Chapter 1
11.55pm outside a museum.
An unknown figure was perched on the closest tree to the building, having climbed almost to the top. From here they had not only a clear view through one of the windows but also had the best access to the roof. Manoeuvring themselves on to the longest branch, they prepared to make a jump for the roof. However as they leapt into the air, they realised the gap between the tree and building had been greater distance then they had estimated, hands only just grabbing hold of the edge. A small grunt of pain was released as their body hit the wall; they hung there, listening out for any signs that they had been detected. Nothing. It was safe to move. They pulled themselves up, stretching out their arms quickly before heading out to the skylight, removing the necessary equipment they brought with them, before looking down, searching for what they had come to claim.
The museum guards paced up and down the corridors, completely unaware on the eyes that were watching their every move, before they landed on their prize. 'The demons eye' a very rare, very valuable ruby, that was one of a kind. And also heavily protected, if the amount of lasers surrounding it counted for anything.
No matter.
The guards continued their rounds; everything so far this night had been fine. Nothing out of place, no intruders, things were going smooth- but god dam it if every time someone thinks along those lines, everything suddenly turns on you. Alarms flashed and speakers went crazy as they told anyone who was in the building and around the area that something was wrong. Only the alarms were coming from somewhere further around the corner. The guards sent a quick look to each other, obviously debating if they should leave the ruby alone before deciding to save what else was in danger. However as soon as they reached the room full of portraits where all the noise was coming from, it suddenly stopped. As if nothing had happened at all.
Not convinced, and just slightly wary, they did a scan of the room. Finding everything as it should have been, they headed back to their original spots, only to freeze at the sight that greeted them like a slap in the face.
A whole load of lasers surrounding an empty case, well almost empty. Inside laid a single playing card.
The three of diamonds
~The next day~
It was all over the headlines. The demons eye had been swiped from under everyone's noses. It was big enough news by itself, but what made it even more unbelievable is that it was the third precious jewel to have been stolen in only a short span of about two months.
The police had a hell of a lot of pressure on them to find the one responsible. They believed to be the same person as at each crime scene, a card had been left behind. It seemed to be the criminal's signature move.
Unfortunately the police were stumped. They hand no witnesses, no possible suspects, no traces of DNA, or any other signs such as forced entry. It was a mystery. That being so they decided to hand the case over to the professionals.
This leads us to the secret headquarters of the F.B.I
The leader of the army of agents, as they jokingly called it, could be found in the office at the highest point of the building. His desk was covered in any and all information they could find on the case as well as a pile of newspaper clips. But considering the limited details they had, they would need the best man on the job. Someone who knew what they were doing, and had the skills to complete any and all tasks that should come their way.
And that person was none other than Sasuke Uchiha. A.K.A agent Sharingun
