Chapter 6


Walking down the aisle arm in arm, Miss Baudelaire and Mr Baudelaire, Beatrice's father, grinned at each other with delight. Violet and Klaus trailing behind carrying their mothers train. Mr Edwards, the groom, and Michael, the best man, were standing there up at the front whispering about 'the big day'. Finally standing hand in hand at the front of all the guests, Mr Edwards and Miss Baudelaire.

"I will." Answered Miss Baudelaire,

"And do you, Mr Bertrand Alfred Edwards take Miss Beatrice Felicity Baudelaire to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Asked the priest,

"I will." Mr Edwards answered with glee.

Then the priest announced, "I now, in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit announce you husband and wife. Welcome, Mr and Mrs Baudelaire. You may now kiss the bride!"

Both sides of the families were crying with joy, their son or daughter had just become married.

"Ten hours later!" Klaus joked, their married mother and father had finished kissing and Beatrice picked up Violet whilst Bertrand picked up Klaus they all made their way to the reception.
