Ayaka is looking terrified. Her body is not moving at all. "Is this...fear?" She thought as she almost scream but before she could do that. A lot of stones are being thrown at the samurai and Noboyushi.
"There there! Let go of her!" A flying fairy shouted as she throw everything she have in her bag.
"What's is that!" The samurai asked dodging the stones. Ayaka saw that the fairy is telling her to run. She gathers her strength and runs away from her.
"Bye-bye!" Paimon flew fast. The samurai chased them but they get lost suddenly. "They're gone," they thought as they all returned to their post.
"Ah-ha..phew" Ayaka panted heavily after running for so long. She thought they would catch them but suddenly she and the fairy fall inside the stone passageway.
"It's hurt..." She looked at Paimon. "tha-thanks" She said then looked at herself. She is full of dirt.
"Everything is fine now little Lady! My name's Paimon! A friend of the strongest adventurer was alive! HaHAHA!" Paimon proudly said.
"My name is Kamisato Ayaka, Elder daughter of the Kamisato Clan. Thank you for saving me Paimon." Ayaka says respectfully.
"Hmm...Oh! No...well...Paimon remembered saving you but...not for free!" She yelled childishly.
"Eh...No don't worry! I'll pay how much you want..." She asked panicked.

Ayaka on the other hand is thinking if she should help her or not. In the end, she agreed since she won't be here if it were not for her.
Paimon smiled widely as she bring Ayaka to the Traveler's chamber. Ayaka is surprised since the chamber is covered with golden energy. "Is he...the one that the Shogun and my brother talking about?" She thought as she approached the old man.
He has white hair and full wrinkles all over his body. His breathing is getting slower and slower. It seems that he is too weak to even take a bite of food.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't help him in this kind of state. We need to bring him to Inazuma," Ayaka said but Paimon declined.
"No! Aether told me that any hospitals across the Teyvat don't have the ability to heal him...but he did tell me to gather something that will help him get back to his prime state," Paimon said as Ayaka wondered what is that.
"He told me to find a source of energy somewhere. Paimon already knows where it is but my body is too small to even lift it back... please help Paimon back!" Paimon said.
"Only lifting?" Ayaka asked as she sigh as she look at the old man again. She thought that was an old man but not. That was aether who get weakened rapidly. Her curiosity forces her to ask Paimon about what happened. But Paimon won't tell a thing. Only the man in front of her shall decide whether to tell her something or not.
"I see then I swear in the name of the Kamisato Clan that I will do my best to help this friend of yours," Ayaka said as Paimon smiled
"Then follow me!" She enthusiastically said Ayaka just smiled at how childish the fairy is but she do wonder who is that guy earlier. She could tell that he is going to die soon due to aging...but why would Paimon won't bring him to Inazuma hospital. She will find it out later once the man wakes up.
With the help of Paimon as the one in charge of navigation. Ayaka easily gets down the mountain. Paimon notice why Ayaka suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"Why did you stop?" She asked.
"I need to be prepared first so~~~ but Paimon cut her off. "Hey, I know you're a rich girl so I'm telling you this, you don't need to take a bath or even clean your clothes before following me! Just follow Paimon the way you are. We need to hurry before he dies!" Paimon shouted as Ayaka almost get terrified as this is the first time someone shouted at her.
"Ojou-sama! What happen to you?! You're full of dirt. Come with me we need to tend your clothes first!" The man grab her hand but Ayaka told him to let go.
"Thoma it's fine. I want to help her first." She told him as she look at Paimon suddenly Thoma's mouth is wide open. "Eh! Y-you.. you are the Traveler's Fairy!"
It surprised Ayaka the most because she doesn't know anything about her at all... "Hmm...Who are you? Paimon doesn't remember seeing you somewhere, Ah! You and Childe look alike!" Paimon said.
"Who is this Childe? No no, of course, I know you! You're the fairy that always accompanies the famous Traveler around! The news of him defeating the dragon in Mondstadt and slaying the King of the Sea Osial! He is really strong!" He enthusiastically told her.
"I know you want to know something more, but I and this young lady need to go somewhere else! Ah, how about following us and I will let you meet the Traveler?" Thoma nodded too excited to meet this famous Traveler.

"Is he the one who flew in the air that time?" He thought. He is going to ask Paimon but Paimon stops him and instead told Ayaka and Thoma to just carry the traveler and follow him!
"We're here!" Paimon said but both Ayaka and Thoma are terrified to even touch the water. "Hey, what are you waiting for!" She yelled.
"Uhmm Paimon. Knowing that you are new here I need to tell you something. That water is dangerous and will kill anyone who touches it," Ayaka stated as Thoma nodded and Paimon just thought. "did I mess up...but this is what he told me about!"
Paimon hoped she is not wrong because if yes then he will die the moment he touches the water. "Throw his body on the water!" Paimon shouted as Thoma is hesitant to do so to the old man.
"Wait Paimon! It will tarnish the Kamisato Clan name if Ayaka is seen to have disposed of a man!" Thoma shouted.
"Paimon knows what she is doing and we're not where to dispose of him but to heal him, So do it!" She said Thoma and Ayaka gulped.
They hope it will end well and there they throw him into the purple river. The deadliest water in Inazuma.
The body didn't float but instead drowned. "We're doomed," Thoma said as he notice how scared Ayaka is. That's right if that man died, the Kamisato Clan will be blamed since Ayaka is the one who agreed to it. "Don't worry Ojou-sama I will take care of it so~
Before they could react more. the water is blown upward. "What's happening?" Ayaka asked as she notice Paimon is smiling.
"He's alive!" She shouted as the three of them watch. The water then disperses as it reveals a man with golden hair.
Her upper clothes have been destroyed so his muscles and abs can be seen. Ayaka, of course, had dignity so she cover her face with her haori but peeked a bit.
Thoma just sigh. This is the first time he has seen Ayaka like this but now his theory is right. Every girl is like that, whether it would be rich or a commoner.
"AETHER!" Paimon excitedly runs to him. Paimon hugged his head while Aether just smiled and pat her head.
"See, I'm going to save you!" She enthusiastically smiled. "I know you can do it Paimon." He replied.
He then looks at the two. Paimon introduces them. "The young girl name Ayaka and the tall man named Thoma! They carried you here. It's thanks to them that you're alive"
The two are still surprised though. How an old man becomes young. Is the fountain of youth real? That is what is on their mind.
"Thank you for helping me...also" he looks at them with a smile. "I know you have a lot of questions but rest assured. I'm not your enemy. I'm here to help you abolish the Vision hunt decree."
