Hi everyone, so I had decided not to write another chapter tonight, but all of your reviews, favorites, and follows changed my mind. You have all made my day, and I would just like to say thank you. A reminder, THERE ARE SPOILERS in my story. I do not own the rights to the characters; they are the property of Veronica Roth. Chapter 5- Confrontation

Tris

"Get out, or I swear I will kill you!" Tobias has gone from deep and angry monotones, to full frontal screaming. "You have no right to be here! Tris could be dead now because of you! You are nothing but a coward! No, you're worse than that, because even a coward wouldn't let his sister die for him!"

"I don't know who you are, but you don't know anything. I am here to see my sister!" Why does Caleb have to pick right now to grow a spine?

"Who am I?! I am the guy who has been talking care of your sister! I am the guy who has protected her! And if you don't leave I am the guys who will end your life!"

"I would like to see you try dauntless!"

"Caleb shut up! What's wrong with you? Do you have a death wish?" I don't understand why he is so angry. He has never acted like this before.

Before I can even try to stop it Tobias balls up his fist and punches Caleb straight in the nose, and almost immediately blood starts streaming down his face. Tobias pulls back and is ready to strike aging. This time I am faster, and I jump in front of him

"Tobias stop!" I cannot bear to see him hurt Caleb.

Tobias, who chooses to finally acknowledge me, stops in his tracks, and the room is silent. However, it doesn't last for long.

Uriah, who until this moment had been sitting in a chair next to my bed jumps to his feet. "Tris, he never should have let you go for him!"

I am only partially listening to what Uriah is saying. All I can do is stare at my brother. Something is different, besides, the blood running down his face. It's his eyes. They are so distant.

"He is a self-centered, gutless, ass, who doesn't deserve to share your DNA! If you ask me the world would be better if…"

"Enough!" I scream so loud I think my voice might have ricocheted off the walls. "This was my fault! I was the one who volunteered to go for him! It was my decision! I understand why you two are mad and I would be too, but you are mad at the wrong person. I had a choice, and I made it."

Tobias looks at me like I'm a child throwing a tantrum. "Tris, you don't know what you're saying"

I don't know what I'm saying?! I have never wanted to punch Tobias more in my life than I do at this moment.

"You let your brother manipulate you." I know boys are obtuse, but how does Tobias not see that he is heading into dangerous territory. Who the hell does he think he is?

"Shut up Four! You have no idea what you're talking about! You are an only child you've never had a sibling to worry or care about! You will never get it." Four looks as if I just slapped, which I guess I have.

"And Uriah, are you telling me that you wouldn't do anything in your power to help your brother? What if Caleb was Zeke? Would you let him die?" Uriah just stands there. I know I've never yelled at him before, but they just don't understand. This time it is Tobias who breaks the silence.

"There's one difference Tris. Zeke is not a traitor!" he spits the words at Caleb like they are toxic. I know it is the truth, but hearing him say it triggers something in me.

"Get Out!" the tree boys look back and forth trying to figure out who my anger is directed at. "I want everyone but my brother to leave my room."

"NOW" I say, after no one has made a move for the door.

Uriah pats me on the shoulder and hastily makes his way out of my room, but Tobias just stands there. He doesn't look wounded or sad like most guys would, he is just angry. I expect him to start yelling, but to my surprise he just shoves past Caleb, and slams the door. Shit!

I know this chapter is a little short, but... hey, I did give you two today :)
