Chapter 2
In the grand library of the Baudelaire's, Violet and Klaus sat right in the centre of it so that they could see all of their lovely books. They were reading, The Key To A Wonderful Marriage, by Alfred Hatter a very well known author,
"Klaus?" Violet asked, "Can you go to the bridesmaid and pageboy part of the book please?" As she scrolled her finger through the contents and pointed out the section she wanted,
"OK then, but can I read the page-boy section first?" Klaus replied.
"Klaus, they're both on the same page!" Violet answered.
"Oh" Klaus said as he scanned through the book for the bridesmaid and pageboy section, "Ah, here it is. Right at the back of the book!"
Violet leaned in close so that she could read the bridesmaid page
and so that Klaus could also read the pageboy paragraph.
"Hey Vi!" Klaus yelled in Violet's ear, "Look, it says here that I have to hold the bride's train!"
"Hey me too!" Violet explained.
"What? So that means I'm just a boy version of-of you!" Klaus screeched,
"Pretty much, yeah." Violet smirked.
"Urgh." Klaus groaned as he turned his head back to the book and carried on to read.
Time past on and Violet and Klaus just carried on reading marriage related books like, How to be a perfect bridesmaid/pageboy or The Rules of Weddings.
When the raggedy grandfather clock struck midnight, Miss Baudelaire and (Future Mr Baudelaire) Mr Edwards entered the sparkling clean library, they saw their tired out children laying down on the shining white floor they sighed and tiptoed toward them to take them to their comfy beds, the wedding books were piled on top of them like they were a pile of dirty washing.
Mr Edwards picked them up with his gentle hands and carried them off to their beds. Violet and Klaus wrapped their arms around their father and when in their beds, they curled up into a ball and they clung onto their hot water bottles. Their mother and father held hands and Beatrice Baudelaire lent her head onto her partner's shoulder as they walked off into the hallway. Violet and Klaus lay on their backs snoring away as if they had just had a tiring day at work and had just collapsed on their bed and drifted off into a deep sleep.
