"Aether! Where have you been? You make Paimon worried!" Paimon shouted and she approached the Traveler sleeping on the grass field.

"Hahaha your really a worrywart," he remarked

"I can't help it every time you disappear you get into a fight and almost fucking die because of it!" Paimon retorted as the Traveler just laugh it off.

Suddenly Paimon is sniffing him a lot and smirked "stop it what are you doing" Aether said as he get away from Paimon.

"You smelled like a woman... don't tell me...did you go to a brothel!" Paimon shockingly said as Aether is a bit nervous.

"Hell no! Why would I do that?" He crossed his arms with his reply.

"Hmm...hmmm...I see...I get it! Ayaka disappear last night so I guess you are with her," her smirk grew wider.

The Traveler looks at her with annoyance. "What are you talking about? did you hit your head?" He asked

"No. Paimon is fine! You are the one who's not okay with denying your hormones! Aether I suggested you go and fetch that girl, right now!" Paimon stated as he have a tick mark on his head.

"You know I'm quite hungry right now...how about I just eat you instead!" The Traveler says as he jumps on her pretending to hunt her down and cook her.

"Ah! Aether you are a lolicon! It's child abuse!" Paimon says as Aether gets frozen by what he just did. He slowly gets off and stands.

"I'm going for a walk in Inazuma, bye," The Traveler stated still not on his mind. "Ehe, make sure to talk to her there, don't worry, Paimon won't eavesdrop!"

Inazuma City

On the way, the Traveler did help some people with their commissions. He is wondering why the Inazuma has too many commissions.

He even helps those three visionless old men who lost their ambition and the girl to bring a letter to the man she loves. After spending half of the day finishing all thirty-two commissions he seated on one of the stairs in Inazuma city while carrying a bottle of water.

He estimated that he earned 64,658 Mora with that commission. It's thanks to how fast he moved and his knowledge from his past life that he finished it faster than expected.

"I wonder, where will I go next?" he asked himself as he stretches his arms but he hit someone instead behind him.

He turned around and apologize but get surprised when he saw Thoma. "hello there Traveler"

"...oh...hi," he awkwardly greets but Thoma just laughs it off. "Anyway Traveler. where is that flying companion of yours?" He asked as he sighs.

"Maybe she's eating at one of the encampments again. I wonder when will those guys leave the area. The mobs are already gone and I already finish the thunderstorm tree quest," he replied

"The shogun ordered them to stay there and make sure that the whole Tarazuna is under Inazuma. The truth is they are preparing to take over the whole Yashiori island knowing that 30% of the shogun army is in the Tarazuna." Thoma said as he rested his back on one of the walls.

"It will be hell for the Resistance then," the Traveler murmured. "Anyway, what's bringing you here?"

"The Yashiro commission detected that someone is clearing commissions left and right and shows no time of stopping and here when I got here it's the Traveler that I see," he sarcastically smiled and the traveler just sigh.

"Don't worry I won't take any commissions for the time being," he stated but he also knows that the mora he has is still not enough to sustain his needs for the next nation.

"Hahaha, you don't need to. The truth is Inazuma is losing adventures lately because of the Vision hunt decree. I mean the majority of them are Vision users and since it got taken, their ambitions disappear. So I'm here to thank you for what you did Traveler," he said as the Traveler formed an evil smirk.

"If you are that thankful, how about treating me with some food," The Traveler silently laughs at the process as he drinks the water he is carrying. "I see I see, how about...come with me to the Kamisato state, I'm sure lady Ayaka will be happy to see you again," he smiled as the Traveler puked some water.

"Wh-wat? Komore teahouse is fine it's near," he suggested but Thoma just laughed at everything he said. "Don't think that I will let you run away after what you did to lady Ayaka, isn't it? You need to take responsibility for what you did." Thoma evilly whispered in the Traveler's ear while the Traveler just shivered in response.

"Also, lady Ayaka wants to learn more about you" Thoma smiled as aether just cursed himself.

Komore Teahouse

The moment he steps inside with Thoma, he is surprised at what he saw. It was a flying shit-talking with a dog. None other than Paimon.

"Oh, Traveler! Ehe, you know you're taking too long so I look for you, and here I saw someone instead and she treats me to a lot of food!" Paimon happily responds.

"And who's this person you're talking about?" He asked as Paimon just smiled and headed to one of the rooms signaling both Traveler and Thoma to come in.

As soon as they come inside. Thoma greeted. "Hello, Lady Ayaka I didn't expect to see you here," Thoma greets while Ayaka smiled, suddenly her eyes looking at the traveler.

"Oh, Traveler! I'm glad you come!" Ayaka enthusiastically responded as he asked her what does she mean? Does she expect him to come?

She responded. "Paimon told me that if I wait here then the Traveler will surely come, but after waiting for three hours Paimon ask Thoma to look for you"

"I see...*look at Thoma... I thought she is the Kamisato state" whispered Thoma but he just smiled.

"Now now, sit traveler, don't worry about the fee I'll take care of everything," Thoma offered as Paimon's smile grew wider.

"REALLY!"

"Yep"

After that, Paimon ordered a bunch of food as the whole table is now occupied by it. The traveler just sighs and wonders how can she eat too much food with a small body of hers.

Outside the Komore Tea house

"Traveler, can you do me a favor?" Ayaka asked and the Traveler responded with a nod.

"Can I join you in your next commission?" She asked while sittings at the bench outside the tea house near the traveler.

"Are you sure it's dangerous," the Traveler stated because the next thing he will do is not even a commission so he won't get paid or anything but he will still do it because it's needed for the sake of Inazuma. Just like how he stopped the Thunderstorms in the Tarazuna getting nothing back.

"I'll be fine, I promise I'll not be a burden for you," she said. "you're strong so, of course, you won't, what I'm worried about is your a Royal and if you get hurt or anything I'll get punished," he said but Ayaka just laughed as she then gets sad.

"The truth is the Shogun declared me useless because of yesterday's conversation. I'm no longer a Royal, Kamisato clan already abolished me," she sadly says.

"Wait..the Shogun...Kamisato state abolishing you? What's your brother doing then?" He asked quite angrily at the same time but didn't show it.

"The shogun wanted our Visions to be confiscated so we run. Ayato protected me from getting into a fight with the Shogun but..he...I don't know. The Kamisato state ownership had already been transferred to someone else ever since my brother's defeat," she stated.

Ayaka told him about her soldiers siding with the shogun and not helping her. Out of all the people, only Thoma helps her.

"When did this happen?" Traveler asked.

"Last night two hours after you left," she replied and the Traveler stood wanting to go somewhere.

"Wait where are you going?" Ayaka shouted.

"I'm gonna saved your brother and... *He looks at Ayaka seriously...I guess it's time for me to knock some senses on the Shogun," he said surprising Ayaka.

Before Aether could go any further, Ayaka grab his arms and hold them tightly. "My brother is fine, he is currently in the hospital and his Vision is with me," she showed the Traveler another elemental Vision.

"And please don't I know you are strong but I don't think you can win against the Shogun! Paimon told me earlier...that your body is already at its limit...no matter how strong you are you'll still break," she said while looking at the ground, the Traveler sighed.

"Fine," he smiled and Ayaka let go of his arm as she apologized for what she just did befitting of royalty but she then gets reminded that she's not royalty any longer.

"Me Fighting the Shogun is none of your business thought. I'm not thinking of winning, I'm just going to knock some sense to her. Vision hunt decree, Sakoku decree, and even you and your brother becoming royalty once again. It's killing three birds with one stone. Isn't it a win for you?" The Traveler stated and Ayaka just look at the ground.

"That's true but I'm not the type who uses someone for their own goods. I... I'm worried about you," she shyly said while still looking down.

"You know we just met," Traveler awkwardly said as she blush a bit.

"No no! that's now what I mean!" She shouted and covered her mouth as the Traveler just laugh it off. "I know that, but...that day you look like an old man and then you get healed using an Unexplainable method you become young. I saw you fight and I could tell how strong you are but something is lacking," She stated and look at him seriously.

"The sharpness of your hits is more like a beginner there is no accuracy at all. While you are moving or running it looks like your body will fall at any time. I'm wondering is this the man who defeated the Mondstadt dragon and Osial?" She continued making the Traveler more shocked.

"And then I asked Paimon about it...she told me that you have a curse inside you and...if you fight any longer you'll surely meet your end!" She finished as she continued to look at the ground embarrassed at what she had just done. It's like she is not a royal at all, the way she talks. But she also knows that this is the real self that she hides for a long time.

Thoma and Paimon are silently eavesdropping at the window and because aether senses become so dull, he couldn't sense them at all.

"Ayaka, I'm thankful that you worried about me but...I guess you are mixing yourself with someone else business. As a royal you must know your boundaries," he said while looking at Ayaka who's now regretting what she just did.

"This idiot! Can't he tell she's just worried!" Paimon murmured but Thoma told her to wait for now.

"I...no...

She looks at Traveler with teary eyes. "I don't know what's happening...I don't understand...but...Is it wrong for a friend to get worried?" She shouted

"A friend..." The traveler suddenly remembered that Ayaka never had a friend so making further talk will only just hurt her. He then smiled and put his right palm on her cheeks and wipe her tears surprising the two rats.

Ayaka blushed madly. "Yeah, my bad...after all, I'm your friend so you getting worried is fine and I'm quite happy that there is someone out there other than Paimon who will get worried about someone like me." He said but Ayaka can't talk at all because of how embarrassed she is right now.

"Just kiss her dumbass!" Paimon silently said while Thoma's smiles get wider. Good thing no one can hear them and the Traveler's senses are too dull right now.

After processing what had just happened Ayaka touched the Traveler's palm on her cheeks and smiled. "thank you traveler" she smiled at him as aether didn't notice that his face is now red.

Aether then felt something strange. Just looking at her smile makes his heart pound harder and faster.
