Aether's POV
I yawn out loud as I saw Paimon looking somewhere drooling. I look at where she is looking and notice the scent of food.
I smiled and says "Are you hungry?"
Paimon looks at me with sparkling eyes and nodded and I sighed. I look at my pouch and notice that my mora can't even buy single water.
"Aether?"
"It seems that we will eat outside," I scratch the back of my head as she pouted.
"It's fine, I'm already used to eating outside," she said. Sometimes, I feel bad. She is my guide yet I can't even give her decent food or a place to stay. "I miss my teapot,".
No one's POV
Aether possessing no mora decided to get outside and hunt for some food. "Oh traveler your awake, hows's your Injury?" Ver Goldet the owner of the inn asked.
He smiled and replied. "don't worry my body is fine now. Thanks to the doctor." He looked around and notice that she is not there anymore. Goldet notice it and said.
"Qiqi returned to Liyue after tending your wounds."
"I see," he said as he wave his goodbye and told the innkeeper that he and Paimon will head outside for a while.
Aether closes his eyes feeling the breeze of the cold air. Even though the sun is up and so bright. The air is still cold. He found out that today's winter so that explains why the air is so cold.
"Let's go," Aether said as Paimon followed.
A moment later Paimon notices a camp of Hillcurl. "Aether a camp of Hillcurls!" She pointed out.
Suddenly the air felt tense. "Aether are you okay?"
"I'm fine... Paimon...they are not a monster that you think of" is what Aether said before departing to the other side and heading inside the forest.
"Sorry..."
"It's fine, I'm the one who forgot to tell you," Aether said as he put his hand on Paimon's head.
"Hillcurl are people of Khaenri'ah who turned into a monster. They are the same as the abyss monsters" he said.
"I promise Paimon won't forget this so please tell me the whole story!"
"Why?"
"It's... I don't want to say something that might hurt you again...just like earlier." she said
"I see, next time... I promise," Aether said with a smile as Paimon cheer up once again and become much livelier.
"Now that explains why he didn't kill any Hillcurl in Monstadt too," she thought.
After a moment of walking around, they finally saw what they are searching for. A pond. "Let's go fishing!" Paimon yelled as he summon his own made fishing rod.
Aether and Paimon cook 15pcs of grilled fish. They successfully catch 29 fish but he decided to put the others on inventory for an emergency. Now both of them are sitting near a campfire as they eat the food they cooked.
"I'm full" Paimon thought after eating 9 pcs while he ate 6 pieces. Nothing changes, Paimon is Paimon.
Suddenly Paimon scream out loud and made Aether surprised "Aether! The commission! We forget about it! We need to hurry!"
"Oh, Katherine's commission," he remembered as he stand up and stretch his arms up.
"Let's go!"
Aether's POV
I and Paimon began to descend to our journey once again. We meet a lot of people on our way to Liyue like Yanxiao, and Landa. We even do Soraya's commission to activate the mechanism and defeat the ruin hunters on the way.
We also meet the treasure hoarders. But thanks to my dominance over Anemo and Geo. I defeated them without the need of using my powers.
The truth is I need to avoid using my powers since the seal is still active. What am using right now is only a fraction of my powers. But it will run out soon if I use it too much. I need to think of a way to break the seal soon or I'll just master the seven elements instead since breaking the seal means going to Khaenri'ah and that nation is on the other side of Teyvat.
No one's POV
Giant boats can be seen everywhere and a huge ocean and who knows where is the edge.
"Paimon so tired," she said breathing heavily.
Aether really can't blame her since Paimon is the one solving the puzzles on their commission and when he goes to fight a mob, Paimon always runs before the clash started.
Aether and Paimon stroll inside as they meet Xiangling on the way and she recommends some Liyue foods. After chatting for a while, the two finally are in front of Katherine.
"WHAT!" She yelled.
"Welcome to the Liyue Branch of Adventure Guild. Ad Astra Abyssoque!" The woman who looked like Katherine said.
"I guess this is for you"
"A letter for me?" She read it and says " why is there a dandelion inside? Asked Katherine.
"I bet Paimons knows it was Katherine!" The flying fairy replied.
"It must be Monstadt Katherine and Oh you must be Paimon. This letter talks about you too. Traveler, it says you are a highly recommended adventurer." She greets.
"Of course! Traveler can destroy any monsters on sight and finish commission faster like a piece of cake!" Paimon proudly said as Aether laugh a bit.
"If that is so then, A whole new world of wild adventures awaits you. Ad Astra Abyssosque!"
