Hey, guys... sorry I have kinda gotten distracted... I have been reading this one fanfic that I wouldn't be surprised if everyone reading this has already read it, but its called The Road Not Taken by Whatif_ifonly. First, I'd like to refer you to it if you have not yet had the pleasure of reading it. It won the Profilers choice awards for JJ/Reid fanfic and its 150 chapters... not to mention addicting... so I have been kinda wrapped up in reading that, as well as getting sidetracked on my other story that I hope you guys will like; Help. Anyways, I am really liking both so have gotten distracted from this story, so heres a really short update- so sorry, i have just hit a writers block with this one. I know where I want it to go, I am just having a hard time getting there. So, I apologize i just want you guys to know I haven't given up on this story yet, so heres a little chapter to help get to the next step, hopefully.

So sorry for the long intro,

Reid, Review, ENJOY!

"Hey we just got a missing person's report about five minutes ago. She disappeared from Monument Park," JJ said, stepping down the stairs, into the bullpen.

"Who is it?" Morgan asked.

"Um... A thirty year-old woman. Brown hair... green eyes. Her name is uh... Amber Johnson."

Reid's head finally popped up from the case file he had been reading at his desk when he heard the familiar name.

"Wait, let me see that," he said, walking over to take the fax out of JJ's hands. When he saw the picture of the victim, his heart dropped.

"Reid... do- do you know who she is?"

"Well, yeah. Um... Amber... I- I-" he try to stumble through his words.

"Wait, this is that Amber, man?" Morgan said with a look of understanding as he finally put the pieces together.

JJ, still confused, asked, "Do you know her?"

"Um, yeah. She- she was the girl I met at the bar the other night."

JJ's jaw dropped as she remembered the girl she had met only a little bit ago, feeling guilty for not remembering her face, now. "Reid... I'm so sorry..."

"Hey, man," Morgan said patting him on the shoulder with a string hand, "we have a profile this time. We won't let her be the next-" he quickly stopped himself from saying body, "victim... 'kay?"

"Yeah, uh- yeah, the profile. Um... let's go give this to Hotch..." he said walking towards the Hotch's office, without looking up from the picture, and tripping over the stairs as he walked up onto the platform. JJ rushed over to try and help him up, but he quickly brushed her office, insisting he was fine, and continuing determinedly through the SSAC's door.
