Last Time...

Angel crashed to the deck of the ship with a thunderous BANG. i rushed to her, only to see her start dissolving '' here's one last gift to you Percy, thank you for your company'' '' you can't die, what will i do without you!'' i shouted in her mind. '' it was always meant to be this way my friend don't cry stay strong for me''. The rest of her body burst in a flash of purple. My vision turned red in pain as my back felt like is was being ripped apart. I heard gasps from behind me as Annabeth said'' Percy you have wings!''.

PERCY POV

I heard Annabeth say'' Percy you have wings" before my back exploded in pain, I heard someone shout'' GET US OUT OF HERE, LEO'' before it all went black.
I woke up on a beautiful sandy beach that was strangely familiar. Looking up i took in the sights the beach...no Island had to offer. It was breath taking. Ogygia i realized.''Percy you're awake'' yelled Annabeth as she came charging at me. When she reached me she gave him the biggest bear-hug ever, bigger than Tyson's,'' Can't breath'' i crocked. She let go off me before helping me up. She the proceeded to throw me into the water using a modified version of the judo throw Tomoe Nage.

I got some pretty good air time before i crashed into the water, which instantly revitalized me. It un-numbed all my pains and i also discovered some new joints. I flexed them and felt a huge rise in my position in the water. Wings my mind screamed at me. I smiled, before i realized how i got them... Before i smiled again as i recalled what Angel told me before she went. I willed my self out of the water.

I burst through the surface of the water and into the unfamiliar air. When i reached the top i flapped my wings and... failed i fell like a stone into the rather welcoming water. My head burst through the water to hear Annabeth on all fours laughing her head of at me. I smirked at her before i willed the water around me to make a hand and snatch her up. She squirmed and wiggled as she tried to escape before i dropped her into the water. I made a bubble for her head and willed the water around her to support her. ''am going to kill you'' she screamed at me before i stuck my tongue out and made the water spit her out onto the beach making sure she had a soft landing and drying her clothes as she it would be three hours or so before she cooled off i made the decision to keep practicing.

After two hours i could stay in the air , it felt good but i couldn't do it for longer than 5 minutes without falling face first into the water, i decided to keep going till i could do more than levitate.

RIDDEN POV

Running, oh how much I hated running. At least this time i was doing the chasing and not being hunted. Who you was i chasing you ask? Well the answer to that would be Mrs Dodds Aka Miss Ugly. Chaos sent me to her because she had some 'cool story's that she could tell me' his words not mine. I was now chasing he through some forest that blackjack had dropped me off at.

One thing i could say though was damn she was fast, i was only able to keep tracking her because she wasn't the most quiet of runners, she was so loud even Percy makes less noise, and that no easy feat for anyone to do. I had appeared at a clearing that was ironically just perfect for a duel. ''Why do you chase me demigod'', '' I thought you had some KFC'' i casually replied. '' You joke do nothing but test my patience, now answer me why do you chase me''. ''Can we skip this whole catch-up this and just get to fighting''.

The furious fury growled before charging at me. Before she could hit me though i had struck my arms out with the palms facing downwards and propelled my self upwards - out of the fury's reach. As i dropped i brought forth my armor it looked like the assassins creed amour except it was pure black, the black you see when you close your eyes. I then willed my sword into my hands in a dark flash of purple. My fingers brushed against metal; I pulled the sword from its sheath and held it out in front of me. The silver blade glinted beneath the light, and I turned it over in my hand, marveling at the skills of the swordmaker. The leather hilt fitted into my hand easily, like it had been custom designed for me only. I traced the carvings on the hilt, my fingers lingering over the moonstones and diamonds that had been melded into it, white gems nestled against black. As I held it, the blade changed; it transformed from silver to imperial gold, then to Celestial bronze , and followed almost instantly by steel. I felt the power surge through my arm, and I felt unstoppable with this unique weapon.

I turned my head towards Mrs Dodds, now directly behind me. Mrs Dodds registers my new equipment with angry surprise. I smirk at her before i throw an massive fireball at her. She dodges with uncanny skill before coming up to me in a blur, before i could react she hit me with a sicking blow to my rib area, My amour took most of the damage but it still hurt like Hell. Before the fury could sneak in an other blow i leaped back with the wind aiding me. Deciding it was time for me kick things up a notch i set my sword on fire, before hurling it at the creature
with a vicious overhand motion. My aim was true and my blade sunk into her flesh his on its way through her body.
