Madararennigan: Sorry bout the wait but my brain froze. Also in regards to what happened in Naruto recently. I will continue to use the name of the sage that I came up with thus making him an OC. I have a backstory going which is not completly in line with the current story and thus I cannot bring myself to change it even though there is little of the story written.
Day after mob attack, council chambers
It was a bright sunny day in the Leaf village and Danzo was angry. Why was he angry do you ask, why he hated everything except power, which he didn't have and the power of the Leaf, which he thought was weak. But he now had a plan in order to take power in the village. The Kyubbi container was blamed for a large amount of civilian deaths the night before. Danzo planned to use this incident to banish the boy, then when he was alone to take him for ROOT.
"So, distinguished members of the council, as you can see that the Kyubbi brat was the one responsible for last nights atrocities therefore for the safety and protection of the village I ask for a vote on banishment.
Just at that moment the Third arrived with little Naruto in tow. "Well, ok then, as Hokage I vote no, so you can all shut the fuck up. As a matter of fact, why the hell are you even discussing this. As Hokage I am the only person on this council that has any real power over the civillians and Ninja of the village. And furthermore I am the only one allowed to kick off a council meeting and starting without me is an act of treason, one which I will let slide THIS time. Next time I will send you to Ibiki for this insubordination."
After that decleration the council was commpletly silent. The reason was that after the Fox's attack the council, specificly the civillians had been gaining more power. The Hokage had, in his old age just went along with it due to the sake of peace. It can be inferred by the looks of joy on the Clan heads, and fear in the civillians that the council was happy for the return of the God of Shinobi. Hell, even the league of miserable old people known as Koharu, Homura, and Danzo were happy to see Hiruzen back in his Professor Mode. Secretly they had been making things more difficult to try and get him fed up enough to retaliate.
"Now as the Hokage is finally here I declare this meeting of the High Council of Konoha officially opened. The first item for discussion is the murder of several innocent civillians last night. Before anything else is said I would like to assure the civillians that we had the killer and he will most likely not be killing any more civillains."
After the hokage was done speaking the head of the civilian representation stood up. "Lord Hokage, we have heard from several witnesses who came to us that the killer is none other than Naruto Uzumaki. As you can see he has now taken to killing inoccents in cold blood, along with this several jonin claim to have felt the Kubbi's chakra in the alley where the murder occurred. You must see that the beast has now taken over and for the safety of the village that boy must be killed."
"And did you by any chance take into account that the men and women who were killed were infact trying to kill the child in question?" The Hokage asked to the, remarkably stupid, civilian head.
Danzo then decided that it was time to make his move. (To clarify, Danzo is not truly evil, he just has a very misguided sense of love for Konoha. Thus anything that makes the village stronger makes him happy, such as the Hokage getting serious again. However he still thinks that he should have more power than he does. Once again he is not truly evil, however he does the nessesary evils that he thinks will help the village. Sorry for the rant.) "Hiruzen, if I may be so bold. I suggest that in order to prevent any more outbursts for self defense that that child be placed under my care. I would be able to train him to control the power he was given."
"Well Danzo, while I have no doubts that you would be able to train him well, you would also turn him into an emotionless drone like the rest of your ROOT forces. Yes I do know you still continued ROOT as I just killed one that was spying on a meeting between Naruto and I. The ONLY reason that you have not been arrested is that I do recognize that you have created a nessesary evil. However, should any of your men be connected to the village I will denounce you as a traitor and have you and all your ROOT executed. Now sit down as your request is now and forever denied."
However the civilians just didn't know when to quit as one yelled out, "So what, that monster killed our friends and he just gets off without any punishment."
"Oh, I am so glad that you asked that, you see poor Naruto was not the one to kill the civilians. As a matter of fact I learned something rather interesting about the seal that my predecessor created. As I am sure you all know the seal was created to keep the Kyubbi locked away. What was not known was that Minato decided to add in a very strong failsafe incase anyone decided to damage the seal, you know like some drunken civilians who were told that Naruto was the Kyubbi. This failsafe was incredibly powerful and was used to summon powerful men who died long ago, well I say men, but it might be better to allow them to introduce themselves. Naruto would you please come in here now. Council, let me introduce to you the container of the Kyubbi, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze son of the Lord Fourth Hokage."
The council burst into protest (just the civilians mind you) about how "The demon cannot be the son of the great Lord Fourth". However the clan council was keeping a much more open mind, and an open bottle of sake, along with some popcorn, these meetings were very entertaining. Anyway the Third shut up the civilians in the most diplomatic way possible also know as he glared at them until they shit their pants. Then he motioned Naruto to come in.
"Ok, Naruto, I need you to tell the council what you told me about the attack last night." And so Naruto explained yet again about what happened in the alley and meeting with the Fourth and the Others, leaving out the fact about what they were until later. And for all of you who were expecting the council to freak out and demand proof and such, they didn't. I mean after all the crap that had happened they were just about ready to believe anything. The only thing they asked was to make sure the seal was secure and that was done quickly. However Shikaku wanted to know what the Hokage meant when he said they would introuduce themselves.
"Well as a matter of fact, young Naruto now has the ability to summon them outside of the seal if he so wishes. If you want any more confirmation of what I said then Naruto can summon the Lords (You will see why they're called that) to tell you. Actually maybey it would be best Naruto, take it away." "Ok, Ninja Art: Summoning: High Lords of Chaos."
Before the astonished council a large plum of smoke appeared and out of it stepped 3 large men. 2 of them were recognized from the stories of old and the face on the mountain outside of the window. The third man no one recognized, except for one man with a pair of red eyes that looked like a pinwheel. Danzo spoke up, "Hiruzen, are these two who I think they are, how are they still alive." "As a matter of fact Danzo, yes they are, council I have the pleasure of introducing you to the Sage of the Six Paths, and the great pleasure of reintroducing you to Minato Namikaze, the Lord Fourth Hokage. The third man you will not know he is…".
He was about to introduce Shiki but was cut off by Fugaku Uchiha, head of the Uchiha Clan. "I know the name of this man, it is written in the oldest scrolls of our clan. This is Shiki Lord of the Eternal Whirlpool, also known as Shiki Uzumaki, founder of the clan and the sensei of the Sage. He was one of the most powerful men in the world until he disappeared one day. It was rumored that at one point he killed an entire army with a single word."
The council was awestruck, except the Uchiha who had just said that, and Naruto who knew. However the Hokage was not gasping at the revelation but at the 6-way poker game in front of him, which was currently tied between the four Royal Flushes held by the three Uzumaki and the Uchiha, while all he had was 2 twos, one 5, one 7, and a 3. Curse the two clans and their devils luck, he had just lost 50000 Ryo, a small ornate statue of the holy Log, and he had to treat the whole party to a dinner at the ramen stand, a large amount indeed. When the staring was done, and the IOU's issued from the Hokage and Minato, the three stepped up to speak. Shiki was the first to speak.
"As you heard the Uchiha say my name is Shiki and I am known as the Lord of the Eternal Whirlpool. Next to me you know Minato Namikaze the Lord Fourth Hokage, and the other is known to you as the Sage of the Six Paths, his name is Ryu Uzumaki and during his time alive he was known as the Lord of Creation. And in order to understand us I need you to listen to the story I am about to tell you without interrupting me. A long time ago before the humans gained the power to use chakra, the world was ruled by great demons of destruction known as the Biju, you know of these because you were attacked by the Lord of the lower tier, Kurama the Kyubbi no Yoko, and because of this you have a very bad view of the Biju. The truth is that many wanted to help your kind, but too many others corrupted them and the King of the Biju was forced to seal them all away. The ones who started the corruption were known as the lower tier and after the rest of the corrupted were sealed away the last nine came to the attention of the King, his fury was great and decided that the beasts were too strong to leave alone, even sealed away, as long as they had a mind of their own, so he used his infinite powers to strip them of any mind they had and turned them into a tree, he himself gave up much of his power to watch this tree for all eternity. I was the King, and my plan was great had one thing not gone wrong. When I had children they had greater strength than others but no ability to use chakra, however my granddaughter did and I taught her. Soon afterwards I began to feel the tree begin to stir but I thought nothing of it. Later when my great-grandson was born due to the exposure to the new chakra energy more people were able to use this power. The tree stired more and more each year and I began to train Ryu in order to combate what was soon to happen."
Shiki paused for a second to look around and to gather his thoughts saw the looks of horror on the faces of the civillians, and the looks of interest on the faces of the clans.
"Soon the tree changed in order to destroy this familiar energy, my familiar energy. It became the being known as the 10-tailed beast or the jubi. It was a monsterous being that had no mind and no purpose but to destroy the chakra users. For several years it destroyed the world, killing anything in its wake. Then at last Ryu and I went to face the beast, the battle was fierce, as a matter of fact this battle shapped Lighting Country. After many days of battle Ryu and I used a forbidden jutsu called the Fuinjutsu: Seal of the Six Paths. Using this we sealed the beast into Ryu and in during so made him a Biju as well, many years later as he neared the end of his days of mortal existence he used the Creation of all things to recreate the Nine Lower tier beasts with new minds and who worked with humans, until you people attacked them. The rest you know, now if you have any questions I will take them now." As predicted by most the council burst into protest and questions.
"Lord Hokage there are demons here you must kill them." "My Lord we must seal these creatures away and use them as a weapon." "I like trains."
"Fools, are you so stupid as to provoke these men to kill you all. If you recall, even though I managed to push the kyubi outside the village, we needed Minato to seal it. These men are 1000 times stronger. I demand that they be treated with respect and no longer be antagonized. As it stands, you civilians are a thorn in my side and know nothing about running this village. The civilian council is disbanded because I feel like it." The Third spoke and the council was removed before they could even protest. He then turned his attention to the men, who went back to playing poker. "And as for you three Lords, what are you going to do. Mayby it would be best if one of you, say Minato, took on the Hokage position to better save the village from the fools."
"No, for two reasons. First, you just want to get out of the job and away from the paperwork, and we aren't kind enough to let you. Second, we are summons, therefore we are unable to stay in this world indefinitely. Soon we will return to the seal, but we will still be able to give advice if need be, but for now, as they say in my home country, Auf Wiedersein."
" And on that note, the council is dismissed. Naruto, I wish to talk with you in my office. At once!"
