Broken Hearts Combined Chapter 27: The Celestial Connection Between Ranma and the Gods
It had been a week since Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila left Durpan. They have currently made it back once again to the Arbron's Spine Mountain Range… The mountains are just as Ranma remembers them…
Ranma (Thinks): Tall, wide, and ragged looking…
Yes… These large mountains, are all that stand in Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila's way of getting over to the Southern part of the East Continent. As the three begin climbing, Ranma looks over to Sheila.
Ranma (Climbs): Hey Shechan…
Sheila (Climbs): Yeah Ranchan?
Ranma: How the heck do the people deal with all these mountains? I mean, this damn mountain is a pain to get across.
Sheila, well, it doesn't go completely across the West Continent; touching the borders. Instead, it stops short.
Britanny then makes her way up the side of the mountain, getting closer to where Ranma and Sheila are.
Britanny (Climbs): If that's so, then WHY didn't we go around? It would have been A LOT FASTER than climbing these mountains!
Sheila (Shakes her head): No good…
Britanny: Eh?
Sheila: I said it's no good.
Britanny: What do you mean it's "no good"?
Sheila: Britanny, in case you don't realize, traveling around the mountain range would take us twenty or so days! Going right through the mountain range only takes about two or three days of climbing.
Britanny: I could have used my cheetah speed and gotten us around the mountain range in no time!
Ranma stops climbing and decides to speak to Britanny.
Ranma: Well Britchan…
Britanny: Yes Ranchan?
Ranma: I can tell you why we're climbing, if you want to know… There are a couple of good reasons…
Britanny: Oh? Like what?
Ranma: Well, first climbing is good for endurance training.
Britanny (Nods her head): Okay. That's pretty much true… And?
Ranma: Second, we need to budget our time for now… I'm supposed to enter that tournament that will take place in another five or so months… You know… The tournament that Master Julia was telling me to enter…
Britanny: The Tournament of Arms?
Ranma (Nods his head): That's the one… Anyway, it's in another five months, and I need to budget my time wisely… I can't just take a break unless I need the training, I need to calm down after training, or I'm ahead of schedule…
Britanny: Oh yeah… I remember now… Even that old pervert Leep said that you needed to finish fighting all the Weaponsmasters before the tournament starts…
Ranma: Yes… That way, I don't have to worry about fighting any of them when I enter the tournament…
Britanny (Nods her head): Sounds good… Any other reasons?
Sheila: Yeah. Ranchan and me are getting sick of having pineapples smashed into our faces every time you grab us and start running off with us to our next destination.
Britanny: HEY! That's NOT my fault! I don't even know where those stupid pineapples keep coming from!
(-)
Meanwhile, in another part of the Arbron's Spine Mountain Range…
Sabbo: ACHOO! Sniff… Someone must be thinking of me…
Sabbo wipes at his mask in the area his nose should be with a handkerchief.
(-)
After a few more hours of climbing for the group, they make it to the top of one of the mountains. They stop to take a break and catch their breath…
Sheila: I know we were just talking about not wasting time, but… Can we rest here please?
Ranma: Sure… I could use a bit of rest…
Britanny: Great…
Sheila: Great indeed…
(-)
Ranma sits, trying to meditate peacefully, as to try and calm his body down on its recent exertion of energy.
Ranma (Thinks): Okay… Think of peaceful things… Like waterfalls… Birds… Okonomiyaki… Katas… Sleeping… Fishing… More Okonomiyaki… Britchan and Shechan's sleeping faces…
Ranma blinks for a few moments.
Ranma (Thinks): Where did I come up with that?
Ranma then looks over at Britanny and Sheila. Both of them are staring at the Arks that are now connected to the back of their wrists. He smiles upon seeing the two concentrating on something besides fighting…
Ranma (Thinks, smiles): Those two really are nice when they're not fighting. Shechan is just too cute for words and Britchan… Sigh… Britchan is just beautiful… Still, I wonder why they keep fighting all the time. What is there that they could possibly be fighting over?
Yes… Even though more experienced in worldly knowledge, Ranma is still naïve when it comes to women…
(-)
Britanny sits on the ground, all the while staring at the Ark imbedded onto her skin. What seemingly looks like a blue jewel is actually one of the most powerful and advanced pieces of technology EVER!
Britanny can only think of one thing.
Britanny (Thinks): Blue isn't bad, but DAMN IT! It's NOT my color! Damn it, now I'll have to have my entire wardrobe revolve around this damn thing… Sigh… At least Ranchan thinks it looks good on me…
Britanny then thinks of what clothes would look good with the jewel. All of a sudden Dain; the Ark of Intelligence and Shadows glow a pale blue light, and Britanny's eye glow with the same pale blue light in response. Suddenly, her head is filled with images of EVERY piece of clothing she currently owns, and all the combinations she knows how she can wear them. The Ark and Britanny's eyes stop glowing. Britanny blinks a few times then stares at the Ark.
Britanny (Thinks): I'm really going to have to learn how this thing does that… Maybe Gina could…
Suddenly, memories of some of Gina's experiments gone horribly wrong that Britanny had to go through goes through her head like a hurricane. She didn't need the Ark to remind her of those events…
Britanny (Thinks): Brr… Then again, it's probably A LOT safer if I DON'T get Gina's help… No way in hell I want a repeat of what happened with Grave Digger…
Britanny then moves her head over to look at Ranma and smiles. He is so calm, so innocent. It just makes her fall in love with him… Or it at least has the effect of making her want to push Ranma to the ground, tear his clothes off, and make sweet love to him all night long…
Britanny (Thinks, smiles): He looks so cute! I wonder if he would like to… Puuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…
Britanny's smile widens, and she starts moving over to Ranma…
(-)
Sheila stared at the recently acquired Ark 'Rain' on her left wrist, the green jewel sparkling with a power she never really knew before, filling her with emotions that she never really felt throughout her life.
Confidence. Making her feel pretty damn sure of herself, as well as giving her a personal gratification and feeling of self worth.
Determination. Filled with this new motivation, she now feels like she can do anything, has to do anything.
That is why Rain is the Ark of the Soul and Light. Filling the person with more positive emotions than ever before, so that they feel as though they can overcome any obstacle.
And right now, there's only one obstacle Sheila wants to overcome.
Sheila (Thinks): Okay I know that I can do it. It's not so hard… I know that I like, no, I LOVE Ranchan. I also know that Britanny loves Ranchan… And I definitely know that Ranma cares for both of us… So how do I get him to choose, and choose me?
Sheila smiles and begins to elicit a soft purr. Being around Ranma has this great calming effect on her. It also has thee effect of making her want to push him to the ground, tear his clothes off, and make sweet love to him all night long.
Sheila (Smiles): Puuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…
Sheila then turns her focus over to look at Ranma and she frowns. She sees Britanny stalking up to him, a predatorial smirk on her face.
Sheila (Thinks): And what does she think she's doing!? I better go stop this at once!
And so Sheila starts moving towards Ranma.
(-)
Ranma opened his eyes from his meditating to see Britanny and Sheila moving up to him from either side.
Ranma: So are you two ready to start climbing back down?
Britanny and Sheila looked at Ranma with a smile on their faces. Ranma blinked.
Ranma: Um… Did I miss something?
Britanny: Um… Ranchan… I have a question.
Sheila: Actually, so do I…
Ranma: Okay… What is it?
Britanny and Sheila began to blush a bit; thinking about what they wanted to ask Ranma. However, they couldn't get the words to leave their lips. Ranma just stared at Britanny and Sheila for a bit.
Ranma: Um… Is there something you two wanted to ask me?
Britanny & Sheila (Eyes closed, smiling): Puuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…
Ranma (Blinks): Huh?
Suddenly, thanks to the combined weight, of Britanny, Sheila, and Ranma in one area, the ground of the mountaintop they were on gave way without warning, and the three fell inside the Arbron's Spine Mountain Range.
Ranma, Britanny, & Sheila (Falling): WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!
And so they fall for a bit, when all of a sudden, the Arks on Britanny and Sheila's wrists begin to glow. A blue aura surrounds Britanny and a green aura surrounds Sheila. Their auras expand to include Ranma. They begin to start floating down to the ground slowly.
Britanny (Blinks): What's happening?
Ranma: I don't know…
Sheila: Damn it, why aren't we floating up?
Ranma: Maybe you two should try concentrating on floating up?
Britanny and Sheila think. Instead, they continue their slow dissension.
Britanny: It isn't working Ranchan. Now what do we do?
Ranma: I don't know. Maybe we should wait to see where we land?
Sheila: Yeah… At this point we don't really have much of a choice, do we?
And so, Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila continue dissenting down into the mountain.
(-)
Sabbo looks through his binoculars, his hands shaking.
Sabbo: Oh no. OH NO! THEY CAN'T BE DEAD! THEY JUST CAN'T BE! IF THEY'RE DEAD I'LL BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!
And so Sabbo starts running down the side mountain he was on; going as fast and as far as his pudgy legs will carry him. Unfortunately, he trips, and starts falling down.
Sabbo: OW! D'OH! SONUVA-OW! OW! DAMN THIS HURTS! OW!
Sabbo finally reaches the foot of the mountain, all covered in bruises, and a large crack going horizontally though the right side of his mask, all the way to the opening for the eye.
Sabbo: … Ow… Maybe I should rest… I'll pick up my search later…
Sabbo drops his head. He is unconscious…
(-)
Finally, after spending a good twelve minutes floating to the ground the aura disengages itself and Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila end up falling the rest of the way; which is only three ft in the air.
Britanny (Looks around): Where are we Ranchan?
Ranma: I have no clue. Shechan, do you know where we are?
Sheila: None… I've never heard of any of the mountains in the Arbron's Spine Mountain Range being hollowed out…
Ranma: Dang…
The three begin looking around the place. The cavern they're in is huge, with many opening around it, leading to smaller passages.
Sheila looks down and her eyes widen
Sheila: I think we're in some sort of ruins…
Ranma: Ruins?
Sheila: Yeah… Look down.
Ranma and Britanny look down. All they see are rocks.
Ranma: It's rocks. Your point Shechan?
Sheila: Ranchan… These stones are smashed into the ground… Almost like a cobblestone road…
Ranma then bends down to get a better look at the stones. He pries at one with his hands, and it takes a good deal of effort to move it.
Ranma: Yep… Looks like we're in some sort of ruins. But what would all those caves around here be for?
Britanny: Dang… I wish Gina were here. She'd probably just study a pebble and tell us exactly how old this place is, who built it, and the purpose of it…
Ranma (Blinks): She can do that?
Britanny: With her equipment, she can… But she's not here… Dang it, what are we gonna do!?
Ranma: Well… We might as well try looking through this place. There could be an exit around here somewhere. Or we could try climbing out…
The three of them look up. They end up shaking their heads.
Ranma: No… Forget that. Too risky…
Britanny: Yeah… And personally, I don't feel like climbing on the reverse side of a vertical mountain slope. That'll be hard as hell to do.
Sheila: Then our only real chance to get out of these ruins is to try to find a way out through these caves.
Britanny: No problem.
Britanny then gets into a staring position and literally sprints. She goes in one entrance, and out another, then into another entrance, and out another, then into another, and out another. This goes on for a few seconds, until she stops in front of Ranma and Sheila, a worried look on her face.
Britanny: Guys… This whole place is like one big maze!
Sheila: Shoot. How the heck are we supposed to get out of here?
Ranma: Well. I could try using some ki to blow a huge hole in one of the walls…
Britanny & Sheila: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ranma (Blinks): Why not?
Sheila: Ranchan… If you do that then this whole place will come crashing down, and burying us in tons of rubble; effectively KILLING US!
Ranma: Oh… That would be bad…
Sheila and Britanny face-fault. Ranma may be the greatest thing to them since canned tuna, but sometimes, Ranma can be VERY dense…
Britanny and Sheila then get off the ground and look at Ranma.
Sheila: Now what do we do Ranchan?
Ranma: How about we start climbing?
Britanny: Or we could check out that place I found.
Ranma & Sheila (Stare at Britanny): Huh?
Britanny (Nods her head): Yeah. I saw this weird hall, almost like a church. It had stone pews and a smoothened obsidian altar. It was pretty cool looking. But I didn't stop to look at it long. Instead I kept running, hoping I could find a way out.
Ranma: Hmm… Well… While we're here we might as well check out that altar. It could have a clue as to get out of here.
Britanny: Sure. You bet Ranchan!
Britanny then grabs Sheila, Ranma, making sure they still have all their stuff. Britanny then takes off down one of the caves; going through twists and turns, until finally coming to a stop in the middle of a hallway.
Britanny: This is the place.
Britanny then lets go of Ranma and Sheila. The three look around the place. It is indeed like Brit said.
Sheila: I think this is an abandoned temple.
Britanny: A temple? To what?
Sheila: I don't know.
Ranma: Maybe while we search for some clues here as to get out of this place, we'll find what they worshipped here.
And so Ranma, Britanny and Sheila split up to do some searching. Britanny goes through the stone pews, searching on top and below them for anything out of the 'ordinary'.
Sheila goes up to the altar, looking around it for anything that can explain this place, and how to get out.
Ranma goes to a podium off to the right side of the altar, while facing the pews. He comes up with an old text.
Ranma: I got something!
Britanny and Sheila move over to Ranma. They looks over his shoulders at the book.
Britanny: What's it say? Does it talk about how to get out of here?
Ranma opens the book and… It's in a language he doesn't understand.
Ranma: Huh? What's this?
Sheila: It looks like "Old Elven Tongue". When they Elves wrote with a messier brushwork, and took longer strokes when drawing runes.
Ranma: Okay.
Britanny: Hey Sheila, can you translate?
Sheila: I can try…
Ranma hands Sheila the book. She takes a few minutes to look it over, reading it out loud in their tongue.
Sheila (Reads): "And so we worship our twin gods, hoping that they shall bring us to the truth of our order. And so we worship or goddess of luck, hoping her ways of fate shall rise and set like the sun, giving us good and bad; the balance."
Ranma: "Balance"?
Sheila (Shrugs her shoulders): I have no idea… (Continues reading). "For following the Balance shall lead us to our glory in the realm beyond as we embrace the heritages that our mother planet of Jaden has bestowed upon us…"
Suddenly, Britanny and Sheila's Arks begin to glow.
Britanny: ACK! WHAT THIS THING DOING!?
Sheila: I have no idea!
Suddenly, beams of light shoot out from the Arks Rain and Dain and hit the altar dead center. Then the beams of light stop and three glowing balls of light; one blue, one green, and one white appear before the altar.
Britanny: Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?
The balls of light begin to grow and take shape.
The blue ball of light changes to the shape of a dark-skinned man 12 ft in height. He has a completely shaved head, with the exception of a small strand of dark green hair in his bangs area. He wears what look like simpler Grecian robes, and sandals. He has a dove resting on his left shoulder.
The ball of green light takes the form of a dark-skinned woman, with a red wildcat's paw print tattoo over her right eye, and 11 ft in height. Her hair is dark green with strands of white and yellow, and goes down to her waist. Her clothing is an assortment of animal skin-patchwork and Grecian sandals. She has a bow in one hand, and a sling of area slung over her right shoulder.
The ball of white light takes the form of a pale Oriental woman, with red lips, and a little over 10 ft in height. Her hair is a pale blue and runs down past her butt. She wears a strange black silk kimono, with white and gold lotus prints on the bottom of it, and a black sash with gold and white lotus prints on it as well. She has a large Buddhist necklace slung over her shoulder, each of the balls having a symbol that responds to one of the animals on the Zodiac.
Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila just stare at the forms for a few minutes, as they stare back at them. Finally, the green-haired lady talks to the man.
Green-haired woman: So, what do you think bro?
Man: What am I to think? They have the Arks, do they not?
Green-haired lady: Looks like it.
The oriental-looking lady continues looking at Ranma.
Oriental lady (Stares at Ranma): Hmm…
Ranma: Um… Could you quit staring at me please?
The lady continues to stare.
Britanny: Hey lady, can you please stop scaring my Ranchan? You're making him nervous!
Green-haired lady: Yeah Kishijoten. You're scaring the poor boy to death.
Britanny & Sheila (Blink): "Kishijoten"?
Ranma: Wait… Kishijoten? As in the Japanese Goddess of luck?
Kishijoten taps Ranma on the nose with her right index finger.
Kishijoten: BINGO!
Britanny: Wait… I'm confused… Are you two Gods as well?
Green-haired lady: Yeah. I'm shocked you don't recognize my brother and I. We gave you our blessings, didn't we?
Sheila: Blessings?
Green-haired lady: Yeah. I am Artemis! Goddess of hunting and all wild creatures! That includes you werecats!
Man: And I am Apollo. God of light and truth. And I must admit, my sister can be quite a handful at times, so please be patient with her.
Artemis: HEY!
Apollo: What? I am telling the truth.
Artemis: This is what I get for having a brother who couldn't lie if his immortal life depended on it…
Ranma: Excuse me… Kishijoten…
Kishijoten: Yes?
Ranma: Just why do you keep staring at me?
Artemis: Yeah… You thinking of giving him your blessing or something?
Kishijoten: Don't need to… He's already got it.
Britanny: Oh? I don't remember Gneiss giving us her blessing.
Kishijoten: He didn't give my blessing to all of you. It's just that Ranma Saotome here was born with mine.
Ranma: What do you mean?
Kishijoten does a slight pout. She's not really angry, but playful at the moment.
Kishijoten: I'm surprised you don't remember your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-
great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother…
Ranma (Wide-eyed): MY WHAT!?
Britanny, Sheila, Artemis, & Apollo: YOU'RE WHAT!?
Kishijoten: Yes. I am his great-great-great…
Ranma (Interrupts): Okay, okay, we understand. No need for all the 'great' stuff…
Kishijoten smiles cutely at Ranma and sticks out her tongue at him.
Britanny: Excuse me, but how is that possible? I mean, you're a goddess and Ranchan is human!
Kishijoten: Not quite… You see, I am known as "Lady Luck"… And I'm sure you know of the song, "Luck Be Your Lady Tonight"…
Kishijoten winks at Ranma and makes him blush. Artemis puts her hand to her mouth and start making coughing motions.
Artemis: COUGH, COUGH, slut, COUGH, COUGH, slut, COUGH, COUGH…
Kishijoten (Glares): Oh? And you HAVEN'T had your way with humans?
Artemis: Nope!
Apollo: Technically my sister is telling the truth… However, there are many varieties of werebeast that she has been with. Did you ever hear about the time when she had gone out drinking and met up with this weretiger named Tora and after a few drinks shEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!
Apollo starts hoping up and down on his left foot, clutching at his right foot, which has an arrow stuck into it. Artemis smirks as she holds her bow in the air.
Artemis: Oops! It 'slipped'…
Ranma (Blinks): Violent, isn't she?
Kishijoten: No… It's just a bit of sibling rivalry… Artemis has a slight temper, and since Apollo can't lie, he tends to say the wrong things at the wrong time…
Sheila: I see…
Ranma: So… If I'm related to you, the goddess of luck, then why did I have such bad luck when growing up?
Britanny: Yeah. Poor Ranchan went through hell and back…
Kishijoten: Hey. I am the goddess of LUCK! Not the goddess of GOOD luck or the goddess of BAD luck. In other words, I am both good and bad luck. And it seems that like his father, Ranma has a tendency to get more 'bad' luck than 'good' luck.
Ranma (Blinks): MY DAD IS RELATED TO YOU!?
Kishijoten: Yes… Unfortunately… Only time he had good luck shine upon him was when he met your mother. I mean, how else do you think he had gotten such a great woman? He literally had all of the 'good' luck he had work for him.
Ranma nods his head in understanding…
Ranma: So… I'm a descendant of a goddess… Does that make me a 'demigod'?
Kishijoten (Shakes her head): Nope… The blood has been too diluted over the centuries… You have some abilities above normal people, but you are in no way a demigod. Sorry.
Ranma: That's okay. I don't need my life becoming any more complicated than it already is. I mean, the Jusenkyo curse I have is enough by itself…
Kishijoten blinks, and Artemis stops pounding on her brother.
Artemis: Jusenkyo? You've been to my old hunting ground?
Britanny: 'Hunting ground'?
Sheila: What do you mean?
Artemis: Well, I had many hunting grounds in the Earth Realm when we gods and goddesses were still worshipped there. My main hunting ground was in mainland China… I called it Jusenkyo since I felt I should have a way to punish mortals that came into my home without permission.
Ranma: What do you mean?
Artemis: As I said, I needed to punish trespassers. So some of the animals I hunted, I took and drowned in some of the springs. Then using my power, I imbedded their souls into the place. When a trespasser came by, I threw them into one of the springs, and hunted whatever came out. My personal favorite was turning them into little black pigs and then having my hunting dogs attack them.
Ranma: So… Jusenkyo was a punishment? Then what happened? Why are those springs still active if you left?
Artemis: Well to be honest, I'm not sure HOW! Once I left, my spell over those springs stayed! And since I was no longer controlling those springs, they changed over time… The effects were no longer permanent, making it so a person can change with waters of different temperatures, and when more things died in that valley, more and more springs became cursed, as though the magic had leeched from those few springs I actually powered and made all of them magical.
Ranma: Oh… Okay… Well, do you know how I can get rid of this curse? Does it take having to step into the Spring of Drowned Man?
Artemis: No. The curses would just mix. I didn't mean for these curses to be released… However, I believe there is something in Japan that could help…
Ranma: Oh? What is it?
Artemis: Something about a pillar that holds up the main islands. I don't know what it is. Never looked into it myself.
Ranma: Well, thanks for the info.
Sheila: Excuse me, but if I can ask, can either of you three tell us how to get outside the place? We'd like to continue our journey.
Apollo: That's fairly easy. We can send you outside.
Britanny: Really? Thanks!
Apollo: You are quite welcome werecheetah.
Kishijoten: Hold it! Ranma, Britanny, Sheila. I just want to do one thing quickly.
Kishijoten then reaches into one of her Kimono sleeves and pulls out a small white tile with a purple lotus print on it.
Kishijoten: My blessing.
Kishijoten empowers the tile and it floats into the air glowing. It breaks into three pieces, and the pieces turn into light. The light then disappears into Ranma, Britanny, & Sheila.
Kishijoten: Now you three have my blessing.
Ranma: Thank you Kishijoten.
Kishijoten (Waves it off): No problem. And please don't call me Kishijoten…
Sheila: Oh?
Britanny: Then what do you want to be called?
Kishijoten: Call me… (Smiles): Little Kishi!
Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila blink. Artemis and Apollo sigh in defeat.
Artemis: There she goes again…
Apollo: This is what happens when she keeps hanging around that goddess Washu Hakubi for too long…
Kishijoten: Anyhow, time to send you three to…
Kishijoten takes a coin out of her hand, flips it, and it lands on heads.
Kishijoten to the city of the next Weaponsmaster!
Ranma: Really? Thanks! That is going to save us some time.
Kishijoten: No problem!
Kishijoten then extends her right arm out. And in a flash of light, the three gods are left in the ruins alone.
Apollo: Where did you send them Kishijoten?
Kishijoten: Little Kishi!
Apollo: Sigh… Where did you send them "Little Kishi"?
Kishijoten: I sent them to where the next Weaponsmaster should be. The city of Ryden…
Artemis (Smirks): You mean the home of the Giant Clan?
Kishijoten (Smiles mischievously): YUP!
Apollo: What are you planning Kishijoten?
Kishijoten: Oh… Nothin'
Artemis: Ah… Whatever… Let's just get back… I wanted to try that new recipe that Gormon was trying out…
Kishijoten: And I have to visit my friends Skuld and Urd. I have to check out that boy named Keiichi Morisato that they were telling me about…
Apollo: The one their sister Belldandy had gotten 'engaged' to?
Kishijoten: Yup…
Artemis: I swear… Sometimes those three Norns just aren't worth the hassle…
With that all three gods disappear, leaving the ruins as empty as they were before.

End Chapter 27
Next Time: Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila appear above the city of Ryden, making it to the home of the next Weaponsmaster. Can Ranma deal with having to fight Britanny's grandmother!?
Author's note: Heh heh… Sorry… I just had to put in those references to "Ah Megami-sama"/"Oh My Goddess" and Tenchi Muyo. I wouldn't have felt right talking about gods without include the three Norns.
However, the three Norns appearing in this fic has yet to be decided…
