Chapter 5

Fay looked at herself in her mirror to see if she looks good before Kiren come to pick her up for their date. The two were going to see a movie about Elvis Presley called Elvis. Fay just loves hearing good old-fashioned Elvis Presley music. She would sometimes listen to some of the songs when she has nothing to do or keep her interested in her studies. Kiren took it upon himself in getting the tickets on opening night which Fay is over-excited about it.

"I look super good in my Elvis t-shirt," said Fay, looking at herself.

Fay grabbed her green arm purse and exit her room before making her way out of the house with the door locked. She got inside Kiren's car as soon as he pulled up in front of her home. Kiren played one of Elvis Presley's songs on his Bluetooth radio as Fay smiled with a head nod. She is a sucker for the king of rock and roll. As for Kiren, he just loves listening to Little Richard from time to time and even has one of his songs as his notification alarm for his phone.

"I can not believe we are going to the movie opening night of Elvis." Fay looked at her boyfriend with happiness. "You are so sweet to me, Kiren. You spoil me too much. And I love every second of it."

Kiren smirked. "I love spoiling you, Fay." He looked at his girlfriend once the street lights turned red. "You are the apple of my eye."

"Awww, Kiren, you are such a poet," said Fay, with a lovely dovey look on her face.

Kiren pulled up at the movie theater parking lot and parked in the front row. The two exit the car and hold hands upon entering the building. They went to the assigned auditorium and sat in the perfect seat and had their large bucket of popcorn and two large sodas delivered to them. Fay put a few amounts of popcorn while the commercials started playing. Then after showing the last movie trailer the movie finally got started. Fay and Kiren watched the wonderful movie that had the female teen Wishbone in tears once the ending of the Elvis movie started rolling in. Kiren of course comforted his crying girlfriend as the ending touched their hearts.

"Elvis did not deserve that suffering." Fay got out of her boyfriend's chest while wiping the tears off her face.

"Yes, I know." Kiren rubbed the back of Fay's head. "May his soul rest in peace. Wanna watch it again?."

Fay nodded at the idea since their tickets did show that they have the option to rewatch it again. They rewatched the movie for the second time before leaving the place to grab a good bite to eat at one of the expensive steakhouses. Kiren spoiled Fay and let her order whatever she wanted on the menu despite how much she asked if he was sure. Of course, Fay happily ordered a nice expensive steak on the menu and other things that were on the sides. They ate well that night. Sharing a giant cup of expensive ice cream with chocolate bits and whip cream.

"Mmmm, this is so good, Kiren" Fay took another bite of the ice cream. "Mmmm, being a comedian pays awfully well."

Kiren chuckled at the fact that Fay still thinks that he is a comedian and not a king of all the monsters. "Yeah, if you say so, babe."

Once the waitress came with their check, Kiren started putting his debit card inside the checkbook and handed it back to the woman. Fay drinks her expensive vanilla cream soda in delight and even asked for a large to-go cup.

"Thanks for the wonderful dinner, Kiren. I just do not know if I can compete with what you have for our date," said Fay, holding hands with Kiren.

"Oh, no need to worry about it, Fay. I just love to please you. I love you." Kiren opened his car passenger door for Fay.

Kiren went round to his driver's side and turned the engine on and pull out of the parking lot. He drove her home and spend the night despite him telling her that he is alright to head home. But Fay is not going to take any answer that was not a yes from her boyfriend, so she pulled him inside her home and takes him to her bedroom. She made him remove his shirt, pants, and shoes while letting him keep his boxers on. Fay can not resist seeing Kiren's built biceps and abs as she goes gaga.

They lay in bed together with Fay snuggling close to a still-awaken Kiren who is just looking up at the full moon through the window. He looked at his phone to see he had a text from his right-hand assistant and read the message. Informing him that he has tons of paperwork and other things, and is needed back in Monster World. Sighing he carefully gets out of bed and put his clothes back on and kissed his sleeping Fay. Then he left the house and headed to his car and drove to a secret wall that will teleport him to his dominion. Based on the work at his desk, he would be busy for quite a while to his dislike.

Fay woke up to find her lover not there and checked her phone and see he had texted her. Saying that he is needed at work and can not say when he would see her. Fay scratched her head on the last part and shrugged her shoulders before getting out of her bed. Sighing to herself she got herself ready for the day and started thinking about her summer plans. Hoping that Kiren would eventually come back to her, Fay started playing Elive's 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.

"Please come to me soon, Kiren," said Fay, sadly before laying down in her made bed.

The song made her feel all warm inside and just have to listen to it once again.
