-CHAPTER THIRTEEN - THE LOCALS-
-SNUFFLES' TEMPLE-
A caped person silently takes down the guards outside Snuffles' temple
They climb up the building, hiding in the shadows
They perch on the side of the wall, still hidden in shadows
They take out their moon-shaped weapon, preparing to throw it at Snuffles
"Tell me when." A voice says
"On my mark.." The caped person says
"3.. 2.. 1.." The caped person says, throwing his weapon at Snuffles
A small disc is thrown at the moon-shaped weapon, enlarging it, trapping Snuffles on his throne
The caped figure lets go and lands on the ground, exposing himself to the light, allowing Snuffles to see him
"What? You think this is going to stop me?" Snuffles asks
"It won't keep you there forever, but long enough for us." Moon Knight explains
"Oh, you brought friends. I see." Snuffles says
"I wouldn't say friends, I just met them." Moon Knight explains
Ant-Man, Wasp and Stature enlarge and stand beside him
"Good throw, Marc!" Ant-Man says, holding his hand out for a high five
"Let's just end this and we can go home." Marc says
Marc grabs two more crescent darts, throwing them at Snuffles' wrist, trapping his hands
"I'm telling you right now, Marc. These aren't stopping me." Snuffles explains
"Shut up." Marc says
He grabs two more crescent darts and throws them at Snuffles' legs, completely trapping Snuffles onto his throne
"Fine." Snuffles responds
Marc grabs a crescent dart and prepares to kill Snuffles
He puts the crescent dart against Snuffles' neck, when Snuffles fires lasers from his hands, hitting Ant-Man, Wasp and Stature, knocking them down
Snuffles breaks free, headbutting Marc
Marc slashes at Snuffles, who grabs his arm and knees him in the stomach, and then repeatedly punches him in the chest
Snuffles grabs Marc's crescent dart and knocks him to the ground
Snuffles grabs Marc by the foot, lifting him up and slamming him into the ground, proceeding to stomp on his head while he's on the ground
Snuffles tries to stab Marc's throat using his own crescent dart, when suddenly, Marc's suit changes into a white tuxedo, as he switches to his Steven Grant identity
Steven pulls out one of his truncheons, blocking the crescent dart
Utilizing the truncheons grappling hook, he wraps it around the crescent dart and takes it from Snuffles
Steven kicks Snuffles off him, and he stands back up
The truncheons grappling hook reels back in, as Steven prepares to face Snuffles
Snuffles gets back up, and runs at Steven, tackling him to the ground
Snuffles begins to choke Steven, lifting him up against the wall
"You think you can just get a fancy new suit and beat me? No!" Snuffles says
"I'm.. running outta' time, Marc!" Steven says, slowly losing his breath
Steven leaves the body, allowing Marc to take over as the suit changes to a new black and white suit
"Welcome back.." Snuffles says
"...Marc?" Snuffles asks
Marc hasn't taken control, surprising Snuffles
"Ahh, a secret third identity! I see!" Snuffles says
Ant-Man sneaks up behind Snuffles, taking off his mask, giving Moon Knight time to slash at his face, making him let go
Moon Knight kicks Snuffles into a pillar and tries to use the crescent dart to finally end Snuffles, but the face slash enrages Snuffles
Snuffles screams as he fires lasers at Moon Knight, knocking him into the wall
He keeps going as he stands up and approaches Moon Knight, proceeding to stomp on his head multiple times
"Behind you." Moon Knight says, in Spanish
Ant-Man approaches Snuffles from behind, using Steven's truncheon grappling hook to strangle Snuffles
Wasp, while shrunken down punches Snuffles to the ground
After a moment, Snuffles is knocked unconscious
Wasp enlarges to her normal size, checking on Moon Knight
"Marc? You alright?" Wasp asks
"I'm not Marc." Moon Knight says, in Spanish
The unknown identity gives control back to Marc as his suit changes
"You alright?" Wasp asks
Marc places a hand on his head
"What.. happened..?" Marc asks, weakly
"You got beaten, really, really bad." Wasp explains
"Take me to Brian.." Marc asks, weakly
"Scott, Cassie, look after him. I'll find Brian." Wasp explains
Wasp shrinks down as he flies off to find Brian
"Hope! Wait-" Scott yells
Scott and Cassie look back at Marc, badly injured
"We gotta get him out of here." Scott says
"I'll help you." Cassie says
They approach Marc, and they pick him up, putting his arms over their shoulders and walking him out
Marc notices Snuffles' body
"Is he.." Marc says
"We think so." Scott says
"Good… good." Marc responds
The three of them all exit Snuffles' temple, as they wait for Brian and Hope
