Dean and Sam sat in the Roadhouse, waiting for news from Bobby about Pamela. Ellen walked around the bar to answer the phone as it began to ring. After a few short minutes, Ellen turned to the boys, "Bobby say's she's alright, doctors say she won't ever see again. Apparently, her eyes are completely gone."

Dean shook his head, "We need to figure out what the hell this thing is."

Sam huffed, "And how do you propose we do that Dean? That thing burned Pamela's eyes out and she only caught a glimpse of it. What ever the hell this thing is, it's powerful, and it's changed you Dean and you know I'm not talking about that fancy new scar of yours."

Dean narrowed his eyes, "You mean that I can see the creepy crawly under your girlfriends skin? Because that's something I want to know Sam. Why were you with Ruby and why the hell did you lie about it to me? You been using your psychic thing?"

Sam paled, "No Dean, it was practically your dying wish. I couldn't go down that road."

A slow sigh came from Dean, "Don't lie to me Sammy. Why else would Ruby be there?"

Sam couldn't meet his brother's eyes, "I'm sorry Dean, I was helping. I can kill demons without harming the host. Isn't that a good thing?"

Dean's head shook, "Not the way you are doing it, there is something wrong about it, I can feel it." Wary glances were shared around the room as the brother's fought, Ash and the two women unsure what to say or do.

Sam seethed with anger, "Well what about you? You get after me for hunting with a demon but you want to summon the one powerful enough to take you out of hell? We don't even know what that thing did to you, if you can even remember."

It was Dean's turn to look away, "I remember more about hell than I want to, but I don't know what that thing is, or anything about it."

Sam's anger faltered at the sound of his brother's voice and the look in his eyes as Dean spoke of his memories of hell, "Dean, what do you remember about hell?"

Dean's head shot around, his eyes suddenly blank, as was his face, "Nothing Sam, just flashes, of pain, screaming..." Dean shook his head to clear the memories, missing the look of disbelief on his younger brother's face. Sam could tell his brother was holding back. Dean never showed how he really felt and Sam should have guessed what happened in hell would be no different. Sam sighed, wishing for once that his brother would just tell him what was going on in that head of his.

Standing up, Sam looked at Dean, "I think I need to get some air. I'll be back in a little bit." Dean nodded his head in answer, staying silent as he watched Sam leave.

As the door shut, Jo cried out, "That's it? You are just letting him leave?"

Dean shrugged, "He would have tried to stop me."

Ellen eyed Dean warily, "Stop you from doing what?"

Dean smiled, "Summoning this son of a bitch."

Three pairs of eyes widened at Dean's words. Ash shook his head, his hair flopping wildly, "You crazy man?"

Dean shrugged, "Maybe, but I want to know what took me out of hell, I don't like being in debt to monsters."

Ellen looked grim, but nodded in understanding, "What can we do to help?"

Dean smiled slightly, "I'm going to need an empty building and every summoning spell you can find."

Ellen nodded, turning to look at Jo an Ash, "I think we can do that."
