Dianna's Babies
Chapter 2

We were in the van. Chord sitting next to me as I squeezed his hand in pain from every contraction. Cory driving and Mark in the front seat next to him.
''I have to push!'' I screamed, trying to push but Chord stopped me.
''No Dianna, please don't push, we have to wait until we get to a hospital'' said Chord, looking at me as I tried to push. But I couldn't hold it much longer, the fluids of my first baby's crown was staining my dress.
''No! I can't hold it anymore!'' I cried out in pain, these contractions seem to be on top of each other now.
''Just let her push, Chord! We're still a while from the hospital!'' said Mark as he looked down at the map.
''Stop the van!'' said Chord as Cory hit the brakes and pulled the van over to the side of the road. I looked at my husband, trying to figure out what he was doing... OW! Stupid contractions!
''Babe, what are you doing?'' I asked as another contraction hit, making tears well up in my eyes from the pain.
''Don't worry sweetie, I'll deliver our children'' said Chord as he undid his seatbelt and knelt down on the floor of the van infront of me.
''No you're not delivering our daughters! I'm having these things in a damn...'' I stopped my sentence with a push.
''Okay babe, just lean over here and push as hard as you can'' said Chord as I leaned to one side and pushed. After about an hour of pushing, my first baby's cry filled the van, Lea was on the phone to the hospital, telling them that I had given birth to the first baby of the triplets and told them it was a girl. The nurse asked what her name was, Lea looked at me.
''Summer'' I said as I tried to relax but I was soon back to pushing.
''Her name's Summer, Dianna's about to push again'' said Lea as she looked at Chord.
''She's ready'' said Chord as I squeezed my eyes shut and gave in to the sudden urge to push.
