After what happened yesterday. The two Inazuma have a lot of questions in mind but aether told them to wait until they clear the mess here in the mountain. The Tarazuna Mountains, are one of the most dangerous areas in Inazuma where thunders always occur and the deep mist above it.
It takes 5% of the Shogun army and 10 % from the Yashiro commission and a percentage from other clans to take down the Nobuyoshi and samurais lurking there. With the traveler's help, the casualties have been minimized and there is no reported death from the Shogun's side.
They killed 457 Samurais and arrested almost 2000 samurais and a hundred's Nobuyoshi who surrendered.
After that, a feast happen and of course, Traveler and Paimon's reputation increased making the citizen of Inazuma accept them even though they did come to Inazuma illegally. That night the shogun visited their camp and officially congratulated Kamisato Ayaka for leading the battle to Victory.
"I'm honored Almighty Shogun, but without everyone's support I'm sure that I will fail so it's all thanks to them... especially to the Traveler," Ayaka Said with dignity, the Shogun looked at her and found no lie at all.
After that, she briefs her on everything that happens in the battle. Ayaka didn't tell her about the Traveler's Unexplainable miracle. The Shogun on the other hand didn't expect an outsider would be so much help.
"Is he here?" The shogun asked because according to what Ayaka says it seems that this Traveler he is talking about seems so powerful.
Maybe he is the one the Shogun is searching for these past few days. She sip a tea and gently put it down on the table then asked Ayaka. "You successfully lead the encampment to Victory without Kojou Sara's guidance and not just that you even bring the traveler here not by force but through his will. A talk is enough, I don't need to abduct him. Tell me Ayaka, What is the reward you wish for?"
Ayaka is reluctant to say anything since this is the first time her wish is granted by the Almighty Shogun.
She remembers everything that's happening inside Inazuma and how hurt the people are because of their ambitions getting loss. She only wishes for their happiness and for what's better. "I wish...Please Almighty Shogun! I hope you reconsider abolishing the Vision hunt decree!" Kamisato Ayaka responded.
The shogun looks angry thought at what she just said. "Are you saying to abandon my dream of eternity?!" The shogun's aura is leaking and making Ayaka shiver.
"I...
She gathers her strength to fight back. "The Vision hunt decree is never been right! You are stealing everyone's ambitions because of it! You're the Shogun! the one who rules the Inazuma! and your job is to make Inazuma a better place but... IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THE VISION HUNT DECREE IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT!" She shouted while her body is trembling just by the look of the shogun.
"Y..you dare to question me...it seems that we can't talk properly. I thought you already matured Ayaka, but I guess, I'm wrong," The shogun stands up and looks at her directly in the eyes once more.
"Visit me at the palace tomorrow, your punishment will be decided there," and just like that, the Shogun disappears in just a blink of an eye.
Some of the Yashiro commission employees who saw everything are scared and...blaming Ayaka under their breath. Ayaka on the other hand is trembling at what she is hearing. She couldn't help but think...that she is just helping and here she is still in the wrong.
That night she returned to the Kamisato state depressed as she watch the moon sadly alone.
"The shogun is cruel isn't it," Ayaka heard a voice behind her and jump in shock but when she turned around she sigh and calm down.
"It's not...yes..or ...I don't know...I do not know anymore!" She shouted she couldn't think anymore. The people she helped just betrayed her because of fear of the punishment given by the shogun.
Hating her because of what she did. She just wanted the good thing to happen but the reality is cruel.
"Yeah she's not, she is just someone who needs comfort and understanding," The traveler said as he seated far from Ayaka. She couldn't understand so she look at him confused.
"Tell me Ayaka, Do you have any idea why the Shogun wanted to promote eternity?" He asked.
"I... don't know" Ayaka said. That's right she doesn't know. Even the whole Inazuma doesn't know anything at all. All they know is the Shogun started the Vision hunt decree to promote eternity, but why does she want to promote eternity?
She doesn't understand. What's the connection between the word Eternity to the Vision hunt decree? Why did she start it in the very first place? For Eternity? Then what's the reason behind eternity?
Her mind is now puzzled and the Traveler notices it as he flicks her forehead with his finger "ouch!" The Heron touched the area she got flicked on and looks at the Smiling traveler madly but just sigh in the end.
"I'll tell you then, The Shogun is an Archon who lived longer than humans and of course, and those times she already experiences pain and suffering. The Archon war and the cataclysm happen in Inazuma five hundred years ago." He said
"Uhm," Ayaka is going to ask something but the Traveler stopped her.
"It's just ordinary for a human or even a god to have a friend right?" He asked and She nodded
"then what if you lost them in war, countless of them? Countless of your comrades in arms that you meet along the way and the most precious persons in your life only to get lost one day, either by death or old age?"
"Not only that, seeing your cultures die so suddenly. I guess you already know that a lot of things have already changed in Inazuma. Especially now this time... Inazuma no rarely uses martial arts. The shogun who live for thousands of years meeting people and seeing them die one by one, years passing only the cycle to be repeated as she watches them leaving her all alone and most importantly the thing she devoted to all her life already dying in this time"
"I..."Ayaka gets stopped once again
"In short the Shogun driven by a fear of further loss, wants to preserve Inazuma for all eternity." The traveler finished Ayaka is astonished as she didn't think of it.
She didn't even notice that two rats are eavesdropping on them. Ayato and Thoma who just listening and just like Ayaka was surprised at what the Traveler stated.
After a minute of thinking Ayaka finally, open her mouth. "I get what you are trying to say but the Vision hunt decree, I don't see any connection about the eternity you are talking about"
The Traveler just nods and responds. "You are the Yashiro commission, so I guess you already know that the Fatui have already gotten inside Inazuma? the Vision hunt decree happen one year and two months ago, three weeks after the Fatui's arrival. Isn't it fishy?" He also told her about the scheme of the Kanjou commission manipulating the Shogun with the backing of the Fatui.
"How do you know it? Is it the truth or...
"It's the truth, you don't need to worry. The Shogun is not an idiot. I'm sure she is fully aware of it," he said and continued. "As to why the Vision hunt decree is still there even though it's damaging the Inazuma, one reason... Individual ambition is inherently incompatible with eternity"
After what he said Ayaka couldn't believe how dumb she is for not thinking of it. She is also impressed and jealous that the Traveler knows it even though he is just staying here in Inazuma for only five days or more maybe.

Before she could retort more. Travelers talks again. "Can you destroy the shoguns will?" He asked seriously as he continued. "Talking about what's that Shogun's decision, as a good or bad is all useless if you can even shake her will"
"That's true," The two rats thought while eavesdropping but Aether is no idiot. He knows they are there for a while.
"What you said is certainly right...and I apologize for my inability to even guess what is the reason behind the decree or the eternity that the Shogun is implementing. I'm really is a shame to the Kamisato clan," she sadly said but aether just Pat her head.
"Eh..what-
"Silly girl, you are not a shame to your clan. It's just that Shogun of yours is too lazy to even explain why the heck the decree has even started in the very first place," The Traveler sarcastically said while Ayaka laugh with a smile.

"Good night," And with a blink of her eyes, the Traveler is gone. Kamisato Ayaka felt something new at that time..for the first time in her life she felt not alone.
