-CHAPTER TEN - CONFRONTATION-
-SNUFFLES' TEMPLE-
The Boltvengers and Boltians walk up the stairs to Snuffles' temple
"Stop!" The guards yell
James extends his arms and punches both the guards in the face
They make it in the temple, and they see Snuffles sitting on his throne
Snuffles laughs as he sees them approach
"James! Shay! You've survived this far!" Snuffles says
James and Shay stop walking, realizing who they are facing
Snuffles lowers his hood and removes his mask, revealing his scarred face to James, Shay and the rest of them
"Snuffles?" Shay asks
"You know this guy?" Kyle asks
"Oh, we do alright." Snuffles responds
"Go on. Tell them." Snuffles asks
Shay stands still, shocked
"Tell them how you left us for dead!" Snuffles yells
"James, Shay, who is this guy?" Kyle asks
"Tell them! Either of you!" Snuffles yells
Shay nods "Fine." She says
-1 YEAR AGO-
-PLANET ZERO-
Snuffles, James, Shay, Boarp and Alex exit the shuttle to obtain resources from Planet Zero
"We've arrived safely, HQ." James says
The team begins to take samples from the ground,
James and Snuffles rappel down to a lake, full of a green lava-like substance
James walks over to the edge of the lake, admiring the view
The lake also gains the interest of Snuffles, walking beside James
"Goddamn, that's cool." James says
"Yeah, thanks for bringing me along here, James." Snuffles says
"No problem." James responds
James crouches down and grabs some of the green substance, a massive explosion erupts from the lake
"Shit!" James yells
James and Snuffles rush to get to their rappels and begin to climb
They're about to make it to the top, when a rumble cuts Snuffles' rappel, Alex and Boarp quickly go to pull Snuffles up
James makes it to the top, and begins to assist Alex and Boarp
"I can't hold on for much longer!" Snuffles yells
"We got you, don't worry!" Alex yells
Another rumble cause Snuffles to lose grip and fall down to the bottom of the cliff, as the green substance covers his body, and muffles his screams
James, Shay, Boarp and Alex watch in horror as rocks crush Snuffles body
One final rumble causes Alex and Boarp to fall down the cliff, James tries to grab one of their arms, but Shay pulls him away before he falls off too
James and Shay run to their shuttles, as one last explosion occurs as they teleport back to Earth, and their shuttles crash as they arrive home
-PRESENT DAY-
"Thank you, Shay." Snuffles says
"How are you alive?!" Shay yells
"That substance that I fell in, it gave me this power. That's why the rocks didn't kill me, yet killed Alex and Boarp." Snuffles explains
"Why are you doing this?" Twowphee asks
"I want revenge for Alex and Boarp." Snuffles explains
"You want us dead for an accident?" James asks
"I don't care if it was an accident! They're dead!" Snuffles yells
"You caused the deaths of your best friends!" Snuffles yells
"You're doing all this, because of revenge?" Kyle asks
"I will do whatever it takes to get my revenge on them." Snuffles explains
Snuffles re-equips his mask and raises his hood
Snuffles charges at James, throwing a punch, but the attack gets blocked by Kyle's shield
James extends his fist, punching Snuffles in the face
"It was an accident, Snuffles! Calm down and fix this!" James yells
"You want me to calm down?!" Snuffles yells
"I'll calm down when the both of you are fucking dead!" Snuffles yells
Snuffles fires laser at them, Grim jumps in front with Kyle to block the laser
"Do your thing, Shay." Twowphee whispers
"Right." Shay responds, turning invisible
Shay quietly walks behind Snuffles, preparing to take him down
As Shay goes to attack, Snuffles turns his head, and stops firing his lasers to kick Shay in her stomach, knocking her into his throne
Snuffles approaches Shay, fists glowing
Snuffles goes to punch Shay, when James rushes over
"Snuffles, wait…" James says
Snuffles stops, but doesn't respond, He turns his head to look at James
"If you're gonna kill one of us, don't make it her." James asks
Snuffles takes a moment to decide, ultimately deciding to attack James
Snuffles goes to punch James, but his punch is blocked by Grim
"Go." Grim says, nodding his head towards Shay
James rushes over to Shay, as the rest prepare to fight Snuffles
Kyle throws his shield at Snuffles, giving Grim time to charge a repulsor blast, and he fires it at Snuffles
Kamala forms platforms to run on, running above Snuffles, forming a giant fist, punching Snuffles
Snuffles punches Kamala's fist, shattering it to pieces
Pat entangles Snuffles in branches, but Snuffles easily breaks free
Aya and Twowphee fire webs at Snuffles, hoping to get him stuck, but it fails and he breaks free
Adam fires his blasters at Snuffles, but they do nothing against his armor
All of them stop, while Snuffles still stands, not affected by anything
"Is that all?" Snuffles asks
Erin taps Adam's shoulder, pointing to the gravity mines on his hip
Adam grabs one of them, throwing it at Snuffles' face
Snuffles catches the gravity mine
"I would recommend we move." Adam suggests
Everyone runs, except Snuffles, who throws the gravity mine right as Adam activates it
The gravity mine lands on the floor, and drags Snuffles towards it
Although he gets dragged towards it, he still manages to resist the force
Outside, the heroes think about what to do
"We can't do shit to him!" Adam says
Then, Kyle realizes something
"They're still inside." Kyle says
Kyle rushes back inside the temple
Snuffles approaches James and Shay
"I would've waited an eternity for this. It's over you two." Snuffles says
Kyle throws his shield at Snuffles
"Let them go!" Kyle yells
Shay takes this opportunity to trap Snuffles in a forcefield, allowing them to run away from the temple
The forcefield around Snuffles disappears, and he runs outside to chase them, finding them nowhere to be seen
Snuffles kneels on the ground, punching the ground
"The both of you are fucking useless!" Snuffles yells at the guards
"There were too many of th-" A guard responds, getting his head blown up by a laser fired by Snuffles
Snuffles stand back up and approaches the last guard
"Next time they are here, are you going to do your GODDAMN JOB!?" Snuffles yells
"Yes, sir." The guard responds
"You fucking better, or you'll END UP LIKE HIM!" Snuffles yells
Snuffles enters his temple again, as he awaits their return
