Anyhoo, I've decided to carry on with the, put my iPods on shuffle and make a chapter about each character to that song. I got nightmare, by avenged sevenfold, so its skulduggery in the portal of the faceless ones, i cried when that happened, oh and pretty please don't say any spoilers for lsotdm in reviews, I haven't read it yet, and don't get it till Christmas, so yeh.

A month…, it felt like eternity without his friends, job….Valkyrie. But he deserved it, for all the wrong he had done, he deserved to be here, for lord vile, he deserved to be here, for killing ghastly's mother, he deserved to be here, for bringing a young innocent girl in to magic... He sighed,

nearly 3 months, most of the inhabitants had been killed off, except one couple. He heard them, the screeches of the the beings in the sky, faceless ones pets he assumed, he had no idea, but that wasn't what he dwelled on. The screams.

the screams of the couple is what lifted him from his thoughts, should he save them?, he fought with his own conscious, he could very well be tortured again, and he didn't like the idea of that. But it was the least he could do, seeing as this was his personal hell, he ran to save them.

Skulduggery had started to get hallucinations, that he could handle, but the voices came with those hallucinations, and that was what he couldn't take, hearing Valkyrie scream and cry for him,

it was that time of day, the faceless ones should be here soon. he heard footsteps wait, they didn't have footsteps, nor did his hallucinations…but it could just be batu's body again.
"Skulduggery?" was that Valkyrie?, the mind can play such terrible tricks sometime,
"Skulduggery?" closer this time, maybe if he acted dead…well deader than e already is, then it would go away, and that's what he he did. "Skul?" Valkyrie reached out, when he got a sudden idea.
"BOO!" she screamed, and Skulduggery rolled on the floor laughing.
"not funny"
"yes, yes it is, you should've seen your face"
"oh hush, now come on we're getting outa here"
"Valkyrie…no, even if you are real there's no escape"
"yes there is, we found your skull and using it as an isthmus anchor, and fletcher is going to open the portal so we can go, so let's go, we need to get to where the portal will be"
"Val…as much as I've missed you, I deserve to be here, for everything I've done, the war…"
"But…"
"no!, go away and leave me to rot here"
