-CHAPTER EIGHTEEN - BATTLE FOR THE MULTIVERSE-
Twowphee venom dashes at Snuffles, Snuffles grabs him and throws him into a tree behind him
Kyle throws his shield at Snuffles, he grabs it and throws it back at Kyle, knocking him into the group
Shay surrounds Snuffles tightly in a forcefield
James enlarges his fists, Shay removes the forcefield, and James claps Snuffles between his hands
Snuffles punches James hand, grabbing his other arm, and slamming him into the ground
Snuffles pulls James towards him, and grabs him by the throat
Scott, Hope and Cassie punch Snuffles in the head, making him drop James
Snuffles grabs Scott by the arm, knocking him to the ground
Snuffles punches Scott in the face, repeatedly, destroying his helmet
Marc punches Snuffles in the face, then kicks him in the chest
Marc quickly pulls out a crescent dart, and stabs at Snuffles, his hand gets grabbed by Snuffles
Snuffles knees Marc in the stomach, grabs his crescent dart and stabs him in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground
Nova flies into the air, firing lasers at Snuffles
Snuffles blocks the lasers with his hand, then leaps up at Nova
He grabs Nova, throwing him into the ground and stomping on his chest
Miles runs over to Twowphee and helps him up off the floor
"I got an idea, Twowphee." Miles explains
"You think it'll at least injure him?" Twowphee asks
"Maybe..?" Miles responds
"That isn't a no, so we'll give it a try." Twowphee explains
Miles venom jumps into the air, he thwips a web down to Twowphee, who grabs it, allowing Miles to throw him into the air
Twowphee thwips a web to Miles, he grabs it and is thrown towards the ground, landing on Snuffles
Miles activates a mega venom blast on top on Snuffles
Twowphee webs the ground, and pulls himself down onto Snuffles, activating his mega venom blast
Miles and Twowphee get off Snuffles, who takes a deep breath, before standing up
Snuffles chuckles
"You're finally getting somewhere!" Snuffles says
"It'll still take more than that to defeat me." Snuffles explains
Snuffles charges up and fires lasers towards the group, knocking them far back
Then, the world around them begins to shift between different universes as the multiverse begins to collapse
"Strange, do you think you'll be able to reverse time to bring back the Nexus and stop all of this?" Kyle asks
"I might be able to, I'll try it." Strange explains
"Protect me." Strange asks
Strange rushes to the lake, opening the Eye of Agamotto, revealing his Time Stone and begins to reverse time
"It won't be that simple, Strange!" Snuffles yells
Kyle rushes at Snuffles, uppercutting him with his shield
Kyle throws his shield at Snuffles
Kyle opens his wings and uses his jetpack to leap into the air, spinning around and hitting Snuffles with his wings, kicking him down as he lands back on the ground
Kyle moves out of the way as Grim fires a repulsor blast at Snuffles
Snuffles looks in the distance, he sees the Nexus of All Realities slowly come back together
"No.." Snuffles says
Snuffles jumps back up, running full speed towards Strange, charging up an attack
"Strange!" Miguel yells
Miguel rushes to tackle Snuffles, and succeeds, but as soon as he came into contact with Snuffles, he discharged his energy and a massive explosion ensued, destroying the surrounding forest
Snuffles slowly stands up, he looks around and finds the Nexus repaired
He punches the ground, cracking it
He gets up, and walks over to Strange, picking him up from the neck
Snuffles charges a punch
Miguel looks over
"Wait!" Miguel yells
Strange regains consciousness
"Please, let him live! Kill me instead!" Miguel pleads
"You'll get your time, don't worry." Snuffles explains
Snuffles raises his hand to kill Strange, but is interrupted by a noise in the distance
He looks past Strange's head, noticing a sonic boom in the distance
A figure flies over them, the figure drops someone and lands behinds Snuffles
The flying figure lands behind Snuffles
One of them picks up Kyle's shield and walks over to him, passing it to him
"Come on, we have a fight to win." They says
Kyle looks up to find Abe handing Kyle his shield, standing alongside PaperPlane
"I should have known you two would show up!" Kyle says
Abe hands Kyle his shield, and holds out his hand, helping Kyle up
"I mean we didn't plan to, but we heard the commotion and decided to check it out." PaperPlane explains
"What? You just think you two can show up from the grave and expect to win?" Snuffles asks
Snuffles tosses Strange aside and faces them
"Oh, it's not just us." Plane explains
Snuffles looks behind him, noticing an army approaching
"you have got to be kidding me.." Snuffles says
He looks back at Kyle, Abe and Plane
"If I have to kill every single one of you to kill James, Shay and Joy, I will!" Snuffles yells
Snuffles dashes at Abe, swinging at him
Abe blocks the attack with his shield, moving it out of the way and punches Snuffles in the head
Snuffles fires an energy blast at Abe, kicking him in the chest
Plane fires a repulsor blast at Snuffles and begins to fly, bringing down a punch on Snuffles
Plane uses his suits nanotech to materialize a sword on his arm, stabbing Snuffles in the shoulder, making him yell out in pain
"I can take more than that, PP!" Snuffles says
Snuffles headbutts Plane, breaking the sword off
He attempts to stab Plane, but Plane blocks the attack with his arms
Plane charges up his unibeam, and fires it at Snuffles, knocking him back
Miguel jumps on Snuffles, getting him in a headlock
Plane punches Snuffles repeatedly, damaging Snuffles' mask
Snuffles headbutts Miguel, grabbing his arm and throwing him over his shoulder into Plane
Suddenly, Snuffles is grabbed by a red energy, as a blue laser is fired at him
Jenny and Jimi land behind Snuffles, Jenny turns Snuffles around to face them
Snuffles screams in pain, as Jimi continues to fire his laser at him
Jenny puts her arm in front of Jimi, making him stop
"Ow.. that one hurt." Snuffles says
"Why have you brought us here?" Jenny asks
"I have explained it enough times! I am not fucking explaining it again!" Snuffles yells
Jenny glances over at Jimi, he activates his laser again
Jenny slams Snuffles into the ground, letting him go
Jimi approaches Snuffles, still firing his laser
Snuffles fires an energy blast at Jimi, knocking him back
Snuffles fires another energy blast at Jenny
Jenny fires an energy blast back at Snuffles, knocking him down
"Snuffles!" A voice yells from behind him
A fire ball is thrown at Jenny, knocking her over
A man covered in fire lands behind Snuffles, alongside a man made of rock
Everyone stops as they realize who they are
Snuffles stands up
"Alex? Boarp?" Snuffles asks
"It's us, what is happening?" Alex asks
"Alex, wait, let us explain." Shay asks
"Shay.. you're alive?" Alex asks
"Alex, Boarp, listen.." Shay says
"We aren't from your universe.. He isn't either." Shay explains
"He wants me, James and Joy dead!" Shay explains
Alex and Boarp are shocked to learn the information
"Snuffles.. Why?" Boarp asks
"They left us for dead!" Snuffles yells
"You both died in my universe, I lived. They never came back for us." Snuffles explains
"Was it an accident?" Boarp asks
Shay nods
"You want to kill them, because of an accident?" Alex asks
"Yes, I do." Snuffles explains
Alex and Boarp look at each other
"We aren't going to help you, Snuffles. We're sorry." Alex explains
They walk past Snuffles and join the Boltvengers
"Alex.. Boarp.. please.." Snuffles says
"I don't want to kill you two as well." Snuffles explains
"We don't agree with this, Snuffles. I'm sorry." Boarp explains
Snuffles sighs
Snuffles turns around, he screams as he fires a massive laser beam at the Boltvengers
Kyle leaps in front, blocking the beam
Kyle begins to be pushed back, but he pushes onward against the beam as his shield begins to break
"Go! I won't be able to hold this for much longer!" Kyle says
"Flame on!" Alex says, flying into the air and firing a beam of fire at Snuffles
Boarp leaps over Kyle and the beam, right into Snuffles, smashing into him, ending the beam
Boarp slams his fists into Snuffles repeatedly, punching him in the side of the head, knocking his mask off
Boarp continues to slam his fists into Snuffles face, bloodying it
Alex lands beside Boarp, grabbing his shoulder, making him stop
They look at Snuffles' bloodied face, as his breathing begins to slow down
James and Shay rush to be by Snuffles' side
"Snuffles..?" Alex asks
"Thank you.." Snuffles says, weakly
"What do you mean?" Boarp asks
Snuffles chuckles
"I'll finally be able to see you two alive again." Snuffles explains
"I know we're enemies right now, but can I ask a favor?" James asks
"Go ahead.." Snuffles says
"Tell Alex and Boarp we said hello." James asks
"I will.." Snuffles says
"I promise." Snuffles explains
Snuffles' eyes close, and he stops breathing
His glowing white cloak turns back to it's normal green color
James and Shay hug each other as they mourn the loss of their friend
Alex and Boarp join in their hug
Battleworld begins to shake and crumble, as it has no ruler
"We miss you guys." James says
"We miss you too." Alex responds
Kyle walks over to the remaining Illuminati members
"Thanks for your help." Kyle says
"No need to thank us, Kyle." Miguel says
"It's our job." Reed says
"This is exactly what I created the Illuminati for, and it's worked." Miguel explains
Kyle looks around as Battleworld begins to slowly fall apart
"I'll see you whenever the multiverse needs fixing again." Kyle says
"Sure thing, Kyle." Miguel says
The Illuminati wave, as they fade away
Jack and Ted walk over to Kyle
"Sorry that we missed out." Jack says
"Hey, to be fair you went up against one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse, don't be sorry." Kyle explains
"Plus you weren't able to do your thing." Kyle explains
"Honestly, I'm sorry but I'm glad that it didn't happen." Kamala says
"That would have been terrifying." Kamala explains
"We're from the same universe, aren't we?" Jack asks
Kamala's eyes widen in fear
"Oh no.." Kamala says
Marc, Scott, Hope and Cassie walk over to Kyle
"Nice work, Captain America!" Scott says
"Thanks!" Kyle says
"I'll be sure to tell our Captain America about you." Scott says
"Oh, I've met him already." Kyle explains
"What about the old one?" Scott asks
"I don't think I've met him." Kyle explains
"Isn't he on the moon, Dad?" Cassie asks
"Oh, crap, you're right.." Scott responds
Marc transfers control to Steven
"Hey, mate, I'll see you next time something like this happens." Steven explains
"For sure, Steven." Kyle responds
The Boltians walk to Kyle
"So, I'm guessing you're officially done with the Boltvengers now?" Adam asks
Kyle sighs
"I don't know." Kyle explains
Joy and Sly walk over to Kyle
"I've got an idea, Kyle." Joy explains
"I've pitched it to others and they've all agreed." Joy explains
"It doesn't require going out and saving the day." Joy explains
As she says that, Battleworld begins to crumble as everyone from an alternate universe fades away in a glow
-NEW YORK, EARTH-1305-
"Is this the right universe?" Kyle asks
"Seems to be." Brian explains
"Anyways, Joy, continue." Kyle says
"Since you're tired of being a leader of the Boltvengers, B.O.L.T. came up with an idea.." Joy explains
"We need a leader for it, so we thought you would be the perfect person to do it." Joy explains
"What is it?" Kyle asks
"Meet me and Sly and B.O.L.T. headquarters tomorrow with everyone and we'll explain further." Joy asks
"Okay..?" Kyle says
