Chapter 5: Taking the Risk

He is slowly getting addicted to her. He can't get enough of her sweet lips and how divine she tastes. Naru was put out of his perverted thoughts with a sharp snap of a finger. His once relaxed shoulders, though miniscule, jumped at the sound. Embarrassed, though he didn't show it, he cleared his throat and scowled at the man in front of him, who was reprimanding him and Mai of their reckless and stupid actions earlier.
"As much as I'm thrilled on knowing you two FINALLY sucked it up and got together, I am disappointed that the both of you will surrender to urges. Especially you, Noll. "
Ugh. I should stop doing Mai in my mind. "I apologize for being inattentive lately. Do not worry, Lin. Mai and I know the consequences of our activities and rest assured none of you will be attending a shotgun wedding anytime soon. Right, love?"
"Ahh.. Yeah. What Naru said. We are perfectly careful. I even have a condom in my pockets just.. in… case…."
By the time the word condom rolled out of her tongue, the three men in the room looked at Mai with widened eyes and lightly parted lips. Realizing she had said something she shouldn't have, she tried to fix her mistake but turned up speechless while blushing. Her blush darkened when Yasuhara, Lin and Naru simultaneously blurted their own opinion on her earlier "confession".
"How bold, Mai-chan~"
"Mai-san, I never would have thought.."
"Lin, Yasuhara. OUT. NOW."
Unable to hide her (still) ever-growing blush, she hastily got up and embarrassingly bolted to the bathroom immediately locking her in.
"Awww~ Mai-chan's so cute when she's embarrassed!"
"Yasuhara, although I agree with what you said I suggest you refrain from addressing her intimately. Unless you don't want a certain someone to castrate your balls and hang them as prize money on her rearview mirror."
"Oohh~ Big Boss' jealou-"
"I had her as one of my speed dials. Don't push it."
"Ahahaha~ Just kidding, Big Boss."
Lin let out a sigh that was easily lost to the other two men. Hormonal idiots.
"I'll go check on Mai-san and hope she didn't die of humiliation."
"I'll do that, Lin."
Before Lin could insist, Naru swiftly made a beeline to the bathroom and softly called the brunette's name. Yasuhara and Lin watched the scene before them with mirth. They rarely see Naru show his soft, gentle side and most of it happens around the woman he's currently soothing on the other side of the bathroom door.
After a few more murmured words, the sound of the lock clicking off signaled them the success of Naru calming her down. Mai left the confines of her temporary hide out and faced the guys.
"Sorry for what I said. I was unconsciously rambling and.. and.. please forget it!"
Her blush, although toned down a little, was still visible. Naru then went behind her and hugged her soothingly. He whispered something to her ear which made the young woman exhibit an amusing shift of emotions on her face. In the end she just shyly bowed her head to the side.
"Don't worry Mai. We won't tell anyone. And if you want us to forget about it, consider it done!" Yasuhara winked at her playfully.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about, Mai-san. At least you think about your future. Although I do hope Naru will restrain his little friend a bit longer." Turning Lin's attention to Naru, "I do trust you keep your own stash, Noll. And check the expiration date."
Fits of giggles could be heard from Yasuhara and the now cheered-up Mai. Naru, on the other hand, couldn't believe Lin scolded him like a little boy who forgot to put on his bicycle safety gear.
"I do check them, Lin. You don't have to worry about that."
"If you wanted to ask anything about sex, just approach us. Except John. I can't believe you two can finally join the bandwagon OFFICIALLY!"
Despite Yasuhara's comedic look, the young couple before him sent him murderous glares. Lin, sighed once again. Unaffected by the deadly look radiating off of Mai and Naru, Yasuhara continued.
"Look, all of SPR knows both of you are still virgins. Both of you. And John. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Although we did bet, but mostly on Big Boss, that the two of you will be the first on our THEN batch of innocent virgins to do the deed."
Lin looked at Yasuhara and silently prayed for his soul to be salvaged, albeit little.
"Yasuhara, if you still value your life you will shut up."
"Naru, let's just kill him."
"We can't. She will not like it if we send Yasuhara to the afterlife. Besides, she'll be the one to do it."
"Haha. Very funny Big Boss."
This is gonna be a very long day. Lin sighed, again, dejectedly at the still bickering young adults.
Sorry for the late update. I was busy reading some GH and FMA fanfics recently.
I added a bit of comedy before Naru and Mai get down to their dirty business *winks*
