Author's Note: Finally! I've been trying and writing and trying and here it is... PLEASE Review! Go Dramione! I know I've said this before but THIS is my Favourite Chapter yet. Keep Reading!

As Draco and Scorpius Malfoy walked aimlessly along Diagon Alley, with no particular destination in mind, on a rare day of Father-Son bonding speculating about what the future would bring,Scorpius crashed into someone while staring at the Swooper in Quaity Quidditch Supplies.

Bam! Both the boys fell onto the ground.

Scorpius, always the impulsive one, got up rubbing his behind and scowled, "For Salazar's sake, look where you're walking!"

Draco, a true Slytherin, happened to notice who the kid was and smirked to himself. Seeing the kid's father coming their way, he scolded his son,"Scorp! You were the one who knocked him yourself like a good boy and apologise now." with a angry tone for a good effect.

Scorpius was not a fool and realized his Father's direction immediately. Well, being his Father's son with a 'healthy' appreciation for manipulation, he played along and 'obediently' said sorry to the boy he knocked down (shocking Draco in the process, who was later proud of his son for taking due advantage of the situation).

"Sorry, I guess I got slightly carried away." Extending his hand like he'd seen his Father and Grandpere do hundreds of times, he continued with a tentative smile, "I'm Scorpius Malfoy and i'm gonna go to Hogwarts this year. Are you already at Hogwarts?"

"Oi Harry! I think your son just knocked into someone and felldown. And the git Malfoy's here. Wonder where he got to all these years." hollered George over the crowd walking towards Harry as he bought Owl treats.

"Spare him,George. You're acting like Ron. I think he just came back into the country.", Harry rolled his eyes as the both of them walked back towards Albus who was 'about' to be helped up by the kid he ran into.

"Not that I'm complaining but don't you think reporters should be paying him a little more attention consi-", Goerge stopped mid-rant as he heard the kid apologise to Albus."Blimey! I didn't know kids apologised anymore...", he continued.

"The kid's father is resolving the petty fight. Looks like a helpful bloke.", Harry shouted over the rush at George as they ran over to Albus.

Little did they know who the helpful bloke was!

Albus extended his own hand to grasp Scorpius's hand as Harry and George came up huffing and panting.

"Are you okay?"

"Did you get hurt?"

"I'm fine, dad, Uncle George." Albus soothed his father and Uncle before turning back to Scorpius and shaking the grasped hand before saying, "I'm Albus Severus Potter and I'm starting at Hogwarts this year too. I'm sure the both of us will be friends. Um..Friends?"

"Yeah. Sure. Why not?", Scorpius smirked his Malfoy smirk and asked Albus, putting an arm around him, " Your mom is Ginny Potter, right? She plays for the Holyhead Harpies. That's cool. My mom can barely get on a broom without shivering."

And that started a whole new conversation about Quidditch that marked the boys as friends for life.

George muttered looking at them, "Looks like you'll be seeing Malfoy a lot mate." as Draco thought to himself, " You have no idea how much we'll be seeing each other..."

Seeing the Malfoy smirk on the kid, Harry and George slowly lifted their eyes slowly, as though they wished not to see what they were about to see, only to see a similar but more pronounced Malfoy smirk on Draco, who smirked wider and said, "Potter. Weasley. Looks like your son grasped the hand you didn't. Nice to see-"

Harry gritted his teeth and stopped Malfoy midsentence to say, "I intend to be civil to you for the sake of my son. I suggest you do the same." before looking down to see Scorpius and Albus completely engrossed in discussing the Swooper as they fought over whose dad was better.

Surprised, George asked Draco, "You have a Swooper? Harry got one too."

"Malfoy Industries owns stocks in the broom company just as we have stocks in WWW, Weasley. They can't not make me a Swooper." Malfoy was still smirking as the kids looked up and asked to go to the Ice-cream parlour.

Harry looked at George and raised his brows.

"Please, dad. You finished all of Mom's chores." from Albus and " Dad, you did everything on Mom's list of errands" from Scorpius with Draco and Harry clapping hands over their son's mouths and pointedly looking everywhere but at each other and George chuckling sealed the deal.

Mouthing "Later" at Harry, ruffling Albus's hair and muttering his farewells, George disappeared into the crowd.

Sitting at the ice-cream parlour half-listening to the kids' conversation, Harry was thinking about Hermione and the Swooper when he had an idea.

Draco and Harry hadn't spoken a word to each other since the 'embarrassing incident' and so Harry wondered how to start the conversation.

" What are you doing now-a-days, Malfoy?"

"I'm the Deputy head of Malfoy Industries. Heard you were Head Auror, Potter? Managing not to kill yourself?"

"Yeah. So how's your Swooper? " Harry glared and sternly lectured himself to be calm and composed.

"Brilliant. My father gifted it to me.", Malfoy looked his nose up at Harry.

"Can't buy it yourself, Malfoy?"

"Someone else needs to order it for you,Potter. You can't order a Swooper for yourself."

"Why not?" Harry was puzzled.

"Because its a professional broom, Potter. Someone else has to explain how you ride your broom. You very well can't see yourself flying. Maybe you as The-Chosen-One can! And anyway, I'm surprised you got one. You aren't on the Executive Board, Potter. Nor do you have friends on the Board." said Malfoy ignoring the look Scorpius shot at him before turning back to his own kid conversation.

"Oh. I know I'm not on the board. It was a Birthday Gift. Can you tell me who's on the Board?" Harry finally got the opening to broach the topic.

"I don't think I can tell you that, Potter. It's confidential. Why do you want to know anyway? Don't know who sent it to you?", Malfoy taunted.

Seeing things going down the hill, Scorpius and Albus turned towards their dads.

With a wink, a handshake, an icecream and a promise to see each other again later, the boys got off their chairs and waited for their Fathers to rise (who continued their staring game).

"Dad, can I go over to Albus's place tomorrow. He says he has a brother and cousins who will play with me and Siria. Please?", Scorpius asked Draco as Albus asked Harry,"Can Scorp and his siter come over tomorrow, Daddy, please?"

"Sister?" Harry asked.

Scorpius replied,"My twin sister, Uncle Harry. I can call you that, can't I?"

Harry was surprised but he had a good feeling about the kid so he said yes.

Albus, hearing this, asked, "Uncle Draco, can they come over tomorrow? Please?",ignoring the incredulous looks he got.

Both fathers, visibly overwhelmed, nodded their assent.

For going home, "Dad, Mum.."from Albus and " Dad, Mom's waiting" from Scorpius got the men into normal mode.

This time, however, both the dads looked at each other and smiled warily.

Harry muttered, " I don't want to be maimed by my wife for coming home late." as Draco muttered, "I don't have a death wish either."

Harry wondered who the amazing woman who kept Draco Malfoy on a leash was.

Little did he know it was his best friend.

Draco and Harry had enjoyed each other's company but neither would admit it.

As they apparated with their son's hand in theirs, they nodded at each other. I might not have been a promise to see each other again or be friends but it was a beginning.

A beginning of a tentative friendship.
