When we arrived at the beach house, Percy told me to pick any room with a white door that I wanted. I picked the one across the hall from a blue door, and upon opening the door I gasped. Though the room was blank white, it was beautiful. A California King sized bed, a TV, my own personal bathroom, and a mini fridge. Percy entered the room after me with my suitcase.

"I know it isn't that great right now, but I promise that we can personalize it more. Like paint it your favorite color, get all the furniture and bedsheets in your favorite color, and buy some decorations and shit and yeah. What is your favorite color by the way?" Percy rambled, blushing and shuffling his feet.

"Silver and black… Oh my gods, you're kidding me, right?" I asked, stunned. The room was already beautiful as it was, he was willing to decorate it for me and everything.

"Well, no. It's tradition. My dad used to do all of that for everybody in this house. That's why some of the rooms have doors painted in colors. We would paint the doors our favorite color and decorate the interior. It's tradition to do for everyone who moves into the house, and you've moved in, so…" Percy explained, rubbing his neck.

"Percy, I don't know what to-how to-just, thank you. Thank you so much," I said, grinning and throwing myself at him in a hug. He hugged me back, but let go after a moment.

"You settle down while I go order a pizza for dinner. Stuffed Crust okay?"

"Hell yeah it's okay, it's my favorite!" I exclaimed.

"Same! Well, you probably figured that out because I want to order it, but yeah. I'm gonna go get it now. You know what, Thalia? I think this whole ordeal is going to be great!" Percy said before walking out of the room, a big crooked grin firmly planted on his face. I laughed and jumped into the bed. I couldn't help but agree, this is going to be great.

~Next Day at Lunch-

I walked into the cafeteria and started towards my regular table. As I walked over, I noticed that all of my friends were there, but so was Jason. Strange. I couldn't help but smirk when I noticed he had two bruises on his jaw and one black eye. Serves him right.

"Hey," I greeted as I sat down next to Percy. My friends all shared a look while Percy just took my hand in his and smiled reassuringly at me. Then Jason decided to speak up.

"Thals-"

"Don't call me that," I cut him off, glaring at him.

"I'm sorry. Just…please come home," he pleaded with me.

"No, because that hell hole isn't a home to me. I'm going to finally be happy where I'm living now," I explained, clenching Percy's hand and trying to remain calm.

"Thalia, you have to come home! We're a family, and we need you at home, with us!" he yelled, and suddenly all conversation ceased in the cafeteria.

I stood up and placed my hands on the table. "You are NOT my brother, and they are NOT my family! We may share blood but we are not family! Realize that! I don't want anything to do with you, Zeus, or Hera! We are not family, haven't been for a while and probably never will be again! I'm ashamed to even know you!" I yelled back. Everybody stared at me in shock, and Jason had tears pooling in his eyes. I stormed out of the cafeteria before anybody could say anything else to me, leaving all of my former friends and family behind. I had just made it to the parking lot when I felt someone grab me by the shoulder and turn me around.

"Percy, what are you doing?" I sighed, but all he did was pull me into a hug.

"I called him out for being a dick to you and told him this was his fault. I also told everybody in the cafeteria they're just as guilty as he is, because they never speak up. I don't think I've ever seen a group of teenagers so shocked before," Percy murmured, chuckling a little. I smiled weakly up at him, and he just kissed the top of my head and lead me towards bessie. "Come on, I've got a surprise for you."

~Time Skip, 45 minutes~

"Are we there yet? And can I take this blindfold off?" I asked.

"Nope," Percy said, and I could hear the smile in Percy's voice.

"Now?"

"Nope." I cold still hear that smirk.

"Now?"

"Nope!"

"God dammit Percy, knock that fucking smirk off your face right now or I swear to the gods I'll-" I growled, but was cut off by Percy's laughter.

"Easy, Tiger!" he laughed.

"If it wasn't for this blindfold I would hit you right now," I grumbled, but a small smile was teasing at my lips.

"Sure you would," Percy teased.

"Why do you even have a blindfold in your car anyways? Like why would you need one? Do you kidnap kids, take them fun places, and then bring them home? Are you an axe murderer who likes to convince his victims they're about to make out with a celebrity, so you blindfold them? Are you that guy?"

"Gosh darn it, you've caught me Thalia Grace!" Percy said, laughing and pulling over. "We're here."

"Fantastic. Now I just have to fall on my face as I try to get out of this truck, because you decided it would be a good idea to blindfold mem" I grumbled.

"Stop being so overdramatic, I'll help you out. And I had to, it's a surprise. Also, put these in." He handed me my phone and noise reduction earbuds, Green Day already playing. Ah, he knows me. After about fifteen minutes of Percy dragging me around and me bumping into people because Percy is an idiot (and because I couldn't see nor hear), Percy pulled out the earbuds and took off the blindfold. I stared wide eyed around us, grinning like a little kid. Percy had the same smile on his face.

"Surprise."

And the roller-coaster started.

~Time Skip, 10 minutes~

"This is a keeper!" Percy exclaimed with a laugh.

I laughed with him. The picture was us on the roller-coaster, our hair insane, looking at each other and laughing because of something this Gangster Grandpa behind us had said.

"What next?" Percy asked. I looked around the park, and my eyes landed on a ride/game that looked really cool.

"That one. The Gyro Loop." Percy grinned and we walked over to the ride. Luckily, nobody was in line for it.

"Five bucks per rider, we can record it for you if you want," the guy dully said. Percy nodded and gave the guy ten bucks and his iPhone to record. The guy led us to the seat.

"You control it. Green is forwards, yellow is backwards, red is stop." We nodded and the guy strapped us in, then turned the thing on. Percy and I pushed the buttons and we were flipping, stopping upside down, stopping facing the ground, everything. After about three minutes, we were stuck upside down, and slowly descending to the start point and were turned right side up. Percy and I were laughing hysterically. Percy's hair was messier than usual, and I'm pretty sure mine was too. I brushed my fingers through my hair quickly.

"Grab a toy. Here's your phone. Thanks for riding," the guy said with a small smile. Percy and I said our thanks, then turned our attention to the toys. I picked up a doll I had a suspicion of.

"Hey Percy? Is this what I think it is?" I asked, trying to hold back a laugh. I showed it to Percy and he immediately groaned.

"Yeah, it is," he muttered, glaring darkly at the wretched thing.

"Oh, I have my toy!" I said and held the toy close. It was a doll with a messy black undercut, sea-green eyes, a blue shirt, black jeans, and red converse. It was undeniably a Percy doll.

"Come on, let's play some games!" Percy exclaimed, probably trying to distract me from the doll. He led me over to the games, which I know I suck at. Percy went to the game where you knock down the bottles and won with his first throw. He got a huge teddybear and grinned at me.

"For you," he said with a shy smile.

I blushed and gave him a hug. I felt the undeniable butterflies in my stomach, but I ignored them.

"Let's go on another ride!" I said with a grin.

He nodded, and we walked to a ride called the Dragon. It would go really high and then swing to the other side. Percy and I kept our arms up and either stood up for lifted our feet off the floor. It was really fun. We played a few more games, ate a pizza, and then went back home at midnight.

"Thank you Percy. Today was really fun and it really cheered me up," I said, smiling up at him.

"Any time, Thalia," he murmured, planting a kiss on my head and sending me off to bed. I fell asleep with a content smile on my face.

-Dream-

"Best friends for life!" Annabeth said with a huge grin.

"Family," Luke promised with a smile.

"We'll always be there for each other," Jason said earnestly.

"You're a loser! Why did we even waste our time being friends with you!" Annabeth yelled at me.

"Nobody cares about you!" Jason yelled.

"You are bringing us down Thals!" Luke yelled.

-Dream End-

I woke up screaming and crying. Percy ran in with his hair extremely messy, his eyes wild, wearing only neon pink boxer briefs and carrying a wooden baseball bat. It was a ridiculous sight that cheered me up a bit.

"Are you okay? Whadda they do? Where are they?" Percy asked frantically, looking all around the room.

"Bad dream," I explained with a shake of my head. Percy nodded in understanding, then sat down next to me and wiped my tears away.

"Go back to sleep. I'll stay with you," he said, planting a kiss on my forehead. I nodded and blushed, then slid under the covers. Percy ran out of the room and put on some sweats, then came in bed next to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist as a few more of my tears fell, but I ended up falling asleep in a matter of minutes with Percy stroking my hair. This time, I didn't wake up.
