A/N: I have some bad news guys. I am really sorry I am saying this, but I am quitting this story. I really didn't want to, I really liked the idea, but I just can't. This is not because of laziness or writers block, it is because of the source material. I tried to read Highschool DxD, I really did. I endured 6 painful volumes but I just can't force myself to read something I utterly despise. The premise was great, Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils, I loved it. And it was with that in mind that made me to go on. But I just can't read that anymore. Allow me to explain my feelings:

I really, REALLY, can't stand Issei. The one glaring factor is how stupid he is. I can handle that normally, but you can clearly see how forced it is by the author in order to fit in with the typical shounen image. It is so forced that it has to be clarified by him saying things like "I don't understand any of this complicated stuff" COUNTLESS times throughout the whole thing. I swear when explaining the most basic of concepts to him he has the comprehension level going on mental retardation, in all seriousness. I can say with confidence that Luffy from One Piece and Natsu from Fairy Tail (I don't really read/watch that anymore, but I did for a time) are smarter then him, which is a shame because he is actually in school.

Another is his supposed pervertedness. This guy is no pervert. In fact he is basically just like the average high school boy. A pervert with take advantage of the situation before him. The difference between a normal boy and a pervert is that a pervert has little to no shame about his actions, which is why they are looked down upon. Issei has too high of a moral standard to be a pervert the Light Novel tries to paint him as. He keeps saying he doesn't want Asia to become impure, I can see that though, if he thinks of her as a sister so that I can let that slide. But when girls are LITERALLY offering themselves to him, he makes some kind of excuse to back out. A pervert would happily except and not care about anything else. He uses Rias as an excuse, saying she wouldn't like that. So what? Since they are not a couple, what right does she have that she can dictate who he see's and who he doesn't? Yeah he's her servant, but I'm if he wanted to he could do whatever he wanted.

Now one of my most hated things about this? THE GODDAMN NOSEBLEEDS! I mean shit! How many times has these been used as an excuse to avoid a mature station? Or just to show he's a pervert? If it isn't overused in anime in general, it is sure as hell over used in this Novel! The amount of times this guy squirts of a gallon of blood from his nose just so the author can keep this teen aimed is so frustrating and annoying! I swear every time this happened I got angry and had to put my phone down for a bit to calm myself. I could understand if this happened in Anime/Manga. It is suppose to provide humor for visual effect, but when I it takes place in a book that just shows someone is trying too hard.

So yeah, I hate Highschool DxD. It would have probably been better if it was in 3rd person, at least I wouln't be in Issei's head, but that didn't happen. The only thing I really liked from this was Azazel. As much as I want to continue this story because I wanted to add a twist on your typical DxD crossover, I just can't force myself to read that hair pulling brain cell destroying thing.

I am really sorry.
