Broken Hearts Combined Chapter 4: Coming to an Understanding. And the Great Mall Battle!
It's late at night in at Yokohama. A private plan lands in an airfield. One of the airport attendants gets to it. An African-American steps out of the plane.
Man: HOOWEE! It feels good to be out of there. I was getting cramped.
A bald woman then steps out of the plane after him
Woman: I'll second that Ionis.
Ionis: Heh. You would. How'd it feel having to sit on Daishi's lap for the whole flight Zelda?
Zelda: Aw, shut up you jerk!
Airport attendant: Excuse me
Zelda Ionis (Turn on the man): WHAT!?
Airport attendant (Sweats): Um You weren't supposed to land here
Ionis: Oh?
Airport attendant: You didn't get clearance from the tower.
Male voice: Yes we did I have the clearance right here
The airport attendant turns to see a man dressed a lot like a ninja. He begins to sweat lightly
Airport attendant: Oh? May I see it?
Ninja: Sure
The ninja then pulls back his fist and then moves it forward with lighting speed, punching the airport attendant in the face, and making the poor guy fly ten ft. back. Ionis and Zelda watch in fascination.
Zelda: Nice work Daishi
Daishi: Indeed For I am the "Great Death"! No man can escape my wrath And neither can any werecheetah
Zelda: HEY! I'll take care of the stinkin' werecheetah! I owe that bitch for the last time we fought! SHE'S MINE!
Daishi: Humph Very well I'll let you try to get the needed sample first If you should fail, I shall go and take action and get Master Talon what he wants.
Zelda (Narrows eyes in anger): I WON'T LOSE!
Ionis: Uh, guys, maybe we should get going now? It may take us a long while to find her.
Daishi (Nods his head): I agree. But first we should move the plane so it does not get destroyed on us.
Ionis: Good idea.
And so, Daishi and Zelda move the plane to the side of the field. Ionis then uses an invisibility spell to hide it from sight. With that done, the three then head off towards Tokyo to find the werecheetah
Ionis: Where should we check first?
Daishi: It's quite obvious. I can think of one place she'll definitely show up.
Zelda: Oh? And what would that be?
Daishi (Snickers): Why, the nearest mall of course!
It is now morning in Tokyo. Ranma wakes slowly from the tireless sleep he got. He felt so bad about how Britanny felt last night. But, he is glad that he was able to comfort her. He lies in bed, just trying to enjoy the peace Then Ranma realizes two things
One, he is in bed with Britanny
And two, he hears a 'purring' sound Like
Ranma (Wide-eyed, thinks): CATS!
Ranma's eyes are now wide opened and he looks around the room for the possible feline threat. He doesn't see anything
Ranma (Relaxes slightly): Okay I don't see any c, c, furry things, but I feel there's still one here I can hear it!
Ranma then looks at his chest to and sees a smiling Britanny still sleeping in his arms, nuzzling to his chest However She is now VERY cat-like in appearance. She has white and yellowish orange fur with brown spots covering her body, two black stripes of fur on her eyes; she has grown in height, (now 7 ft.) her chest is larger, her muscle mass increased, but still giving her a feminine look, and She has her tail wrapped around his waist
Ranma can only do one thing
Ranma (Eyes wide with horror): C, c, c, c, c, CAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
Ranma jumps away from the bed, causing the top part of Britanny's body to fall onto the bed. Britanny awakens with a start.
Britanny: HUH!? WHAT THE HECK!
Britanny, now fully awake looks around to see a scared-stiff Ranma inching towards the door. Britanny's shocked that Ranma's acting like this, and then she looks at her hands and realizes she's in her hybrid form.
Britanny (Looking at her hands): Oh hell
Ranma (Wide-eyed): C, c, CAT!
After cursing her luck, Britanny then changes back to her human form, and looks at the still trembling Ranma. Britanny then talks to Ranma with a shaky voice.
Britanny: Ranma I know this will be hard for you to understand, but I am a werecheetah
Ranma (Calms down slightly): A w, werecheetah?
Britanny (Tears well in her eyes): If you really are afraid of me, you can leave. I know you won't want anything to do with a werebeast (Turns around). Good-bye Ranchan
Ranma wants to leave, afraid not because of her, but The memories of the Neko-Ken training keep popping into his mind when she was in her hybrid form. He tries to will his body to leave when he sees the tears fall Britanny's eyes. Ranma then realizes something
Ranma (Thinks): I'm I'm making her cry
Ranma is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He is afraid, but he doesn't want to hurt Britanny's feelings. Like him, she's been hurt as well, and she needs a friend, not scorn. So Ranma tries to calm himself as best as he can, thinking of what he wants to tell her so he doesn't screw it up. Ranma then walks up to Britanny.
Ranma (Puts his hand on Britanny's shoulder): Britchan
Britanny (Shaky voice): Yes?
Ranma: I, I'm sorry. I do care for you, but what my father did to me made me afraid of what you looked like in 'that' form.
Britanny looks up at him, and Ranma gives her a shaky smiles. Britanny then gives Ranma an Amazon-like glomp, hugging onto him for dear life and thanking him for not leaving.
Britanny (Glomping Ranma): THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR STAYING RANCHAN!
Ranma smiles a bit more easily. He feels slightly better when she's in her human form. It's just that When she looked cat-like, it just scared the hell out of him Britanny then does something surprising to Ranma. She kisses him on the lips.
Ranma (Confused): Br, Britchan?
Britanny (Hugs Ranma tightly): Thanks for not leaving me
Ranma hugs Britanny back. Surprisingly, he finds himself enjoying the contact with Britanny. They stay like that for sometime, enjoying the feeling in being in each other's arms
It is now afternoon. To repay Ranma for his kindness to her last night, when her fears about Stripe had come to a boiling point, Britanny takes Ranma out to do You guessed it More shopping! (Too bad all Ranma wants to do is train). After traveling through a mall for a bit, Ranma feels the aura of two people that are slightly more powerful then those around them. However, in the direction it's coming from he sees THREE people, a bald woman in a green skintight outfit, a man of African descent in a weird purple coat, and blue outfit, and a man that appears to be a ninja. Ranma can tell that the one person is DEFINITELY a ninja. (He's hiding his aura, and the fact he's wearing a ninja outfit doesn't hurt either).
Ranma (Points out the three): Hey Britchan! Look over there.
Britanny: Huh? (Sees the three and grits her teeth). Crap! What're they doing here?
Ranma (Confused): Is something wrong Britchan?
Britanny doesn't say anything. She just grabs Ranma and drags him off to the side, out of view of the three and tells him those three people he saw are.
Britanny: Listen to me Ranma. Those three are some jerks from back home that try to cause trouble for my sisters and me. They are Daishi the ninja, Zelda the fighter, and Ionis the Psionist Mage.
Ranma (Eyes widen): Geez Britchan! How'd you get to know these people?
Britanny: As I said before, They're some pains-in-the-ass from back home that work for a little brat named Pee Wee.
Ranma is about to comment on this when the ninja he saw suddenly appears behind them.
Daishi: Hello werecheetah It has been quite a long while since we have last fought. (Gets into fighting stance). Are you ready?
Britanny wants to fight, but she doesn't want to use her hybrid form in such a public place. It will attract too much attention and scare Ranma into a quivering mess of fear. Ranma however, steps in front of her.
Ranma: Listen you! I don't know who you are
Daishi (Interrupts): I am Daishi The Great Death!
Ranma (Blinks): Okay Whatever . Anyway, I won't allow anyone to hurt my best friend Brichan! If you want her (Gets into his fighting stance). Then you're going to have to go through me! GOT IT?
Daishi stands there. He is slightly impressed by his present challenger. The boy's aura is definitely toned to one of a fighter's, and seems to have an aspect he has never seen before to it. Should be interesting to say the least.
Britanny: RANCHAN! WHAT'RE YOU DOING!?
Ranma: Relax Britchan. I'll take care of this jerk. I promise you. I'm not going to let anyone harm you And I keep my promises.
Britanny: Oh Ranma
Daishi (Nods his head): Hmm You have heart in your words But do you have heart in your fists as well?
Ranma: Watch me
With that, Zelda and Ionis then gang up behind Ranma, and the three fighters have him and Britanny surrounded. People that were in the mall run away, hoping to avoid getting caught up in the fight. However, help comes in the most unlikely of forms.
Kuno (Runs towards them): FOUL SORCERER! YOUR DAY OF RECKONING IS AT HAND! I SHALL SMITE THEE WITH THE KUNO FAMILY BLADE!
Ranma: KUNO!?
Indeed Kuno has finally found the 'vile sorcerer' Ranma Saotome, and has him right where he wants him Or so he thinks
Ionis turns around thinking the boy in samurai garb and katana was talking to him. Ranma uses Ionis's moment of distraction against him. He kicks the mage in the back of the head, and sends him flying into Kuno. Kuno's blade goes flying into the air and lands near Britanny. Britanny crouches back from the blade, as she can 'feel' that it is made from something that is deadly to werecreatures.
Britanny (Wide-eyed): S, SILVER!?
Daishi then disappears from his spot, and reappears next to the blade. Daishi then picks up the katana, and points it at Britanny.
Daishi: Well, this IS convenient. Now Give yourself up werecheetah, and I won't be forced to kill you.
The response he gets is Ranma kicking him in the face, then turning it into a round-house kick, and smashing the blade out of Daishi's hand in one fell swoop.
Britanny (Wide-eyed): Woah
Daishi then smiles under his mask
Daishi: Ah Quite a bit of skill you have You may yet be a good challenge
Ranma (Cocky): I'm more than a challenge for you!
Daishi: So be it.
Zelda (Annoyed): HEY! WHAT ABOUT ME!?
Daishi: You said you wanted to take care of the werecheetah? Well, DO IT!
Zelda (Cracks her knuckles): All right
Britanny: Oh hell
And so, two fights then breakout in the deserted mall. Britanny in her human form against Zelda, and Ranma against Daishi.
Even thought Britanny isn't as fast, or as strong in her human form as she is her werecheetah form, she is still a bit tricky And she knows how to use Zelda's own strengths against her. Zelda Runs towards Britanny, intending to end the fight in one blow However, as Zelda runs towards her, Britanny grabs onto Zelda shoulders, leaps off of her, and kicks her in the back of the head, making Zelda land into the ground face-
first.
Zelda (Grabs her nose): GRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! YOU LITTLE WEREBITCH!
Britanny (Sticks tongue out and pulls on her eyelid.): NYAH, NYAH! Can't catch me!
Zelda (Eyes turn red): GRRRRRRRRRRR!
Zelda then charges again at Britanny However
Kuno (Standing in front of Britanny): Foolish gaijin! How dare you contaminate the soil of fair Japan? Be gone with you!
Zelda then releases her anger on Kuno, giving him a beat down. Zelda then gets up from Kuno's battered body and looks around for Britanny.
Zelda: Now where did
Britanny: BANZAI!
Zelda (Eyes widen): HUH!?
Zelda turns around and sees Britanny moving towards her While riding a shopping cart The cart smashes into Zelda, and Zelda falls into the carriage part of the cart. Then Britanny gets off and lets the cart fall down a flight of stairs.
Zelda (As she falls): YOU BITCH!
Britanny then looks down at the bottom floor of the mall from her vantage point on the third floor. Zelda is wrapped in a mesh of metal that was once the shopping cart.
Zelda (Eyes are swirls): Oooooooh Look at the pretty birdies
Zelda faints.
Britanny: SCORE ONE FOR THE BRITSTER! Now to find Ranma
Suddenly there's an explosion
Britanny (Eyes widen): RANCHAN!
Britanny runs towards the direction the explosion came from.
Ranma and Daishi keep trading blows. For every time Ranma gets a punch in on Daishi, Daishi can get a hit on him as well. Ranma then manages to catch Daishi off guard and lets him have it
Ranma: KATCHU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN!
Ranma then pummels Daishi with lightning speeds. Of course, Daishi is not defeated with just one move, and is now a bit pissed.
Daishi (Angry): YOU LITTLE BRAT! I'LL TEACH YOU!
Daishi then gathers his internal energy. The excitement of the fight fills his veins, and gives him his power in the form of a yellow ki
Ranma, sensing Daishi is going to try something, begins to gather his own energies. His confidence coming to him in a light blue ki Both warriors reach their maximum capacities of energy hold, and release it at each other!
Daishi: GADO BEAM!
Ranma: MOUKO TAKABISHA!
Ranma's ki projectile heads towards Daishi's ki projectile. The two blasts collide in a big explosion. When all settles, Ranma and Daishi stand on the edges of a big crater in the center of the mall. Daishi smirks a litle under his mask and faints. Ionis, who is now awake, takes this as a bad sign, and just teleports himself, and the unconscious Zelda, and unconscious Daishi out of there. Ranma blinks as they all disappear.
Ranma: Huh? Where'd they go?
Britanny (Running towards Ranma): RANCHAN!
Ranma: Huh?
Britanny glomps onto Ranma, and starts thanking him for taking care of those jerks. After all, she couldn't really handle them in her human form all by herself, and Ranma was able to help her take care of them.
Britanny: THANK YOU RANCHAN!
Ranma: Uh Don't mention it Britchan?
Britanny: Yes?
Ranma: Can we go back to the hotel now?
Britanny: Sigh Okay (Smiles). But, I'll make sure to take you out tomorrow!
Ranma: Groooooaaaaaaaaannnnnn
And so Ranma and Britanny leave the mall before the authorities come Kuno gets up from beneath some rubble and stares at them.
Kuno: That's right coward! RUN! RUN IN FEAR! For I, Tatewaki Kuno, THE BLUE THUNDER OF FURINKAN HIGH, SHALL BRING THE TO JUSTICE!
Kuno then notices something is wrong.
Kuno: Where's my sword.
Kuno begins looking through the rubble, hopping to find his family's sword. After getting frustrated enough, he does his usual action Blaming Ranma.
Kuno: SAOTOME! WHEN I FIND YOU AGAIN, I SHALL MAKE THEE PAY FOR MAKING MY PERSONAGE LOSE THE FAMILY KATANA OF THE KUNO CLAN, AND MAKE RIGHT THE WRONGS YEE HATH DONE TO THE FAIR AKANE TENDO AND THE BEAUTEOUS PIG-TAILED GIRL!
Suddenly a piece of the mall ceiling gives way and crushes Kuno under it.
The wererats watch the ruined mall, and can only say one thing
Lydia, Moisha, Romeo: Damn
A few moments pass until they collect themselves.
Romeo: So, want to go out for more frosted cinnamon rolls tomorrow?
Moisha (Eyes sparkle): Sure!
Lydia (Mutters): Why did I get teamed up with such idiots?
End Chapter 4
Next Time: Britanny now tries to repay Ranma for all his help She is over Stripe, and she has made a vow. He helped her, now she'll help him. Ranma says his good-byes to those he cares about and it's off to America to see if they can get rid of Ranma's curse!
