A/N: Sadly, we're coming to the end of this story. This is the last chapter and I'm sorry that I'm ending this story but I'm running out of ideas and there are other stories I want to post and do because if I don't I will lose interest in them. Again, I'm sorry but I hoped you enjoyed this story but at least it got to 118 reviews.
Young Babies Chapter 15: Back to Normal and Photos
Third Person's P.O.V.
Everybody was at Wayne Manor when the call was made down in the Bat Cave. Bruce headed down and pressed the answer button. Dr. Fate's face, uh, mask appeared on the screen.
"Have you found anything to change them back?" Bruce asked when everybody else got down there.
"Yes, it is an old spell but is guaranteed to work. Meet me at Mt. Justice now," Dr. Fate said and hung up.
"Let's go," Bruce said.
Everybody went through the zeta tubes and came into the living room type area that was littered with baby things. Everybody then headed off to where the training pad was to find Dr. Fate drawing each of Young Justice's markings on the ground in a circle.
"Place each member on their symbol, cover them with a towel, and then back away. I will be in the performing the spell and do not interfere."
"Will they remember anything from when they were babies?" Bruce asked as he sat Dick on his symbol.
"I do not know for I have not tried this spell before and because it is an old spell, results on how they remember could change each time you use it," Dr. Fate explained as he went to the middle of the circle," Now, move back."
The mentors moved back and Dr. Fate stepped into the middle of the circle. The sorcerer began to chant strange words and float in the air. The circle began to glow a golden color and the babies began to float in the air too. The chants got louder and the glow got brighter until the Leaguers had to look away or shield their eyes. The light suddenly vanished and in its place were the kids back to their normal age and Dr. Fate kneeling in the middle.
"Ugh, my head," Wally rubbed his head," Wait, we're back to normal!"
"And naked," Artemis said, wrapping the towel tighter around herself.
"Can we go get some clothes please?" Kaldur asked.
"You may," Bruce said and everybody headed off except for M'gann who just shape shifted on her normal outfit.
"Are you alright Dr. Fate?" M'gann asked as she helped him up.
"Yes, it is just an old spell so it will drain any energy really fast," Dr. Fate explained.
The other team members came back from their rooms, everybody with happy looks.
"It feels good now that I can do cartwheels," Dick said and did four cartwheels in a row.
"And now I can talk normally," Wally said.
"I can shoot my bow again," Artemis said and strung an arrow then shot it at a practice target in the corner.
"Weird thing is, I remember all of it. Do you guys?" Conner asked.
Everybody agreed with him as they walked over to their mentors.
"How do you feel?" Dinah asked.
"We all feel totally fine except that we are kind of used to being younger," Kaldur explained.
"That is normal," Dr. Fate said.
"Are there any side effects we should know about?" Diana asked.
"They may have urges to act like a child of the age they used to be or just might full on act like one. This should only last about a week until everything goes back to being completely normal."
"Good to know, now how about we show them some embarrassing pictures!" Barry said and zoomed off to the living room.
"Yay, we're gonna relive the totally embarrassing moments of when we were babies," Roy said in a sarcastic tone.
Everybody gathered around Barry who held all the printed photos over the period of time they had been younger (A/N: I don't know how long I had them as babies and toddlers.).
"The first picture is Dick giving Zatanna that purple rose. Aw, ain't that sweet? Then here's all of you guys asleep on the bio-ship floor after the shopping trip, now here's Wally and Dick hugging after making up, here's Bruce and Diana making out after that."
"And how you were being so immature during that. I wonder how you react when you and Iris make out," Diana remembered.
"He acts like he's from some romance movie," Wally said and everybody gave them weird looks," What? When I stay there, I can hear them making out through the walls."
"Anyway, here's Dick when he jumped into Jason's arms, Cass tickling Dick, Steph and Tim having their love bird fight, Tim and Steph blushing, and Dick and Zatanna blushing. By the way, are Tim and Steph together yet? 'Cause if they do I came up with a great couple name, Sim," Barry said.
"No, but Barbara and Cass are pressuring him to ask her on a date so he'll eventually give. Sim does have a nice ring to it," Dick explained.
"Now for the Thanksgiving pictures. We have everybody talking in the living room, the women cooking in the kitchen, the women cooing over Zatanna and Dick, me catching Dick and Zatanna which I call amazing, Clark saying grace, Wally, well, being Wally while becoming a mess while eating his food…"
"I'm not messy all the time!" Wally exclaimed.
"Yes you are Baywatch," Artemis said and everybody laughed.
"Ollie being hit in the face with mash potatoes, Dick's face when Bruce was trying to feed him yams, Bruce bribing Dick…"
"Which he will stop doing because it is not good for him," Diana said and looked at the millionaire playboy.
"Bruce holding Zatanna for the first time, Paula threatening me and Rudy about if Wally hurts Artemis she'll get us first, Clark holding Conner which I gotta say is the sweetest father son moment I've ever seen, a picture of the boys trying to wake Wally up that Bruce got from his security camera, Wally landing on the floor after being pushed off by Roy and Dick laughing hysterically, Om Nom attaching himself to Bruce's face which is one of the funniest things I've seen, Dick holding Om Nom, Dick pleading to keep Om Nom which is also one of the cutest things I've see…"
"Leave Dick to looking irresistibly cute to get what he wants," Wally said.
"Roy about to throw a snowball at Wally but he could've moved out of the way fast enough, us building our amazing fort…"
"But ours was better," Artemis said," and we beat you guys."
"Anyway, our forts, me capturing Wally, everybody eating lunch during the break, me taking pictures of where we were held as captives, the winning team celebrating, everybody getting Easter presents, everybody in bunny suits, the kids fighting with us…"
"And how many pictures did you take of them fighting?" Dinah asked," There are a lot of them."
"Don't know, I never counted, anyway, Wally in his cowboy costume, Artemis in her plant princess costume, Conner in a tux, Kaldur in a merman costume, Dick in his monkey costume, Roy as Robin Hood, M'gann and Raquel as princesses, and Zatanna in her purple fairy costume, all of us trying to calm you guys down, Diana singing the lullaby, and then you guys getting turned back to normal," Barry finished, placing the last picture down on the table.
"Now I have the lullaby stuck in my head," Conner said and everybody agreed.
"I'm tiwed," Wally said and lay down on the couch.
The teens agreed and all of them found a spot on the floor or the couch and went to sleep.
"There's that side effect Dr. Fate was talking about," Clark said.
"Let's just leave them alone for a while," Diana said.
They all began to leave but Barry snapped one last picture of them and smiled at it on the screen then left.
Epilogue:
The side effects eventually went away, every parent that had gone to Thanksgiving was shown the pictures and it was what they talked about for weeks, the Team went back to school and they told everybody they went to boarding schools for a couple months for many reasons.
"Team, report to the Mission Room," Batman's voice came over the speakers.
"Yes, a mission!" Wally said excitedly and sped off to the Mission Room.
Overall, everything went back to normal, well, normal for the Young Justice Team.
