in at least 2 months. Who knows how big I'll be by then."Snowflake started to cry.
That must be why she ran off with Gumball. She didn't want Ice Queen to get mad.
Fionna wrapped her arms around her and sat her down on the couch.
How could that be that Snowflake was already pregnant? How could it be that they are already getting married? She didn't even see a ring on either one of their ring fingers.
Was it arranged or something? They couldn't have known each other that long. Gumball would have said something sooner, right?
Fionna put on a poker face. She was screaming internally though. She often did this when her sister was giving her a hard time, or when she doesn't want her enemy to see her fear.
"Shh, don't worry I will help you through this, you don't need to worry." Fionna was terrified about telling Gumball this. She was very confused by the whole situation. Gumball just the other day seemed single. She even had a gut feeling that he was jealous of her and Marshal. She didn't say anything, because she didn't want to seem rude.
What if he left Snowflake; she couldn't bear to see her friends get hurt. She was going to have to try. But how will she break the news to him? She didn't have the answer.
She told people good and bad news to people all the time. This shouldn't be any different, should it?
Should it be different when it was her friend?
I mean, Gumball was a responsible young man. He had a kingdom that he had to run all by himself. He should be able to handle being a father just fine. He created the candy people. He created Lemon Lady.
She kept trying to calm Snowflake down, but once Snowflake cried herself asleep, she was able to think about her new request. She put a blanket over Snowflake and moved her white hair out of her eyes. She finished cleaning in the living room without disturbing her guest.
She felt bad for Snowflake. She may have just meet her, but she still thought of her as my friend.
By the time she finished she was so tired that she decided to go to sleep. She just hoped that Ice Queen never found out. When she changed and got into bed, she fell asleep as soon as her head touched the bed.
She didn't dream that night. And for that she was actually glad.
She didn't know why but she didn't want to dream at all that night. She needed time to just wind down, and just truly rest.
