AN: Hey, zoo... who wants to kill me cause I havent posted in almost a year...? *squeek* I'm so very sorry. I was planning on leaving this story just the way it was, but so many people wanted more. I have been trying to figure out a plot line and I think I got it. This Chapter is basically The Doctor's thought and what happened to him after he abandoned River on the dance floor. Thank you to Cristiane Silva for giving me this idea! Also, thank you to my sister Macie. She wrote most of the part in which the Doctor is in one of him old companions rooms. So please enjoy!

"Sweetie. I'm pregnant."

The Doctor stopped dead in his tracks, let go of her hands, turned around, and simply walked away.

He kept walking, until he got to the TARDIS. He stormed in and slammed the door behind him; the TARDIS giving an annoyed whine. Sitting on the steps he let his face fall into his hands.

He should have seen this coming. They both knew it was possible for her to get pregnant, and they both knew there would be struggles that came along with a child. There had never been a Time Lord pregnancy. There had always been the Loom. Neither of them knew what would happen if River were to ever get pregnant. That's why they had decided to never try. As much as they both wanted to have children, neither of them wanted to risk losing anybody. Wether that be River or the child.

They had always been careful. Always used protection. It was only once that they never did. So, of course, that one time had to be the time she would get knocked up.

Standing up, the Doctor walked over to the console and started to pilot the TARDIS. The TARDIS refused to fly anywhere and shut down the main power engines. The interior lights dimmed along with all the console lights shutting off.

The Doctor growled in frustration and slammed his fist on the console.

"This can't be happening. Out of all things in this damned universe, and this, THIS is what has to happen!" The Doctor rubbed his face and started to cry.

"Maybe if I walked around the TARDIS for a little bit, I will calm down," he said to himself. So thats what he did.

He wasn't walking in anywhere particular; just walking.

He passed the library, the pool, the kitchen, his companions old rooms, and many more. He opened doors along the way, and peeked into every room. For the first time in years, he opened Rose's room.

He saw some of her clothes on the ground (including her Union Jack shirt that he had loved), and he noticed a picture in a frame that he hadn't noticed before. He didn't ever remember that being there. He picked it up and as soon as he did he dropped it. He took the picture from the glass shards and stared at it. It was a picture of Rose, and… and him. But not him. The human him. And in his arms, was a small bundle wrapped in a blanket. A baby. The Doctor realized how happy they both looked.

He wasn't sure how the picture got there, but he was sure of one thing. He was meant to see it. Maybe if the human him was happy, the real him will be too. Especially with River. Yes he loved- and still does love- Rose Tyler. But he loves River more. So much more and the thought of starting a family with her makes his heart pound with stood there for a second, motionless, then shook his head to clear his thoughts and left the room.

He couldn't help but notice though, a strange door that kept popping up around ever corner. he tried to ignore it, but the TARDIS was obviously trying to show him something.

Giving up on ignoring the damn thing, The Doctor stepped towards the door.

The door was made of old, dark cracked wood and was covered in faded Gallifrayen. Looking at the circles and swirls of gold engraved paint, the Doctor smiled.

Love.

The Doctor traced the writing with his index finger, and sighed. Grabbing the handle he gently twisted the knob and pushed the door open. It was dark and chilly. He soon found a light switch and flipped it on. Looking around him, The Doctor noticed the room was completely bare. Besides two objects in the very center of the room; a can of pink paint and paint roller.

Why is this room here, and why is there paint? The Doctor thought.

Wanting to leave this room, he walked over to the door and tried to open it. The only problem was that the door was locked.

"Why are you doing this old girl? Can't you see that I'm already stressed enough! I'm also quiet frankly, afraid as hell!" He gripped the door knob harder; his hand starting to burn as if he had touched an angry flame.

Pulling his hand back, he looked at his palm. It was red and irritated. But he got distracted by the fact it had writing on it.

You're not the only one…

Of course. The TARDIS was trying to tell him that him and River were in this together. They have always been together, and always will be. It wasn't all about him anymore. He would never again travel alone, pick up a stranger, make a great relationship, and lose them. No. River was here to stay. Forever and always.

"Thank you old girl. I guess I should go apologize." He tried the door again, but it was still locked.

He growled. "Do you not want me to apologize? I'm so damned confused. Fine. I guess I won't say sorry. I'll just wait for River to come find me." He turned around and his eyes fell upon the can of paint. "Oh. Oh. Ohhhh… you want me to paint this room. But why? And why pink? Oh." Realization dawned on him. "It's going to be a n-nu-nursery for the baby."

Sighing, he pulled off his dress coat, rolled up his sleeves, and began to paint.

This gave him plenty of time to think about the past and what has happened in his and River's live so far. It was calming. He didn't know how long it took him, but when he was finished, he grabbed his coat and opened the door. Only to be met by another door with more Gallifrayen.

Adventure.

The room was just like the other, but with blue paint this time.

Of course, he tried the door, and of course it was locked. So he began to paint. This time he thought about the future, and what it holds.

Tired, sore, and a bit angry at the TARDIS, he finale made his way out of his time machine and back to his wedding. Only ten or so minutes had passed since he had left. The TARDIS had set him in a time lock.

Once inside the building, he spotted his wife and her parents sitting on the sidelines of the dance floor. For what he could tell, River was yelling at her parents and Amy had protective arms wrapped around her.

He had caused his wife pain. He has never wanted to cause River pain. Especially when he finally got her back from the library. He wanted to start a new future with her. With the Pond's he had also saved. Clara would come around sometimes too.

He kept walking towards River and nodded his head to Amy and Rory asking if he could have some privacy with their daughter. He gently wrapped his hands around her wrists, and pulled her hands away from her face.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I shouldn't have ran out like that. I don't know what I was thinking. I honestly don't think I was thinking at all." He paused. "That made no sense."

River laughed, but started to cry again. She was still upset.

"River. I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?" She didn't reply. "I don't know how many times I will have to say I'm sorry, but I will say it a million times if I have to. You don't have to forgive me. I just wanted to tell you that what I did was wrong, and I regret it." He let go of her hands and stood up. Grabbing the bouquet, set it in her lap, and started to walk away.

He was caught off guard when small strong hands turned him around and he was met with soft lips pressed against his. At first he hesitated, but then kissed her back.

When they were done he looked into her eyes as she spoke to him.

"You are forgiven. Always and completely forgiven."

After another quick kiss, he rested his forehead against River's.

Now he just had to show her what him and the old girl threw together.
