Hey everyone! How ya doin? SilentFang here with an exclusive preview to a small section of the first chapter in a new fic i've been toying around with. It's a pseudo crossover with a lot of other franchises where Naruto traveled around the world with his adoptive family (Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan), learns a lot of things and returns to the Elemental Nations to proverbially 'fuck shit up' so to speak. Please read and review, and tell me what you think! You guys are the driving force for this one!

Naruto started walking towards the front of the ship where the giant serpent was located, still growling menacingly at the passengers of the vessel. "You know..." Naruto started "I've blamed myself all this time. Even though everyone thought that the reason every vessel that left the continent never returned because there was nothing else out there, we had enough supplies to last us months. We were never prepared to face giant sea serpents. Hell, you guys are so big we decided to call you 'Sea Kings'. You, being the biggest and baddest of them, I decided to name the 'King of the Coast'"

Naruto looked the monster in the eye. "Back then, when you and over 100 of your brethren attacked our ship, we barely survived. The last one to attack us directly caused me to fall overboard y'know? But since everyone thought it was the last one nobody panicked as much as they should have. But lo an behold, as my father jumped onto the water, you decide to show your ugly mug. And then I did something unforgivable..." Naruto sighed and looked at the cloudy sky

"I froze from fear. I was afraid, and it cost my father his arm. Even after Nagato-ojisan and Kaa-san forced you to run away and let us escape, I hated myself for it. At the time, Tou-san told me that 'It was just an arm' that he'd do it again and again just to save my life... but that made it worse. They had been training me for 2 years at that point. I could already walk on water. I had the skills to at least get far enough away so you wouldn't have taken his arm... even though I was only 6, I was disgusted with my own cowardice. Especially after watching Tou-san work so hard to fight off that infection and all the rigorous training he put himself though so he could use his jutsu with one hand."

Naruto stopped again and returned his gaze to the beast in front of him. "I spent the last 11 years training myself into the ground. Putting my body and mind through hell, learning various arts from all over the world, discovering my own powers and the powers of others... so I would never feel so useless ever again." The serpent seemed to have enough of watching it's prey babble on and slowly reared it's entire back about 30 meters to attack. It was obviously trying to sink the ship in one go.

"Y'know, when Tou-san and Oji-san left us to go back to the Elemental Nations a few years ago to help overthrow Hanzo, I was admittedly glad that the letter they sent to us said that they hadn't run into you." The serpent let out a hissing roar and lunged at the boat.

"Because no matter how much good I did, or how many people I saved..." The serpent was now 20 meters from the boat

"Allowing you to eat my fathers arm will always count as my first true failure." Naruto slipped his arm from under his cloak, flattening his hand into a knife-like position while making sure there were no spaces between his fingers while raising it above his head as the serpent got closer.

"But now..." The monster was 15 meters from the boat.

"I'm strong enough to make sure nothing like that ever happens again." 10 meters

"So all this entire conversation is..." 5 meters.

"Is closure." When the monster was one meter away from smashing into the boat, Naruto brought his arm down in a slashing motion, which stopped the Sea King's momentum without touching it. The blonde turned on his heel, walking back to his two companions, who heard him mutter the name of his attack "Hougetsu Jigen-Tou (Moon Crushing Dimentional Sword)"

The sea king's body slowly started to split vertically, before the two halves split apart, staining the water red with blood and allowing the small vessel to continue it's voyage.

So how did you like it? In this small section here I referenced both One Piece and Rosario+Vampire. The formula will mostly be a chapter or two of the main story, then a flashback chatper(s) of his adventures with another group of protagonists from another series he met whilst travelling. I will also include little omake's at the end of some chapters that show Naruto and friends' misadventures. Hell, I'll even take some suggestions on what to put in them.
