Welcome back everyone. I don't have much to say here so insert your favorite disclaimer and enjoy.

"They should be back any time now." Our blonde Hokage said as he stood by the village gate.
Over the 3 years Naruto had changed quite a bit appearance-wise. He had grown quite a bit taller, now standing at about 5 foot 8 inches, as well as a bit beefier. He still wore a blue t-shirt with a high collar jonin vest over the top, with the same khaki shorts and black shoes. He had a long blue headband with the tails trailing down his back, and for some reason, a pair of dark sunglasses. Finishing off the outfit, of course, was his Hokage trench coat, the words "Kitsune no Kami" trailing down the back.
"Yea, I can't believe it's already been three years. It seems like just yesterday that they left." Hinata replied from his side.
She had also grown taller, but still 6 inches shorter than Naruto. She had taken to wearing a blue tank top under the standard green jonin vest. She wore blue shinobi pants that stopped just below the knees. She had also adapted a trench coat, similar to Anko's. It was grey and only reached about mid thigh.
"No kidding. I can't wait to show Sasuke that I kept up my training and that I'm still more badass!" Naruto yelled out, causing Hinata to cringe at the volume. Just as she was about to smack him in the back of the head, they saw 2 figures appear on the horizon.
"Is that them?" Hinata said as she turned to look at the figures.
"Yea, and Sasuke has gotten a lot stronger now, if his chakra reserves are any indication." Naruto said with a barely contained smile.
Before long the two figures were at the gate. "Hey Gaki! Hey Hinata!" Jiraiya said with a large smile.
"Sup Dobe?" Sasuke said as he took in the changes on Naruto. "What's with the shades?"
Speaking of, Sasuke, like everyone else, had grown taller. He now stood at 5 foot 10 inches. He wore a dark blue shirt and khaki shorts under a black cloak that had the Uchiha crest on the back. (think of his part one outfit but add an akatsuki cloak with no clouds)
"A Hokage has to look good doesn't he?" Naruto replied with a big grin, hiding the real reason he wore the glasses.
"It'll take a lot more than some sunglasses to make you look good." Sasuke said with a chuckle earning a glare from Naruto.
"I look good without em but they do make it better. Anyways, lets head to my office so I can hear your final report." Naruto said as he held out both hands. Jiraiya and Sasuke walked closer so he could put a hand on both of their shoulders, while Hinata wrapped an arm around his waist before the group disappeared in a flash of yellow light.
Tsunade, Shizune, Kakashi, and Itachi were sitting in Naruto's office waiting on the group to return. "Tsunade-sama, didn't Naruto-kun say that they should be back by now?" Shizune said as she looked up at the clock on the wall.
"Just be patient, I'm sure they'll be back any-" Tsunade began but was interrupted when the room was filled with a bright yellow light. "Speak of the devil and he will make an appearance. Good to see you again you old pervert."
"Likewise you old bat." Jiriaya replied with a grin as Tsunade walked over and gave him a hug. And then promptly smashed his head into the ground for calling her old.
"Welcome home little brother." Itachi said as he approached Sasuke and gave him a hug as well."
"I'm glad to be back Nii-san. How have you and mom been?"
"We've done well, but we'll finish later, Naruto has some things to say."
Sasuke simply nodded and turned to look at Naruto, who had moved to sit behind his desk.
Naruto dug a pack of cigarettes out of his coat pocket and proceeded to light one up before speaking. "Any new intel Jiraiya?"
"Not much. Other than what we covered in the reports, I spoke with one of my contacts and from what he tells me, I believe Akatsuki will reveal themselves and make a move with the month."
"I see. Do you know who their first target is?"
"It's only a guess, but I'd say it would be logical to start at the bottom and work their way up."
"Better guess than I've got. Tenzo!" Naruto said as the ANBU captain appeared from nowhere. "Send a message to Suna and tell them to be on high alert for an attack by Akatsuki."
"Hai Hokage-sama!" Tenzo said before dissappearing as quick as he appeared.
"Now then, I'm going to form a team that is to be ready on a moments notice to go to Suna and back them up should they need it when and if they are attacked, but I'll take care of that tomorrow morning. For now, I want a report on Sasuke's progress."
"Well you'll have to see for yourself. All I'll say is that I hope you didn't slack on your training these past 3 years." Jiraiya said with a grin, causing Sasuke to grin as well.
"Sounds like a plan to me. Are you ready to test your skills Sasuke?" Naruto said as he grinned towards the Uchiha
"Lead the way Hokage-sama." Sasuke replied before the small group took off. After a few minutes of running, the group ended up in the new and improved Konoha stadium. It was about twice the size of the old one, and with seals to protect the stadium and surrounding lands.
"Wow, this place is a lot different than I remember." Sasuke said as he took in the view.
"Yea, I figured we needed somewhere big to do this." Naruto said and Sasuke simply nodded.
It was then that Sasuke noticed all the people up in the stands to watch the fight. All of the Konoha 12, Temari, and the K-12's senseis, along with several other Jonin and ANBU were all there to watch possibly 2 of their strongest shinobi battle it out.
"Looks like you expected this fight or something huh?" Sasuke said as he turned his attention back to Naruto.
"I wouldn't have it any other way, you ready?" Naruto said as he began to stretch.
"Of course I am. How about we go all out from the start though?" Sasuke said with a smirk as he dropped several weights off, causing craters in the ground where they landed.
"If that's what you want. Kai!" Naruto replied as several seals covering his visible body glowed for a moment before receding. He then grabbed his sunglasses and pitched them off to the side.
"What the hell…" Sasuke said as he looked at Naruto's eyes. They now consisted of 3 concentric purple rings, with 3 tomoe slowly spinning around the innermost ring. "Is that the Rinnegan?"
"I've taken to calling it the Sejigan, (sage eye) but essentially yes. It is a combination of the Sharingan and the Rinnegan."
"No way man that is cool as hell!" Sasuke said as he stared at the eyes. "But I too have a surprise." He added as his three tomoe begun to spin before they merged into three overlapping ellipticals.
Naruto smiled at his friends progress. "Sweet, now let's do this." Naruto said as both boys jumped away from each other. Naruto was immediately covered in a shroud of red chakra, 6 tails waving behind him.
"Hachimon: Kaimon, Kyumon, Seimon, Shomon, Tomon, Keimon: Kai!" (Gates 1-6 release) Sasuke yelled as his skin turned red and his hair stood on end while chakra violently whipped around him. The pressure from the 2 massive chakra sources made the stadium shake, even through the barrier seals.
"6 gates huh? You really are serious." Naruto said before the ground exploded in several places around the stadium. The 2 were moving so fast that only Itachi and Kakashi could even remotely keep up, and it was sketchy at best.
"Not bad for a dobe!" Sasuke said as he and Naruto once again clashed in their taijutsu bout.
"I'm just getting started!" Naruto yelled as he landed a kick and launched Sasuke across the stadium and into the wall before he landed and began doing hand seals. "Katon: Daikaryuendan no jutsu!"
A stream of flames nearly as wide as the stadium itself erupted from Naruto's mouth and covered the wall where Sasuke was last seen. Once the flames finally died down, Naruto grinned. "I knew you wouldn't go down so easy."
The crowd, bar Itachi and Kakashi, didn't know what he meant because the smoke was still obscuring their view. After a moment, the smoke cleared, revealing Sasuke standing inside of a large pale purple spectral demon soldier grinning like mad.
"Of course not I still have plenty of tricks up my sleeve! Enton: Susanoo Kagutsuchi!" Sasuke yelled as he swung his arm out, casting several amaterasu-flame magatama towards Naruto, who simply grinned.
Just as the magatama were about to hit him, Naruto held his arm out. Everyone thought he was crazy until he grinned bigger and said "Shinra Tensei!"
The magatama were instantly stopped in midair before being repelled away by some unseen force.
Sasuke didn't let it deter him though, and with speed surprising for something so large, he and his Susanoo blurred across the field and swung his sword down towards Naruto.
Once more, Naruto grinned and held an arm out, only this time it was covered in a blackish-red arm that reached out to block the sword with its claws as the arm spread to the rest of his body before becoming a full form like Sasuke's, only the head was more fox-like, rather than Sasuke's horned-demon.
"Is this what it was like at the Valley of the End when Hashirama and Madara fought?" Kakashi said to no one in particular.
"No, they are just sparring. If they were trying to kill each other the village would be in ruin, barrier or not." Itachi replied, earning nods from the nearby sannin.
"Sasuke, behold the power of a nin-genjutsu hybrid!" Naruto said as his left eye began to bleed. Sasuke was on edge wondering what was happening, but nothing ever came. That is until Naruto, Susanoo and all, disappeared in a flash of blood red, reappearing right in front of Sasuke with his sword thrust through the stomach of Sasuke's Susanoo.
"How did you do that without sealing me?" Sasuke said as his Susanoo collapsed.
Naruto let his go as well. "My newest jutsu, I use Tsukiyomi to create an image and then Yin release to actually create it. Doing so allows me to form Hiraishin seals wherever I look." He explained as Sasuke looked amazed.
"Being the Hokage sure didn't cut down on your training time did it?"
"Nah, shadow clones are great for that kind of thing." Naruto said with a smile. "Got any more tricks?"
"A couple. Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Sasuke yelled as he did some hand seals and smacked his palm to the ground while Naruto did the same.
The arena was covered in a large cloud of smoke for a moment before is dissipated, revealing Sasuke standing atop a large hawk, while Naruto stood atop Gamakichi with a large 3 headed dog on one side and a rhino on the other.
"WHAT THE FUCK!? DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION FOR EVERYTHING?!" Sasuke yelled, waving his arms frantically in anime fashion.
"I'm not the Hokage for nothing! Kichi, give me oil!" Naruto shouted as Gamakichi spat out a large stream of oil. "Moukaton: Gamayuendan!" he finished as he ignited the stream of oil with his amaterasu.
"Takamasuta, do your thing!" Sasuke yelled as aforementioned hawk flapped its wings, creating a gale of wind that blocked the large fireball. "Now get me in close!"
The large hawk squawked it's acknowledgement before dive-bombing towards Naruto. Just when it was getting close, the large dog lashed out and bit the hawk, sending it back to the summon realm while Sasuke flew towards Naruto, a perfect sphere of lightning cackling in his palm.
Naruto grinned once more at the newest attack by Sasuke before the same formed in his hand and he leapt off of Kichi's head to meet Sasuke in the middle.
The two teens collided in midair and both shouted "Raiton: Rasengan!"
There was a large explosion that blinded most of the crowd, and when the light died down, there was a deep crater in the ground where the two boys met, but no boys. It was then that they all noticed several random explosion around the field once again, arcs of lightning, fireballs, and blades of wind utterly destroying the landscape.
After a moment, the explosions stopped and the two boys stood across the field staring at each other before Naruto, once again, grinned. "Out of tricks?"
"Pretty much." Sasuke replied with a light pant.
"I've still got a few. Here's one of em." Naruto said as the air around the stadium became thicker, to the point where the younger people of the crowd had trouble breathing.
Naruto held out his hand and several small black and white balls began to form into one larger jet black ball.
"Bijuudama!" Naruto yelled as he fired the ball towards Sasuke.
Sasuke almost panicked for a moment but remembered one trick he had learned that may be able to stop this. He quickly slammed his palms to the ground. "Kuchiyose: Sanju Rashomon!" he shouted as 3 large demon gates popped up from the ground in between him and the terrifying attack.
The ball slammed into the gates and the whole stadium was blinded by the explosion. When the bright light died down, the first 2 gates were completely gone, and the 3rd was mangled up pretty bad, but Sasuke was alive.
"Okay, you win." Sasuke said as he collapsed to a knee.
Naruto then flashed over to him and helped him stand. "Good job Sasuke." Naruto said with a smile. "Now let's get you home so you can rest."
Itachi then jumped down and grabbed Sasuke before saying his goodbyes to Naruto as the pair disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
"Good job Naruto-kun!" Hinata said as she appeared beside Naruto in a swirl of water and hugged him.
"Thanks Hina-hime." Naruto replied as he kissed her cheek. He then looked up and said "Jiraiya, meet me in my office in an hour. Everyone else, we will have a welcome home party for Sasuke at the Hokage tower's conference room tomorrow night so you can welcome him back." Jiraiya nodded at his instruction before he and Tsunade dissappeared in twin swirls of leaves, gone to who-knows-where. (cough bar cough)
The K-12, however, barely registered him saying anything. They were all awestruck at the power they just witnessed from their Hokage and his best friend. They hadn't saw Naruto fight anyone in quite some time, and Sasuke was gone for 3 years, so they were amazed at how strong the two had got.
Naruto saw the group and noticed they were all zoned out, which he kind of figured they would be. He grinned a bit before he and Hinata disappeared in a flash of yellow.
They reappeared back in Naruto's office where he once again went to his desk and lit up a cigarette. "Hina-hime, you can go on home if you want, and I'll be there shortly, I'm going to review the rosters to assemble that team I mentioned earlier."
"Hai Naruto-kun." Hinata said before walking over and giving him a long, passionate kiss. "I'll signal for you when supper is ready."
She turned to leave and began doing the hand seals required to open the door to their home when there was a frantic knock on the office door, so she decided to wait and see what was happening.
"Enter." Naruto said before the door flew open revealing a worn out chunin who appeared to have ran a long distance.
"Hokage-sama, we just received a message from Suna! Akatsuki attacked their village and kidnapped Gaara!"
Naruto's anger briefly flared and he crushed the corner off his large wooden desk that he didn't even know he was holding on to.
"Shit! Akuma!" Naruto yelled out to noone in particular.
Within a minute, Zabuza was standing in front of Naruto with his ANBU attire and demon mask on awaiting his orders.
"Akatsuki has attacked Suna and kidnapped the Kazekage. I want you to find Shikamaru, Temari, Ino, and Kakashi and meet me at the west gate in 30 minutes." Naruto said with absolute authority before Zabuza bowed and faded into mist.
"Hinata-chan, find Itachi and tell him that he is in charge while im gone. I'll be home soon Hime, I love you."
"Hai. Be careful Naruto-kun, I love you too." Hinata said before Naruto disappeared in a flash of yellow.

30 minutes later.
The group Naruto specified was now standing at the gate ready to leave out, all wondering what the mission was. Temari specifically wondered why she was involved since she wasn't a Konoha shinobi.
"Okay here's the deal. Akatsuki moved sooner than expected. We received a distress signal from Suna." at this point, Temari realized why she was notified and immediately began to worry. "Apparently Akatsuki attacked the village and kidnapped Gaara. Our mission is to find him and return him home unharmed. Now this group is too large for me to transport across that long a distance with Hiraishin, so we are on foot. If anything happens to me, Kakashi will be in charge. Move out!" Naruto yelled out and the group shot off into the trees and began their journey to Suna.
