A whole day had passed after Rex Lapiz Death and of course, the Liyue misunderstood Aether as the criminal because of his unknown strength.
After sleeping for a whole day he could feel his body much better now, unlike yesterday every time he moves it always ache a lot. He look around and saw himself inside a prison with Paimon sleeping with him. The little fairy is worried though but everything is fine now.
His wounds are already been treated and his strength returned too, but his hand is tied up on the bed with a triple-layer metal cupped. "Did they think that this would stop me? Let's see how this goes first." he thought. He woke Paimon up and as expected he cried right away making Aether comfort her.
"I'm okay little fairy," he reassured as Paimon smiled.
"Paimon hungry!" She shouted to the guard.
"Shut up! Wait here!" The guard shouted back. "He's too mean," Paimon said as Aether lay down on the bed once again.
"Eh! Aether! Wake up, this is the plan, while the guard brings us food you must knock them out and both of us will escape!" Paimon shouted.
"So that's what your planning, huh," a voice can be heard outside.
"Eeeh!" How did you get here so fast!" Paimon asked now that she knows their plan, it's all useless.
"Told you it won't work" Aether said.
Paimon pouted "You didn't tell Paimon anything!"
The door then opened as the Yuheng come inside. "Your chip trick of escape won't work as long as I'm here," The Yuheng said.
"You know. getting inside my cell is a really bad idea, MS. Yuheng," Aether said as he sit on the bed and stretch his arms. The metal hand cupped has already been destroyed.
Yuheng just smiled and don't move and just stare at them. "Aether this is the right time to escape" Paimon whispered.
"Nah, I want to rest more," he said
"Eh!" She squealed.
"Stop the act. Would you attack me or not? This is your right chance to escape but of course. I'll make sure that one of your arms has been cut off if that happens," The Yuheng said.
"Ms. Yuheng I guess you are overestimating your abilities. You cutting me down especially now that I'm at my full strength is certainly impossible," He clarifies.
Yuheng knows that it's true "Then why don't you attack me if you're so sure about that?" She asked the blonde boy.
"I just wanted to say that I'm innocent that's all," he said
"..." Paimon dumb pounded. After showing that kind of power and almost defeating the Qixing. Did he think he could escape by saying that?
"No, the Tianquan will be the one who decides if you will be set free," The Yuheng said.
"Ms. Yuheng, I can't wait for another day inside this cell. I'm already hungry and this fairy is here and I have something much more important to do so can we just forget this happen?" He suggested.
"Is he an idiot?" The Yuheng thought.
"Ah! I guess Aether means that can you get us some food, hehe," she nervously says.
"I can't set you free and forget how you humiliate the Millelith and the Tianquan like that but––
Aether cut her off.
"For your information, the Tianquan is the first one to attack. same with the Millelith and it's not my fault that they get defeated like that. I'm not the type of man who won't retaliate after getting hit." Aether said as Yuheng is angry right now.
The air is currently vibrating as he messes with her more and more while Paimon is panicking at the sight of the two.
The Yuheng coughed and stated "You're an interesting fellow. Sadly, you're my enemy so you'll stay here. And also don't call me Yuheng. My Name is Keqing," she said as she get and before she could get outside aether smirk.
"I see Catqing as in cat. The names suit you well," he teased as she blush at the name. "You!– She sighs and just lets it be as she finally disappears leaving the two behind.
Paimon finally breathe normally as the air returned to normal. "Aether stop flirting while messing with her! Do you want us to be killed!" She panicked
"Don't worry I doubt that will happen," he smiled as suddenly both of them could hear someone whispering from the window of the cell.
Paimon look at him and saw a tall man wearing a ninja suit. "Who are you!" Paimon asked.
"Quiet they will hear us! Both of you stay away from the window!" He said as the two followed.
And with a single smash, the whole wall had been destroyed getting heard by the whole Millelith forces. "INTRUDER!" One of the Millelith shouted as he saw the masked man but before he could react the masked man knock him up and everyone came at him.
"Let's go!" He shouted as the two followed.
After a minute of sneaking around, they finally escape them. "Phew, Paimon's exhausted..." She said while panting heavily.
"Just what kind of muscle do you flying magical fairy have?" Aether murmured
"So insensitive! You have no idea how tiring floating aro– Wait! Just who are you exactly?" Paimon asked the masked man.
The man then removes his mask and it shows a man wearing gray clothes and with brown-yellow hair, I guess? And with a mask at the side of his head.
"Call me Childe, we are not enemies so you didn't need to worry at all," He introduce himself.
"Childe? You said that makes you suspicious" Paimon said making the Childe laugh.
"No, not at all, I'm not here to fight also my name Childe is an alias of the sort," he said and asked them if they meet Signora in Monstadt making Paimon surprised.
"You're Fatui! One of the Harbinger!" Paimon shouted. "Oh no, don't worry I'm not looking for a fight and...*he laugh a bit. I don't think I could win against this companion of yours." he looks at Aether.
"Right, let's forget about her, shall we? I'm here to help" Childe says.
"We don't need help from the Fatui?" Paimon says. "Come on, don't be like that, I'm not a bad guy...okay, perhaps I'm a kind of bad guy, but I swear I'm not here to give you trouble," childe said as both Paimon and aether nodded.
"I heard your deeds in Monstadt so I can't help but notice you especially when you fought the Liyue Qixing because of Rex Lapiz's death. And because I had my eyes on you the whole time. I know it wasn't you. Someone else is behind this. But I'm a Fatui so there's no way they will trust what I say," He stated.
"The ruling Qixing of Liyue has always been overly suspicious of us" he continued.
"Well, can you honestly blame them," Paimon said as Childe laughed "guess, I shouldn't try to deny that. Anyway, about the help, I'm offering. I'll let you get to choose. Meet me at the Northland bank if you agree to accept my help. Staying here isn't an option. As the old Liyue saying goes". "The walls have ears" Childe said and told them about the northland bank open by the Snezhnaya.
Without any second thought, Paimon and Aether followed Childe to the Northland Bank. Childe seems happy that they agreed to help.
Childe handed them something. "Here I'll give it to you"

"I'm not sure, exactly. Sometimes, all money can buy things and not a name for oneself. All I know is that a sigil. A sigil to keep the mighty and illuminated Adepti from bringing harm to you" he said.
"Adepti?" Paimon asked. Childe then explains that if they head to the north of the harbor, then west from Guili Plains, they will eventually reach a stone forest known to us, Jueyun Karst. The people of Liyue believe it to be the abode of the Adepti.
"They believe that?" Paimon asked.

"Now that the Qixing knows that you escape. They will dispatch the Millelith. They'll be seeking the culprit so better be careful," he said while looking at Aether.
"But how could a mortal kill a god who could sweep aside whole armies? They don't really think at all and just blame anyone suspicious," he sarcastically said.
"Anyway, even now the Northland Bank wouldn't be able to hold off the Millelith for long, but the Adepti can clear you of any wrongdoings," Childe suggested.
"Liyue was founded by the geo archon and the Adepti–of course. It was built by force. Look for them. And be faster than the Qixing Messengers. So you may give your version of the event first. They are the only ones who can help you." He said as aether and Paimon finally leaves for their journey.
Little did Paimon knows someone is watching them. Of course, Aether notices it. He look at the mountain near Liyue and saw her "Lumine" he thought. "Just wait for me," he thought as he continue his journey with Paimon.
