LAST TIME... Bringing his focus back onto the battle. Percy raised riptide in midair bringing it down on to the minotaur as he came down. The said beast raised his massive two handed axe in hope to stop Percy's attack, however when Percy's new blade met the minotaur axe all it did was slice it right down to the hilt. rolling between the beasts legs Percy with the speed of Hermes turned around a sliced the minotaur's head off before it could even twitch

PRESENT TIME

After i sliced the minotaurs head it evaporated into dust, leaving behind its' two handed axe. Looking up i made a gesture that said it's clear come on. After what felt like an age thanks to my ADHD, a massive bronze ship appeared from the clouds. Landing near me i looked at the massive Argo II, I had to admit it looked pretty bad-ass. A middle part of the ship smoothly raised itself from the ground. My hunters came out one by one. Annabeth who was a General, just like me. Leo, a Commander. Alex, the all muscle son of Ares who was 15 and Clare, the girl who we rescued from a bunch of high harpys. They were both recruits at the moment.

When Alex saw the split battle axe the minotaur left behind he walked up to it. As soon as he touched it he was caught in the center of a piercing green light. When it faded the first thing i saw was that he had traditional spartan armor on. The next thing i saw was that he held a massive battle axe in his hand. It was 2 and a half meters long and was equal with his height. The shaft was made of imperial gold, it was blood red, near the top of the axe the shaft expanded a tiny bit outward, the blade was made of imperial gold as well and was curved the middle part of it connected to the shaft but the axe blade kept curving up. Tiny blades sprouted out from the shaft in a circular way . In the middle of one of these was a glowing orb of gold light. blue crystals were embedded in the blade and shaft. The bottom part of the blade had a curved blade jutting out from it. It looked heavy...

Alex expertly spun it around in his hand, as if he had trained with it his whole life '' I name this axe obsidian '' Alex bellowed.

It had been a while before the discovery of Alex's new weapon and everyone was still buzzing about it, '' Damn that Axe looks way more badass than riptide'' ''if you say so'' i replied. Me and Angels bond had become so strong that even i could reply to her using my mind.

Clare was still trying to lift Obsidian off the deck of the argo while Annabeth was still studying it like a mad scientist.'' Percy put riptide next to Obsidian for a moment'' Annabeth ordered. Deciding it was better to follow what she said, I willed riptide into my hands with a blue flash before setting it down next to Alex's new weapon.

The moment I put it down the two weapons edged closer together all by themselves before they started floating in mid air circling each other. '' Thats so awesome'' boomed Alex '' I totally agree '' voiced Ashley '' WE'RE APPROACHING CALYPSO's ISLAND'' screamed Leo. Just then Sirens came off all around the ship. We all rushed down to the front of the ship to see a sight that terrified me.

ARTEMIS POV

After i received my mission i had set off with gusto to my chariot. Summoning my Hunters i briefed them on the mission, keeping the person we were hunting down a secret as i didn't want Thalia to have a fit.

We were now on our way there in separate chariots, it had been a long journey but i could practically smell Percy so i knew my and my hunters were close. I saw a huge bulking ship up a head. I realised it was the argo II, which must mean that the Pesky son of my brother Leo, was going to get Calypso.

I knew i had to stop him as this would cause unwanted attention on the Olympians. Taking out my bow i aimed above and fired a sonic arrow at the ships engines. Before the arrow even reached the target, a hole opened up in the argo before fire spewed out of. The fire Incinerated the arrow instantly.

An alarm must have been set off because the next moment five faces peeped down and stared at us. The gryphon that Percy had tamed the took off into the air above the five heads. '' FIRE, aim for that gryphon flying above them'' My hunters aim and unloaded, apart from thalia who just started at Percy and then me, i could see the betrayal written all over her face, but i had to focus on killing the overgrown bird as Percy would be easier to bring in without a hulking bird defending him.

The 20 arrows sped toward the unaware animal. Hitting her all over her body before she even move. ''AHHHHHAHAHAHAH'' ''AHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHH'' the bird screeched. I notched arrow and aimed for the disturbing birds mouth. In the blink of an eye the arrow entered it's throat, exploding once inside.

PERCY POV

Angel crashed to the deck of the ship with a thunderous BANG. i rushed to her, only to see her start dissolving '' here's one last gift to you percy, thank you for your company'' '' you can't die, what will i do without you!'' i shouted in her mind. '' it was always meant to be this way my friend don't cry stay strong for me''. The rest of her body burst in a flash of purple. My vision turned red in pain as my back felt like is was being ripped apart. I heard gasps from behind me as annabeth said'' Percy you have wings!''.
