Broken Hearts Combined Chapter 42: Ranma Saotome Vs Julia Brigand-Diggers
It is early morning in the area of Georgia in the Earth Realm. The sun is up and it's a bright sunny day We see Lord Erwin 'Pee Wee' Talon, "Master of the Double Helix", rival of the Diggers family and child genius sitting in the breakfast-nook of his lab. He is wearing a pink bathrobe, and he is reading the newspaper.
Erwin: Uh huh So the UCONN Huskies won the Women's Basketball Championship Again Heh Looks like my enhancements I built into their key players has worked out well I knew looking into women's basketball would pay off
Suddenly, we hear the phone ring. Erwin puts down his paper.
Erwin (Calls out): Daishi! Zelda! Someone get the phone!
Erwin waits a moment, the phone rings a few more times Then it hits him
Erwin: Oh yeah I sent Daishi, Zelda, and Ionis to check out that area near the Bayankala Mountain Range Jusenkyo
Erwin gets up from his seat and moves over to the vid-phone. He answers it.
Erwin: Hello?
A screen comes out of the wall; we see the image of a rather bruised and bloody Daishi.
Daishi-Image (Black eye, bandage around head): Greetings Master Talon.
Erwin (Blink): D, Daishi?
Daishi-Image: Yes, it is I my lord.
Erwin: W, what happened!? There's no reason you should be so beaten up!
Daishi-Image: I am sorry my lord, but we have been having some 'problems' since we arrived a week ago.
Erwin: Oh? What "problems"?
Daishi-Image: first, many winged soldiers that were similar to Penny Pinser's harpy attacked our copter
Erwin (Blinks): harpies attacked you!?
Daishi-Image: I thought so, but thy called themselves, "phoenix".
Erwin (Nods his head): Okay Go on
Daishi-Image: We were forced down, but we managed to land next to Jusenkyo.
Erwin: That's good Did you find out what has been going on in the surrounding areas?
Daishi-Image: Yes There seems to be some sort of "civil war" going on right now Someone took over a race of people called, the "Musk Dynasty". There is a village with what is called "Joketsuzoku", or "Chinese Amazons" that is being attacked right now, by what appears to be soldiers of the Musk, and right now, it seems these "Phoenix" are fortifying themselves for battle
Erwin: A three-way civil war within the people of the Chinese government?
Daishi-Image (Shakes his head): No. Apparently, these people act outside of the Chinese government And that these races are all magical
Erwin (Raises an eyebrow): Magical?
Daishi-Image (Nods his head): Yes The Musk seem to be animal-people, the Amazons seem to have magical back round, and the Phoenix Well, they might just be harpies
Erwin: Ah Interesting But that STILL doesn't explain why you are so beat up
Daishi-Image: We were attacked
Erwin: By whom? Who attacked you?
Daishi-Image: It appears to have been two people who were cursed by the waters of Jusenkyo
Erwin: Cursed? You mean the waters are cursed?
Daishi-Image: Yes It is just as the legends say. There are over one hundred springs here, and each one has a curse from a tragic drowning!
Erwin: Okay So, what do the curses do? And how did that effect the people who attacked you?
Daishi-Image: Well, the curses act like this If you fall into a spring, you take the form of whatever drowned there.
Erwin: A Shape-shifting curse?
Daishi-Image: Yes It can be reversed with hot water, but only until the person is hit with cold water again
Erwin: Interesting So, whom were these two that attacked? Furthermore, WHY did they attack you?
Daishi-Image: They were an odd couple that wanted our helicopter; said something about world domination and getting 'state-of-the-art' technology, attacked us The woman took the form of an Ashura with three-faces, very similar to the Hindu Goddess of Destruction: Kali. The man took the form of some very strange Winged-Minataur, but with an eel for a tail, and octopus tentacles!
Erwin: Tell me you're joking
Daishi-Image: I am not
Erwin: Well, what happened to those two?
Daishi-Image: They attacked, and we counter-attacked It was a bit of a battle, but once we got those two splashed with hot water that the Tour-Guide here had set up, it was much easier to subdue them.
Erwin: Where are they now?
Daishi-Image: We have them sleeping in stasis pods on the copter. They won't be getting up until we release them.
Erwin: Excellent Daishi. This is great! I was in need of some new guinea pigs Now Daishi, I want you to tell this to Zelda and Ionis
Daishi-Image: Tell them what, my lord Talon?
Erwin: I want you to go and get me some samples of water from the different springs in Jusenkyo And I want you to take these two cursed people back here to Atlanta with you I'd like to do some 'Tests' on them
Daishi-Image: Yes lord Talon
Erwin: Oh, and Daishi
Daishi-Image: Yes my lord?
Erwin: See if you can capture one of the "Phoenix" and a "Joketsuzoku" for me as well I would like the opportunity to study one of each
Daishi-Image: Consider it done my lord.
Erwin: Good! That is all for now.
Erwin then turns off the vid-phone. He walks back to the breakfast nook of his lab and starts reading the paper again. He picks up his English muffin and looks at it a few moments before taking a bite
Erwin (Thinks, takes a bite out of an English muffin): Heh I really love it when things go my way
It is early morning in the Retreat There is little sound, with the exception of the sounds of nature that one would expect to hear; a low rustle of wind, birds, insects, and other animals
We see Sheila's room in her home in the Retreat Ranma, Britanny, and Sheila are sleeping in the same bed. Ranma awakens slowly. He finds himself in bed between Britanny and Sheila. He smiles for a moment after looking at their peaceful, sleeping faces then forces himself to get off the bed. He somehow manages to do it without waking up either Britanny or Sheila.
Ranma (Thinks): They're still asleep Thank God for small miracles I don't think I could go another round of lovemaking with those two, and still be in a well-enough condition to fight in the tournament today
Ranma then moves to the dresser and begins to dress slowly. This is the day The final part of the Tournament of Arms Where he'll be facing off against two of the Weaponsmasters
Ranma: I hope I can manage to do it again Fighting most of them was difficult the first time around
Ranma then finishes dressing. He is wearing a slightly different outfit from his usual fighting gear He's wearing some clothes that Britanny had bought him a while ago the last time they were on earth He wears a pair of dark blue jeans, black wrist-bands, black leather boots, a black muscle shirt, and he has his grandmaster of 'True' Anything Goes gi tied around his waist with the arms of it.
Ranma (Looks at himself in a mirror): Hmm Seems to be missing something
Ranma then looks around the room and finds an iron shoulder-guard and brown-leather strap that goes around the body, to keep the shoulder-guard in place.
Ranma: Perfect.
Ranma manages to put the shoulder guard onto his left shoulder. He looks at himself in Sheila's mirror again.
Ranma: Definitely what I'm looking for Plus, its added protection Definitely a plus I just hope Shechan doesn't mind me borrowing it.
Ranma then takes out his katana using the Hidden Weapons technique. He unsheathes the katana from the scabbard and looks it over
Ranma: Sigh I really hope I'm making the right choice, using this blade
Ranma then step out of the room, leaves the house, and make his way to the stadium
Ranma: I hope the girls won't be too upset at me leaving early Oh well At least they'll know where to find me.
It is now much, much later in the day We see many different types of people filling up the seating of the stadium for the Tournament of Arms. The inside is still done up with a Roman coliseum-like area, raised above the ground by a foot, but it is now made with polished white marble slate floor. The area for fighting is still a circular shape all around the fighting arena, with ten large gates leading into the fighting area, but now each gate has a special banner on it, and each banner has a different symbol. There is a large set of steps in one part of the arena, covered with a red rug with gold trimming, that leads up to a balcony. There is a twin set of armor at either side of the seat in the balcony, and a large throne set up, adorned with carvings of weapons.
As yesterday, the first four rows circling all around the coliseum are empty with the exception of a few seats, which are occupied by Britanny, Sheila, Gar, Thropan, Carla, Luan, and Kitzia and her four-werelion bodyguards. Britanny looks down to where Kitzia is sitting and calls to her.
Britanny: Hey Kitzia, why did you buy all the seats again?
Kitzia (Smiles): Simple I want room to stretch out. Plus, these are the best seats to watch! Front-row, center!
Britanny: True I just hope Ranchan's here He didn't say goodbye this morning
Sheila (Nods her head): Yeah Brit Why wouldn't Ranchan stay to let us see him off this morning?
Luan: Probably because you go at Ranma like Carla and I go at Gar
Gar blushes like crazy, and Carla nods her head in agreement. Thropan starts patting Gar on the back.
Thropan: That's great to hear Gar! I'm glad you found someone Or some people, in this case!
Gar (Blushes): Uh Yeah Eh heh heh
Kitzia: Hey look! The Tournament is starting!
With that, trumpets start playing for a few minutes, playing, "Ode to our Warriors", a song that is almost the 'theme' for the Tournament of Arms. It is played as if pronouncing the arrival of someone great, (which they are, as they always have been used).
The gate with the marking of a sword lifts up, and out of it steps Armsmaster Julia Brigand-Diggers. She wears a tight dark blue leather one-piece outfit with the cloth-cut between her breasts, circular-shaped steel shoulder-guards, with a symbol of an sword engraved on the left shoulder-guard and a piece of jade in the right shoulder-guard, black wrist bands with slight gold-trimming, a dense brown leather weapons belt with a gold buckle and sheathed sword to her left side, and dark brown leather boots that reach up past her knees. Everyone in the audience stands and applauds their current Armsmaster.
Britanny (Cheering): YAY MOM!
Carla Luan (Cheering): YAAAAAAAY! ARMSMASTER JULIA BRIGAND! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!
Julia smiles when she hears her daughter cheering But a thought plagues the back of her mind
Julia (Thinks): Sigh I hope Britanny won't mind what I have to do to her boyfriend today But I have to If he's done as well as I assume he has
Julia then waves to the crowds then waves towards the direction of her daughter and her daughter's friends. Julia, staying to tradition, then moves towards the staircase, taking each step one at a time. When she reaches the top, she then turns around to look all around the stadium. She waits for the people to quiet down with the cheering so that she can speak. When she has everyone's attention she clears her voice and begins.
Julia: We are now into the third and final day of the Tournament of Arms. The warriors have all fought long and hard, and we have seen who is the worthiest of all the fighters; the warrior who shall then face off against the Weaponsmasters and then myself, today! NOW, LET'S CHEER ON RANMA SAOTOME!
The crowd cheers. Julia stands a few more moments then moves towards the throne set up for her and she sits. T. Dragon then steps into the center of the Stadium and calls out.
T. Dragon: And now, I introduce once again, the champion of the Ninja Clan! A practitioner of the Yin and Yang Sects of the Anything Goes School, Amazon Wu Shu, and Neko-Ken And fan-favorite, Ranma Saotome!
Ranma runs into the arena through the same gate that Julia entered through, (The one with the sword carving). He smiles and waves to the people in the audience, the people cheering him on.
Britanny (Cheering): GO RANCHAN!
Sheila (Cheering): YOU CAN DO IT RANCHAN!
Gar (Cheering): SHOW THEM ALL WHAT YOU GOT RANMA!
Kitzia (Cheering): KICK BUTT RANMA-SENSEI! Ranma runs into the arena through his gate once again. He smiles and waves to the people in the audience, the people cheering him on.
Britanny (Cheering): YEAH! YOU GO RANCHAN!
Sheila (Cheering): MAKE US PROUD RANCHAN!
Gar (Cheering): SHOW US WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF!
Kitzia (Cheering): SHOW THEM THAT YOU'RE THE GREATEST!
Luan (Cheering): GO RANMA!
Carla (Cheering): YOU CAN DO WELL RANMA! WE HAVE FAITH IN YOU!
Thropan (Cheering): YOU CAN DO IT RANMA!

Kitzia: Louder.

Kitzia: CHEER LOUDER!

Kitzia then sucker punches one of the bodyguards. The other werelion bodyguards stare at their weretigress princess in shock.
Kitzia: Now CHEER LOUDER!
Werelions #2-#4: YAAAAAAAAAAYYY RANMA! GO RANMA! KICK ALL BUTT RANMA SAOTOME! Kitzia (Smiles cutely): Better!
Ranma sweat-drops at the 'warm-welcome' he's receiving
Ranma (Thinks): Well Kitzia does mean well I think
Sabbo: Yeah! That's some good cheering!
Britanny, Sheila, Gar, Thropan, Carla, Luan, and Kitzia then turn their heads to their left, and see Sabbo sitting in the row with them. He wears his usual attire however, bags of popcorn, peanuts, some hotdogs, plates of nachos, cups of soda surround him, and he wears a huge Styrofoam finger on his left hand, and waves a pennant that says, "Ranma" with his right hand.
Sheila, Gar, Thropan: SABBO!?
Britanny: Who's the Hawaiian?
Luan: Why's he wearing a grass-skirt?
Carla: What a strange, fat man
Kitzia: HEY! I didn't pay so much gold so you could sit here with us!
Gar gets up and stares Sabbo in the face.
Gar: Look, I don't know how the nine hells you got here, but you're leaving!
Sabbo: Relax; relax my irate jagwere scrubject I brought peace offerings Now WHO LIKES HOTDOGS?
Britanny, Sheila, Gar, Thropan, Carla, Luan, and Kitzia (Stare at Sabbo):
Sabbo: Um How about a tuna fish sandwich? I packed some of those too.
Britanny (Eyes sparkle): DEAL!
Sabbo hands Britanny a sandwich, which she happily munches on.
T. Dragon then steps off of the platform with Ranma.
Ranma: Hey, how've you been doing T. Dragon?
T. Dragon: Pretty well, can't complain. You?
Ranma: Same. Just waiting to start fighting is all.
T. Dragon: Okay Well, let me introduce the group from which two you will choose to fight Allow me to introduce the ten Weaponsmasters of Jade!
There is a silence as the people quiet down.
T. Dragon: I introduce the Grandmaster of Anything Goes, Yin-sect! The teacher of the Anything Goes Yin-sect, Master Leep!
There is a bit of cheering, as a gate with a banner with a Yin-yang lifts up. Master Leep steps out of it, and the gate closes behind him.
Ranma (Waves): Hey old goat! Long time no see!
Leep (Frowns): Aw, darn it! I was hoping I would get to see you in your graduation outfit I gave you!
Ranma: Not even in your dreams!
T. Dragon: I introduce the champion of the Troll Clan! The teacher, artisan, and master of Aura Magic, Brod!
There is a bit of cheering, as a gate with a banner with a book lifts up. Brod steps out of it, and the gate closes behind him.
Ranma: Hello again Brod! Thanks for helping me with my studies.
Brod: You're welcome. Would you like to come by to study again?
Ranma: I said it to Leep, and I'll say it to you "Not even in your dreams!"
Brod: Phooey!
T. Dragon: I introduce the champion of the Dark Elf Clan! A War Mage, and practitioner of kickboxing, Karia!
There is a lot of cheering, as a gate with a banner with a fist lifts up. Karia steps out of it, and the gate closes behind her.
Ranma: Hello again Karia! I hope you aren't made about what happened to your gym And what happened a few months back with Brit and Sheila.
Karia: No worries.
T. Dragon: I introduce the leader of the Ninja Clan! A master of Ninjitsu, Tsunami!
There is a bit of cheering, as a gate with a banner with a kunai lifts up. Tsunami walks out of it, and the gate closes behind him.
Ranma (Bows slightly): Hello again Tsunami! Thanks for all your help.
Tsunami: ~You're welcome. I am quite pleased you've fought so well, while under the banner of the Ninja Clan.~
Sabbo: GO RANMA! KICK HIS WITHERED NINJA-ASS!
Tsunami (Glares): ~SABBO!~
Sabbo: Yes! It's me! Now GO RANMA! KICK HIS ASS!
Tsunami ~Will you SHUT UP!?~
Sabbo: NO!
Tsunami: ~That's it!~
Tsunami jumps from his position, and into the stands where he proceeds to beat the crap out of Sabbo.
Sabbo (Being beaten up): OW! HEY! STOP! THAT HURTS! OW! YOU BIT ME! OW! HE'S STABBING ME! HE'S STABBING ME IN BROAD DAY LIGHT, AND NO ONE'S HELPING!
Tsunami finally finished up beating on Sabbo and gets a standing ovation. He then jumps down from the seating area and back into the arena, and stands against his gate once more.
Tsunami (Smiles): ~I feel so much better now ~
Sabbo (Bloody mess): I need some beer Sweet Soothing Beer
T. Dragon: I introduce the champion of the Shadow Elf Clan! A master of chi, ki, and practitioner of his own pole-arm style, Rhaoton!

Ranma (Blushes): MUMSEY!
Mumsey: Well, have you?
Ranma (Blushes a deep red): We'll discuss this later
Mumsey: Fair enough
Julia smiles The thought of grandchildren of her own goes through her head.
T. Dragon: I introduce the 'underdog' of the Weaponsmasters! A werejaguar, and former pirate with her own swashbuckling style, Aeila!
There is a bit of cheering and, surprisingly, a bit of booing, as a gate with a banner with a sword, (Same gate Ranma went through) lifts up. Aeila steps out of it, and the gate closes behind her.
Sheila (Glares at people behind her): STOP BOOING MY MOM YOU JERKS!
Gar (Shouting at people behind him): YEAH! YOU KEEP BOOING OUR MOM, AND I WILL KICK YOUR ASSES!
The people begin to quiet down with Gar's threat.
Ranma: Hello again Aeila Say, why are people booing you?
Aeila: What can I say? I was a pirate after all We're just not popular
Ranma: Okay.
T. Dragon: I introduce the final Weaponsmaster! A warrior Rakshasa, master of mimicry, and his own broadsword style, Gamadore!
There is a bit of cheering and a bit of booing, as a gate with a banner with a Griffon lifts up. A male Gamadore steps out of it, and the gate closes behind him.
Ranma: Hello again Gamadore Sorry about your tower
Gamadore just glares at Ranma.
T. Dragon: Now Ranma, these are the Weaponsmasters. Choose two to face in battle!
Ranma: Okay I choose
Leep: HOLD! Everyone stares at Leep The others stare at the old goat.
T. Dragon: Um Yes, Master Leep? Leep: I for one, refuse to fight Ranma Saotome.
T. Dragon: What!?
Leep: He has already defeated me As you can see by the gi top he has, he is the GRANDMASTER of MY SCHOOL! He is on par with me So, I cannot in my mind fight him, since he has already won.
T. Dragon: Okay, well from the nine other Weaponsmasters, who do you
Brod: Wait! I refuse to fight Ranma for similar reasons I have fought with him before And lost. I would be no challenge to him
Gneiss: And I as well have lost to him already rather easily
T. Dragon: Um Okay Well Ranma, from seven choices
Karia: Six choices
T. Dragon: Eh?
Karia: He's beaten me already I refuse to fight him, since he earned his right to pass me already.
T. Dragon: Okay Well how about you other Weaponsmasters?
Rhaoton: Ranma was a great challenge He came to me, we battled, and I lost I will not fight him
Mumsey: He had defeated me in combat fair-and-square. I could not keep up with him, so I had to admit defeat. (Thinks: And will eventually give me great-grandchildren!)
Tsunami: ~I as well admit defeat He may not have defeated me physically, but I lost more in the moral sense He is my superior ~
Gamadore: Though I do not like to think about it, he defeated me! Worse, HE DESTROYED MY TOWER!
Aeila: I admit defeat He defeated me in fair combat (Thinks: And helped me live again somewhat And he will eventually give me grandchildren!)
T. Dragon (Blinks): Okay Wow
There is now a lot of murmuring throughout the arena All eyes fall on G'nolga who is smirking to herself
T. Dragon: Um G'nolga?
G'nolga: Ranma
Ranma: Yes? G'nolga: You and I both know how our fight ended up, so let me just say this Give Julia one for me!
T. Dragon: Wow Very well Hmm I think this is a first in the history of the Tournament of Arms where a person won't have to fight two of the Weaponsmasters In any case, Ranma, YOU'RE NOW GOING TP FACE THE HOST!
There is murmuring within the crowd They've never seen anything like this
Britanny: Go Ranchan! Now only one more fight for him
Sheila: I wonder if he can do it
So Ranma goes up to fight the host of the tournament, the Armsmaster And boy does Ranma get a shock when he realizes who the title of "host" pertains to He sees Julia begin to descend the staircase from her balcony seat slowly Her eyes are steady and trained on Ranma's who has the look of a deer-caught-in-headlights.
Ranma: M, m, MASTER JULIA!?
Julia walks onto the fighting platform across from Ranma.
Julia: Hello my pupil. It is good to see that you have been able to keep up with the quest that I had put you on. And why are you surprised to see me? Have you forgotten that I am the Armsmaster of Jade?
Ranma covers his face with his hand and groans slightly. He DID forget Well, only one thing to do now Fight
T. Dragon: And now, onto the main event! THE FINAL FIGHT!
With that, many people start cheering.
T. Dragon: I once again introduce the champion of the Ninja Clan! A practitioner of the Yin and Yang Sects of the Anything Goes School, Amazon Wu Shu, and Neko-Ken Ranma Saotome!
The people cheer for Ranma as they usually do.
Britanny (Cheering): DON'T GET HURT TOO BADLY RANCHAN!
Sheila (Cheering): YOU CAN SURVIVE RANCHAN!
Gar (Cheering): YOU CAN SURVIVE RANMA, I HAVE FAITH!
Ranma (Sweat-drops): No one thinks I can beat you, huh?
Julia (Sweat-drops): Pretty much
T. Dragon: And now, a woman who needs NO introduction But I shall give one anyway I introduce the champion of the Giant Clan! A practitioner of the Yin Sect of the Anything Goes School The Armsmaster of Jade, and host of the Tournament of Arms, JULIA BRIGAND-DIGGERS!
The applause that follows is deafening Everyone is the coliseum is cheering, hooting, hollering, and overall showing their support for their Armsmaster.
T. Dragon: Now, rules are a bit different for the Final Fight. There is still no killing. There is still no maiming. This time, you cannot win by disarming your opponent, or having your opponent forfeit. You can only win by knocking your opponent unconscious or you work your opponent into a situation where they cannot win; a "checkmate"! Understand?
Ranma: Yes!
Julia: Understood.
T. Dragon: Okay then Ready BEGIN!
Ranma and Julia take a few moments to study each other; Ranma unsheathes his katana and holds it at the ready, while Julia does the same with her sword
The whole arena is deathly quiet Ranma can feel almost everyone is looking at him All the Weaponsmasters that circle around the edges of the fighting arena All the people in the stands And his former teacher; who is now his opponent
Ranma (Thinks): So It all comes down to this This is where I find out how well all my questing and training has paid off I really hope I can at least do decently when fighting her
Julia (Thinks): So nervous Yet I can see while he is nervous deep down, he keeps his body on the ready, preparing to give this all that he may have I'm proud of him
Then, without warning, both Ranma and Julia are upon each other in a split-second, both their swords locked. And unfortunately for Ranma, Julia is still stronger physically.
Ranma (Thinks, struggles with his katana): DAMN! She's still stronger than me!
Julia (Thinks, struggles with her sword): Impressive! His strength has increased at least-

Ranma feels his hold on his block fading Then his eyes widen in fear as Julia presses on her attack Her sword is beginning to cut through Ranma's katana
Ranma (Thinks, wide-eyed): F*CK!
Ranma then does a risky maneuver but it pays off for the most part. He manages to break the block and jump backwards into a roll Without his sword blocking, Julia brings her sword down in a powerful strike that goes into the floor of the fighting arena, narrowly missing Ranma as he moves back.
Ranma breathes in a slightly heavy manner Not because he's tired, but more out of fear That really would have hurt Then he widens his eyes as Julia runs towards him.
Ranma (Thinks): That's it!
Ranma then lunges towards Julia's legs, however, she brings up her foot, kicking Ranma in the jaw and making his body rise into the air. Julia, with her foot still up then does a full 360-degree turn, doing a roundhouse-kick, which catches Ranma's abdomen, and sends him flying away from her.
Ranma (Thinks, lies on ground): Ow Damn
Ranma's eyes narrow in on Julia who is moving closer to him.
Ranma: Damn it! I have to fight!
Ranma then shakes off the blows he received and runs at Julia again. However, as Julia goes to strike at him with her sword, Ranma dodges it, and does a flip-kick, which hits Julia in the jaw and she stumbles a few steps back However Ranma's eyes widen in pain and he doesn't manage to land, on his feet but in a heap.
Ranma (Thinks): F*CK! MY FOOT HURTS!
Julia feels her jaw and smiles.
Julia (Thinks, smiles): Impressive I actually felt that Nowhere near as powerful as an Ogre's punch at half-strength, but it's very impressive if I felt that Too bad he'll have really hurt his foot.
Ranma manages to get back onto his feet with some effort
Ranma (Thinks): Damn! My right root is killing me And Master Julia doesn't seem that hurt either
Ranma grimaces He admits to himself that me might be a 'bit' out-classed
Ranma then starts running at Julia again. She frowns He can't win if he keeps going at her like this Julia does a full swing with he sword to make him move back, but as before, Ranma manages to duck under the attack. He then does an uppercut and hits Julia in the jaw once more And as before his eyes widen in pain.
Ranma (Thinks): OW!
Julia blinks She really felt that one. She then does an open-handed palm strike to Ranma's abdomen so she can gain some room. Ranma falls to his hands and knees and coughs up a bit of blood.
Ranma (Thinks): DAMN IT!
Ranma blinks as he sees Julia move towards him slowly. Ranma forces himself onto his feet and gets into a fighting stance Julia nods her head, impressed by Ranma's tenacity to keep fighting.
Julia (Thinks): Now that's stamina
Julia then takes off to Ranma like a rocket. Ranma then smiles He has an idea he throws his sword into the air and then runs to her and tries the Katchu Tenshin Amaguriken, Julia manages to evade all of his strikes Then she realizes something's not right when she hears people screaming
Julia (Thinks): HIS KATANA!
Julia then brings her sword up and strikes the katana away as it falls down to her. She curses herself for falling for her technique
Julia (Thinks): NO! NO I'M OFF BALANCE!
Ranma uses Julia's state to his advantage as he keeps punching her in the same spot of her abdomen over and over again. Julia's eyes widen as she feels true pain. She tries to bring her fists down to hit Ranma, but then he uses her head to head-butt Julia.
Julia steps back, her body starting to protest Her stomach is alive with pain, and that head-butt hurt! Worse, trying to reach up to strike his katana also hurt her back Julia looks at Ranma She can tell his ankle hurts from when he kicked her, and his hand and wrist hurt At least his head doesn't seem too bad.
Julia (Thinks): Okay Now we're on a more even level for fighting Except he doesn't have his sword
Julia then tosses her sword to the side and gets into a fighting stance The fight is now hand-to-hand combat!
Ranma runs at Julia and the two share blows Both are getting as much as they receive, as they aren't concentrating at blocking, but just getting in as many hits as possible
Ranma grimaces He's nowhere near as strong as Julia, but his stamina and endurance are high After all All that 'endurance training' with Britanny and Sheila was more effective than training in the Baksai Tenketsu with nuclear missiles!
Ranma (Thinks): Hmm I guess all that lovemaking with Britchan and Shechan really pays off
After a few more moments of intense punching, both break away Both Ranma and Julia are covered in bruises Julia's attacks had more force, but Ranma could actually take the blows a bit more easily than Julia could with hers.
Julia: Impressive
Ranma (Breathes heavily): Yeah
Julia: Let's end this
Ranma nods his head Both stand perfectly still Gathering their own physical strength They are trying to focus all their power into one last strike Then it happens Ranma feels the 'cat' within him The darkness of the Neko-Ken His rage flares as he suppresses it And that rage he uses to suppress the sudden evil feeling is what he needs
Both take off at each other like a bullet
And then life seems to move in slow motion
Both smash each other in the face with their fists
Both start to fall to the ground and lie there No one knows what to do Then it happens
Ranma manages to lift himself to his hands and feet He makes it to his feet, and he stands with a wobble T. Dragon walks up to the arena to check Julia She is unconscious, but alive.
T. Dragon: THE FIGHT IS OVER! AND THE WINNER, AND NEW ARMSMASTER OF JADE; RANMA SAOTOME!
The audience is stunned silent for a moment Then it breaks out into a thunderous roar of cheering and applause.
Britanny (Cheering): YOU DID IT RANCHAN! YOU ACTUALLY DID IT!
Sheila (Cheering): WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU RANCHAN!
Ranma looks around There is so much noise, so much life Everyone has their focus on him Then a thought hits him What T. Dragon said.
Ranma (Wide-eyed): N, n, "new Armsmaster of Jade"?
This is al too much for Ranma, so he can only do the expected He faints, and falls to the floor face-first
In the Bayankala mountain range, on the ledge of one of the mountain, we see a VERY familiar glasses and robes wearing fighter Mousse He had been following the Amazon group and Herb, to be there when they find Ranma But
Mousse (Looks around): I can't find them! Where's they go!? (Gets angry). Curse you Ranma Saotome! This is your entire fault! Shampoo should have been mine now! She should have given up on you and accepted me as her love!
Mousse looks around again Everything is blurry to him; not that he would admit to it He then notices a female blur.
Mousse (Happy): IT'S HER! SHAMPOO!
Mousse then glomps onto the female shape If he could truly see her, he would notice that thee woman has no hair to speak of
Mousse (Hugs woman): Oh Shampoo! I missed you so much!
Zelda (Eye twitches): Who the f*ck are you!?
Mousse: Oh, don't play games Shampoo!
Zelda then pulls Mousse off of her and beats the crap out of him. Daishi appears next to her and stares at her actions
Zelda (Stepping on Mousse): Don't know, and I don't care! HE'S GONNA DIE!
Mousse (Delirious): Oh Shampoo Come back to the Amazon Village
Daishi (Raises and eyebrow): Amazon village?
Zelda (Stops pounding on Mousse for a moment): Are you an Amazon by any chance
Mousse (Nods his head): Yes
Zelda: Cool! Zelda then hits Mousse on the head and hard! He is unconscious Zelda then lifts him up and places him over her shoulder.
Zelda: Well, I got us an Amazon
Daishi: Great Now that we have an Amazon we can go home Master Talon is waiting.
Zelda: Great. I want to get out of this filthy place Too many strange things are going on around here for my tastes
Daishi (Raises an eyebrow): Hmm You act as though 'weird' stuff doesn't happen back home either
Zelda: At least I'm used to that stuff Like Peebos Explosions Werecheetahs Magic Robots of all shapes and sizes Huge shipments of tune Demons Witches on broomsticks with talking cats Aliens Ninjas assassins Super-smart girls Heavy artillery And Leprechauns just to name a few

Next Time: It is the day after the final battle of the Tournament of Arms. Ranma is now the new Armsmaster Author's note: And, I would like to share a little information. And time once again to answer questions This is the basic format for a question many people have asked me
"Speaking of future grandkids for Julia, Nodoka, and Aeila, why do I get the feeling that both Brit and Sheila are already with child? And that one of them at least with twins? Considering how often they do it, it wouldn't surprise me."
My response Actually, neither is pregnant yet! I believe in a theory that Fred has. That it's incredibly hard, but NOT impossible to crossbreed magical species, (such as Werecats, Giants, Elves) with more basic species, (such as Humans, and animals).
Here's the instances Fred sets up.
Julia and Theo. They've gone at it HOW MANY TIMES SINCE THEY WERE MARRIED!? And since Julia came back, almost every night a MANY TIMES! And what was the result of all of it? Only one child Gina.
Britanny and Stripe. The best example for my fic. Britanny and Stripe have been married for years, and have had sex almost every chance they get! And it's only going to be recently! (Well, should be starting in sometime within the summer, for Gold Digger's 10th Anniversary) that Britanny is FINALLY pregnant!
So basically, Ranma is in the clear for a while... But, when he changes when he gains mastery over the Neko-Ken... He is going to end up with children rather quickly and most easily... ^_~
