"Nami?"
His breath brushed passed her ear, casting a light shiver down her spine as she buried herself deeper into his embrace. "Hmm?"
Rubbery appendages tightened their hold around her waist as he shifted upon the bed slightly. "I have a question …"
Chancing a glance, the navigator opened one wary eye as she gazed at her bed mate. For reasons that she could not fathom, the girl could see uncertainty shining within his cobalt orbs. One of his hands broke their hold around her before starting to trail lightly over her lush figure and elicited a mirthful chuckle at the goose bumps that had risen within her arms.
"Would you ever date Sanji?"
Although his ministrations didn't stop, her reactions did. She had stiffened within Luffy's warm embrace and had actually pushed him away slightly. "Wh-what!" Came her unsteady response. Officially woken up from her stupor, the tangerine haired girl looked up once more into his questioning gaze. "Why would you ask me that, Luffy?"
The only real answer she got was a furrowing of eyebrows before he spoke once again.
"What about Zoro?"
Okay now he had officially lost her. Luffy seemed to be gauging her reaction of a completely blank face as her mouth dropped open in shock. "Huh?"
"Usopp then?"
At this point, Nami had quite enough of his incessant questioning, and before he could open his mouth once again the young navigator quickly placed her palm over it. A scowl crossed her face as she slowly dropped her hand from its position. "Your being an idiot …" she answered as she stared into his empty gaze.
"Have you ever seen me smoking Sanji's cigarettes?"
The boy shook his head. No.
"And have I ever held Zoro's swords?"
Once again he shook his head.
"Or used Usopp's slingshot?"
Not waiting for an answer, Nami pushed her upper body off the bed and reached for something on the drawer next to her, picking up the old worn Straw Hat that had been resting on top of the wooden surface. Then sitting up straight upon the bed she let the blanket fall from her figure exposing the small nightgown that had been hidden underneath. Then she plopped the hat onto her orange locks as she glanced over to her captain. "The only one I share treasure with is you"
At first Luffy had merely blinked in confusion, then as realization sunk in the rubber man let out a snicker as he pulled the poor girl back underneath the sheets.
Nami had only let out a small squeak as his limbs entangled themselves with hers. His mood only seemed to lighten as he exclaimed. "You are my treasure Nami!"
Hidden between those words laid something both Nami and Luffy understood.
"And only mine…"
