Only under the cover of darkness may they meet
Stolen glances,
Hidden smiles,
But never where people can see them.
At stake
Their pride
The rules they follow
Their life
And the rules that dictate it.
And,
If those rules were to be broken,
Punishment would ensue.
Yes,
To love in wonderful,
But to show it is a crime.
