They had no inkling of how much fun they would have!
Author's Note: I was really looking forward to this chapter and I know you were too...
Like I say every time, Happy Reading! And Go Dramione!
I've decided to write as much as I can but excuse me if the chapters are posted slightly far apart. You know, with school and all...
Keep reviewing! Tell me any ideas you might have. Appreciate it! (Or criticize it! (Constructively please...))
Everyone was now eagerly (or not so eagerly in the case of Harry) in the hall of Grimmauld Place for the arrival of 'guests' –some people Albus had invited and so Harry only thought it safe to invite a few more people not prone to panic attacks like the two most understanding Weasley brothers with kids (Charlie was understanding too but wasn't married), Percy, Penelope and their 9-yr old daughter Kiara (who was playing with her ribbons, seemingly not interested in the tension in the room), George, Angelina and their twins Fred and Koran (who were in 2nd yr and now planning to trick the guests without anyone noticing) and Teddy Lupin (who was in 3rd yr and changing his hair colour just for the sake of it). And of course his own kids were there, James (who was in 2nd yr and was twirling his wand and attempting to push his hair out of his eyes), Albus (who was jumping up and down in his seat waiting for his new friend and his friend's sister (*giggle giggle*) and Lily (who was Albus's unidentical twin and was trying to settle herself on the sofa while Albus was trying to jump on it.)
Harry and Albus had refused to tell everyone who the 'guests' were. George, who was sitting beside Harry on the sofa, had guessed anyway and was sending Harry incredulous looks.
Narrowing his eyes at George, Harry asked him, "Don't be a hypocrite. Why didn't you tell us?" clearly referring to Draco Malfoy saying Malfoys had shares in WWW.
George mock sighed and answered, "No one would have approved but they are the best. Snappy but hey, they have a sense of humour."
"Uh huh" Harry looked around just to make sure no one heard their conversation but he missed the look George and Ginny sent each other, a look that said they knew something everyone didn't.
Flashback:
"Gin! GIN!"
Thinking something was seriously wrong, Ginny Potter ran hurriedly down the stairs only to see her brother George sitting comfortably on the couch treating himself to Chocolate Frogs that he found in the kitchen while rummaging for food.
"For Godric's sake, why on Earth were you screaming? I thought it was an emergency or something..." Ginny said scowling as she plonked herself on the sofa and grabbed a couple of Frogs herself and continued, " Don't you know you should ask before butting into anybody's kitchen and EAT WITH YOUR MOUTH CLOSED!"
Looking sheepish, George gave a brotherly (wicked) smile and proceeded to tell Ginny, "I needed to tell somebody. The Malfoys have shares in WWW. And Draco-... ". George ignored Ginny's raised eyebrow and continued," He mentioned it in front of Harry in Diagon Alley today. And Scorp "(Another raised eyebrow) "I mean, umm... Draco's son became friends with Al...And I think you'll be seeing the git a lot more ...And I think I shouldn't tell you... Draco'll probably have a fit ...And his wife would shout at him ...For God's sake, his wife is Hermione." Slapping a hand over his mouth, he said, " Merlin! I shouldn't have told you that."
Ginny was now suspicious but seeing George's rambling, Ginny calmly said, "I know. I found out a few days ago. How long have you known anyway? And you call his-their son Scorp? And you call him Draco?"
George opened his mouth to say something but then shut his mouth and muttered to himself before saying," Er... Hermione convinced me to let them have shares around 7 years ago. From when our company started thriving. And Lucius is um...I don't know if you'll believe it but he's nice. Maybe. And I kind of snooped around and confronted her and she was fairly unsurprised about it. Their kids even call me Uncle George!"
"And you never told us?"
"I—"
"Don't explain George but I can relate to that feeling where you're not sure about Lucius Malfoy being nice. He even asked me to call him Lucius. He even opened the door for me and he's scared of his wife and Hermione!"
"Who wouldn't be scared? I mean... both of them are pretty powerful witches!"
Both of them laughed and talked about the Malfoys' (including Hermione now) idiosyncrasies until they ran out of breath laughing (or giggling in the case of Ginny).
After George flooed back home, both of them had the same thought.
'I hope they tell everyone soon because I'm dying from anticipation'
Little did they know Hermione was dying from the SAME anticipation.
XxX
George and Angelina were now all but jigging with impatience and that transferred to their twins, Fred and Bilius.
Harry didn't know that George's tiny family inside the Weasley family already knew the Malfoy family and well, you know the usual. (I'll tell you about the usual in the next chapter. Patience guys!)
But what Harry didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
But
"Where are they?" asked Fred.
"Yeah, where are they?" asked Bilius.
A knock sounded on the door and George went to open it.
I don't want to leave all of you on a cliff hanger but I really want to write about Hermione hearing about the play date before it actually happens. I'll try to put both into the next chapter but I can't guarantee it. Fingers crossed! REVIEW Please!
