A/N: Well, here's chapter 5 of Maka Albarn and the Miss DWMA Pageant; in which Soul discovers the sign-up sheet for the pageant and discovers that Maka's on the list. I hope you enjoy it. And I'm so sorry for abandoning this story.
Chapter 5: My Meister the BEAUTY QUEEN?!
Soul's POV
Wow. I didn't know that this pageant was making my meister girlfriend crazy, but after that incident in the hallway...just, wow. Well, I can't do anything but walk around the school. After all, Maka had said to NOT follow her. Unless I want to feel the wrath of a book to the head, I should just leave her alone.
This is getting more uncool by the second. I mean, it's not like Maka is going to enter this stupid thing. It would make her look like such a hypocrite if she ever did that. And besides, I was just pointing out facts here: The smartest girl at the academy who has little sex appeal couldn't stand a chance against girls such as Tsubaki and the Thompson sisters.
As I passed by the bulletin board, I backed up and saw the big girly poster for the DWMA pageant; along with the sign up sheet. I scanned down the names...and who's name do I see on the sheet?
MAKA ALBARN!
I'm not kidding! There, in her own signature was her name smack dab on the sheet; was Maka's name on it. Words could not describe how shocked I was at this discovery. My girlfriend has done the most hypocritical thing she's ever done: signed up for the pageant!
Well, I had to talk to her about this...whenever she has time to blow off some steam.
Sorry if this chap was short. I'll make it up to you in the next chapter, where we'll get to see Maka and Soul's date and Soul confronting his meister about entering the pageant.
