CHAPTER 7. Preparations
Leo POV
I couldn't believe it, the gods weren't allowing calypso to leave her island. I was fuming so much I had nearly set fire to Olympus. I was now on the Argo II, flying towards her. I wouldn't let anyone keep us apart.
Percy POV
After I had answered all their questions, sorry, after they had forced me to answer their questions I asked '' so what are we going to do now?'' '' I say we make our own group like those hunters of Artemis, they seem awesome, but we should abolish that no dating rule?'' replied a very excited Ridden '' That's not a bad idea'' I piped up, but how are we going to get people to join?'' I said.
'' Well, we find some demigods who want to join us then we ask them to join us'' Replied Blackjack. '' Well Done Sherlock'' said a very grumpy Angel''. '' That's all good but how the hell do we grant them immortality like the original hunters of Artemis?''.
''I can answer that'' a voice boomed, we all turned around to see a black glistening portal behind us with a pretty woman beside it.
Present Time
In Olympus…
The gods where once again talking about the prophecy that their oracle Rachel had spurted. '' What does it mean'' thundered Zeus, his voice silencing everybody. ''Even I don't know, what I do know is that it involves out hero Percy Jackson '' replied a very angry Apollo.
'' Don't say that name in this place nephew '' boomed Poseidon as he poised his trident, ready to impale Apollo '' Put down your weapon barnacle beard Apollo speaks the truth'' said a very loath Athena. ''How can this be?'' inquired Artemis. '' Well it's obvious'' said a meek voice that belonged to the god of forges. ''…..Along with wisdom chaser the world they will saved or else the bitter end is neigh, the hero betrayed is Percy and wisdom chaser is Annabeth chase''.
The throne room fell quite, it was rare for Hephaestus to speak, and when he did it was always important. ''Wha….what it cannot be'' squeaked Poseidon. ''He is a traitor'' screamed Zeus. '' No his not, just because he is more powerful than you expected, it doesn't make him a traitor'' said Hestia.
'' Artemis bring him from that cursed island we sent him to, bring him to Olympus where we will force him to help us no matter what he says'' Ordered Zeus. '' With pleasure'' said a very cold Artemis, before she flashed out in a silver flash.
Annabeth POV
When i had spotted Leo storming towards bunker 9, with tingles of fire sparking off him, i did the typical Annabeth move and followed him. One thing i can say about that is damn. For all his scruffiness and messing when the wood nymphs were teaching him the 'correct' way to run. He could move bloody fast. The moment he had set foot into the woods, he broke into a lethal run, darting around trees and avoiding roots left right and centre.
When he started getting away from me i had broke into a frantic run. Twigs hit me in the face and roots kept tripping me up each time this happened i got up and continued running towards him. I had lost sight of him ages ago and the only thing that kept me able to see where he was going were the white hot flames around him. It threatened to get dark soon, i knew if this happened i would be done for.
Just when i was about to call out his name, to tell him to stop, i broke through the thick forest and saw a magnificent sight. The argo II except it had been upgraded from like level ten to level ship had four sails each massive, this no doubt gave it a lot more speed in the air and on water. it had 20 ores, which appeared to be run robotically . It's 250 feet long with a celestial bronze hull, improving its armor massively although this lost a bit of i's stealth as celestial bronze often glowed in the dark, like familiar flaming dragon head of Festus was at the top of the mast.
The ships weapons were three repeating crossbows that could fire explosive bolts imperial gold, powerful enough to blast through concrete. Its oars could change into spears if needed, and of course festus could breathe fire.
I was blown out of my analysis when i was blown off my feet, literally when the massive ship began to take off, via four engines that sucked in air the blew it out fifty more powerful than when the air first entered. Putting on my invisible hat i leaped on to the deck before the ship could get out off my range. Thats when i saw the controls.
The controls were a keyboard monitor that looked one hundred years too advanced for our age. , aviation controls of a learjet, dubstep soundboard, and Wii remotes and sensor which control different aspects of the ship.
It had been a while since i had got on the ship, the refilling plates of food helped me stay alive as i stayed hidden on Leos ship. A month had passed a we where now at some strange islands. On the ground below us i saw a black portal open, i had no time to see what it really was however as the Argo II had stopped and was now heading towards it.
A/n This was more of a filler chapter so we can get to the action. Also i need some more features for the argo II taking in mind that it will be Percys group of hunters base. Anyway stay tuned for more!
