I went out the door with my bag but not before slipping a little thank you note to Madame Pomfrey saying that I left since she was out somewhere. I walked to the common room and none of my friends were there so I set my bag up in my room and decided to fix up a little. Unfortunately, Hermione wasn't in the room either. The clothes Madame Pomfrey lay for me were fine but I looked a little sloppy. So, I magically straightened my hair. I decided to put on a fedora and tucked my baggy shirt into my jeans, which I secured with a belt. I switched from flip-flops to brown boots then saw my reflection. I looked like I never was in the Hospital Wing.

They should be gathered in the Great Hall soon, so I decided to walk there. On my way out, some of my other friends greeted me and asked how I was. I said I was fine and went back to looking for Hermione, Ron, and Harry. As I said before, I was avoiding Fred, and I didn't want to see George, simply because they looked alike. I found them sitting at our usual place and Hermione noticed me and I nodded my head to the spot on the long table beside me. She got up with her plate and sat beside me on the table.

"Hey, Bella! Nice outfit. I'm guessing you feel a lot better?" she saidas she was about to take a bite out of her lasagna.

"Yeah." I replied as I was putting some lasagna myself onto my silver plate.

"Do you seriously want to avoid Fred?" she said as I took a bite. I was so hungry, I haven't had dinner last night.

"Yes. I just want to... distance myself from him for awhile... to... to get to think without him bothering me." I replied, taking another, big bite. Soon enough the rest of them came over, including Fred and George. I tried to act calm and subtle and sort of ignorant.

"Hey! Why are you over here?" asked Ron.

"Yeah! Why are you two here?" questioned Harry also, tilting his head. I quickly finished.

"Umm..." Hermione started.

"We wanted a change of atmosphere for once." I stated drinking my water and getting up. "C'mon Hermione, let's go to Lav and Parvi." I said once she quickly finished her lunch and got up, too.

"Bella, please talk to me." asked Fred. "Please, just a minute." he said as I had my back faced to him.

I took a side glance at Hermione.

"Look, they're over there! Bye boys." she saved. And we quickly walked out. I heard George trying to call out to me, but I pretended to talk to Hermione. Once we were out of sight, we stopped.

"Hey, thanks so much." I said, hugging her.

"No problem! What are friends for?" she replied, hugging back. We walked to the common room and actually saw Lavender and Parvati; so we decided to actually stay with them. Hey, if they come in we wouldn't look like we lied! We chatted for like an hour and had a blast until the boys came in and looked at us.

We ignored them and went upstairs to our room, where they weren't allowed to be in. I decided to do my homework which Hermione gleefully agreed to do with and help me with. In thirty minutes, we were done. I fixed my bag and just chilled with Hermione. We talked about random things like school, clothes, music, magic, animals and yadda, yadda, yadda. Soon enough it was evening and we had to go down to the Great Hall.

We sat down in our seats that we sat in during lunch, while the boys remained in our usual place. Albus announced the curfew and to be ready for classes tomorrow. Hermione and I went up to our room and did our evening routine. We were so tired from talking all day so we just decided to drift away to sleep knowing that I will always have the comfort of a best friend.
