"Traveler, hmm why are we here?" Ayaka asked while wearing the full armor that they take from the sleeping samurai. Her face and body are getting covered by it.
"We're going shopping!" Paimon shouted.
Ayaka wondered as she remembered that she doesn't have any money at all. "don't worry, we got you here," Traveler stated.
"What do you mean?" Ayaka asked not understanding the situation. "I guess Paimon understands now. A traveler wants to buy a spare of clothes for you," Paimon guessed
She murmured. "Uhmm, guys you don't need to. The clothes here are expensive and...
"Don't worry about the money, Traveler has everything in hand!" Paimon yelled excitedly.
"I promise, I'll pay you later!" Ayaka swears at the name of the Kamisato clan.
The three were amazed at how beautiful the town was. It was much livelier than Inazuma City where the Shogun reside.
"It's too bright here ..and soo much food!" Paimon yelled drolling over the food getting served at some of the food stands.
Before she even gets there Traveler grabs her. "We're not here to eat, Paimon"
"No no Please traveler at least one bite!" Paimon begged but aether just pull her away and head to the nearest shop where cheap clothes are getting sold.
"Let's see...Ayaka comes here," Traveler called Ayaka and then a heavy red samurai come.
"Hello..." Ayaka greets but the shopkeeper seems terrified. "I guess you should remove your mask," Paimon suggested as Ayaka nodded and remove it.
Traveler on the other hand is prepared for the worst-case scenario. "Ka-Kamisato-Sama!" The shopkeepers greeted them as they bowed.
Ayaka can't say a thing though.
"Uhmm ah...
"Hey, Paimon didn't expect it. I thought Ayaka is wanted, so why would you guys greet her instead?!" Paimon asked
One of the shopkeepers replied. "Yes she is, but we can't just abandon someone who helps us a lot"
"I see. I see" Paimon nods.
The shopkeeper worriedly asked
"Anyway, Kamisato-sama! what brings you here? If the Tenryou commission sees you then...
"I'm fine *look at the Traveler and Paimon* I'm in this two care," She smiled as suddenly the shop keepers' jaw dropped as they as Traveler.
"Aren't you the...
"Traveler, That's right! he is the Traveler!" Paimon shouted cutting them off and told them they are in a hurry and need to leave before those Tenryou Commission come here.
They nodded and let the three on their own. As they look at the clothes inside. Paimon wondered why it was all so expensive even though this store sold the cheapest one
"How about this" Traveler said while carrying a red kimono and he showed it to Ayaka.
She gently touches it and the silk is so smooth. The sleeves are quite long though. "It's beautiful! Ayaka how about trying it" Paimon smiled.
"Is that fine?"
The traveler nodded and guide her to the dressing room and waited outside. After several minutes, the curtain has been lifted off showing her new attire.
She embarrassingly asked. "How does it look...
Paimon doesn't know and is just blushing at how good it looks at her.
"It's beautiful," Traveler remarked making her blush "but... something is wrong" Paimon stated as Ayaka asked what was it.
"Traveler, are you planning to buy her a house attire, not a battle attire?" Paimon asked him who is smiling. "That's true these clothes are not fit for battle. I'm afraid that it will be destroyed easily...but...I like it" Ayaka said
"Are you planning to take her to the resistance while wearing that?" Paimon asked dumbly.
"Of course not"
Paimon retorted while Ayaka waited for his reply. "Then why?" Traveler looks sideways avoiding their gaze and honestly replies. "It looks cute and beautiful so I want Ayaka to try it...
Paimon looks dumb-pounded while Ayaka blushes madly and covers her face with the sleeve of her kimono. A full minute of awkwardness between the two while Paimon laughs her ass out, looking at the two who have their face tainted red.
The traveler then decided to cut the awkwardness and grab Ayaka's hand and pull her to the next set of clothes. "Here, wear it" handed her battle attire that looks the same as her old one but in a medium class.
Ayaka looks at the price tag and sweats a lot. "Uhmm
Before she could even say a thing. The Traveler grabs the attire and shows it to her. "Try it first" she nodded still her face tainted with red.
After a couple of minutes, Ayaka is seen wearing a new battle attire. The same as her old one but the medium-class materials used mean it can break easily if she doesn't take care of it properly.
"Woah! It looks the same," Paimon remarked obviously. Ayaka looks at the traveler waiting for him to say something.
"The same as before...you look so beautiful," He smiled as Ayaka sight in relief. "Let's buy it!" Paimon said cutting the awkwardness between the two.
The trio head to the counter. "Three sets of clothes is 350,000 Mora all in all"
"Wait three?" Ayaka asked as she look again and saw that two ordinary kimonos on it cost 80,000 Mora each and a battle attire cost 190,000 Mora.
Paimon just smirked. "Hehehe"
"Traveler, Please take care of Ayaka-sama," The clerks said their farewell.
The two are full of awkward thoughts while Paimon is smirking all the way. Ayaka no longer wears the Nobuyoshi armor but instead wears the kimono that the traveler bought for her.
Paimon then thinks of a plan. "Ayaka are you hungry?" She asked
She replied
"I'm not that hungry~
Her stomach growled in response as Paimon smirked. "See hehe I knew it. How about we eat, for now, Right traveler?" Paimon asked him
Traveler look at her and instead of complaining or denying it, he said yes. "But only a few okay, I don't have enough mora after all"
The two smiled as they both run to one of the stands ordering over fifty onigiris. The three then leave Ritou and head to one of the empty samurai camps and rest and eat there. Ayaka asked something.
"Traveler, why are you doing this much for me?" Ayaka asked remembering what he had done for her.
"It's nothing" he looks away but Ayaka grabs his shoulder and makes him look at her. "No, it's nothing! You help me the time when I need help, you are not a wanted man and you defied the Shoguns' order to meet you and come with me instead. You protected me the moment I'm close to my death. You even use that golden energy of yours even though it will take a toll on your body and now you wasted all your money just for me. Why are you doing this? I don't understand!" She yelled at him.
Paimon didn't expect her outburst and was so traveler. but he just smiled. The traveler looked at the sky instead and replied. "Importance, Just like how precious my sister is to me. You and Paimon are also important parts of my life. Also, I didn't waste my money. I...bought it for you... as a gift"
Traveler stuttered at the end while Ayaka's face was tainted with red again. Paimon is just eating while watching their show. It's like watching a movie with popcorn in hand.
"Gift...but.. that's too much...it cost too much," she silently said but the traveler just smiled at her.
"I know, but I really want you to wear something new. You're a royal, you are rich. You have a lot of clothes, but I know for a fact that they all look the same. So... I want you to experience something new." He honestly said at her as Ayaka smiled while blushing.
What he said is true though. Her kimono is all Pink and blue, no other color and her battle attire is all the same too. It made her happy that the traveler did things to this extent.
"It's not that high class like the things that you owned, but I hope you'll like it," he finished as he turned around looking away.
"Hehe, he" She's laughing but in a cute way. In the end, she smiled, and then suddenly she hugged him from behind.

The traveler stopped moving it Was like he is already dead. But no, he is just shocked at what just happened as Ayaka just continued hugging him while Paimon is, let's just say she dropped her plate of food and her mouth is wider than the Osials mouth.
