Elements Chapter 11
Last time
I turned my head towards Mrs Dodds, now directly behind me. Mrs Dodds registers my new equipment with angry surprise. I smirk at her before i throw an massive fireball at her. She dodges with uncanny skill before coming up to me in a blur, before i could react she hit me with a sicking blow to my rib area, My amour took most of the damage but it still hurt like Hell. Before the fury could sneak in an other blow i leaped back with the wind aiding me. Deciding it was time for me kick things up a notch i set my sword on fire, before hurling it at the creature
with a vicious overhand motion. My aim was true and my blade sunk into her flesh on its way through her body.
Ridden POV
The dying Fury, Alecto hissed ''I'll come back for you demigod, you'll never find the demigods that I have captured'' I couldn't reply before the hideous monster exploding in a show of gold dust. Panting I fell to one knee, trying to reclaim my breath, my mind went into overdrive as I tried to figure out what she meant when she said I wouldn't find the lost demigods. Could they be what Chaos wanted me to find. At that exact moment i heard a ear-splitting scream, with out wasting a moment i rushed towards the sound, my feet practically flying over the ground as i pushed with everything i had to reach the scream.
It led me to a clearing and about a foot in front of me was a massive cage holding two demigods who looked terror stricken as a massive hellhound stood in front of them. When i say massive , i mean massive and instead of being pure black like normal it had pure white-almost glowing its leg was about nearly two times as big as me, and considering i was 5,10 that's pretty impressive. It raised its head as i can into the clearing, sniffing the air until it turned its head towards me, showing my its pure black eyes , they stuck out when compared to its white fur. It growled at me before lunched it's massive frame at me.
I had no time to dodge and it crushed straight into me. I went flying back, before my back slammed into a tree. Somehow the tree got smashed to pieces, sending me into the tree, which fortunately held. The moment i hit the ground i knew something was broken, i couldn't feel my left arm, lucky for me i was right handed, unlucky for me i could only summon fire out of my left arm, the now broken one. At least i could still rely on the air and earth.
The hellhound seem confused and looked at me as if to say ''Why are you still awake, puny demigod''. Grinding my teeth together i stood up reached for my sword, only to remember i had left it where it was when i had defeated Alecto. Something lit up in my mind, allowing me to sense where my sword was. It was almost as if the sword was part of me , as if part of essence had been put into it. I called out to it, almost immediately i felt it start to move to move towards my position, 10 i started to move towards the Hellhound 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, I leaped into the air my right hand out stretched 1. I felt something slam into my out stretched hand. But instead of the object hurting me, it did the complete opposite, it filled me with energy, sadly i didn't heal my left hand, but that didn't stop me from reaching back and slamming it into the still confused Hellhound.
I left a massive gash in its side, even though i had jumped to my highest, i was nowhere near its top half. The horrific beast let out a bellow that sent shivers down my spine. I landed on the ground, before i followed my instincts and raised my sword, no sooner had i raised it did i feel an impact on my magnificent sword. The Hellhound clamped it's teeth down on to my sword before ripping it out of my hand and hurling it into the woods.
Seeing that i was now weapon-less the hellhound seemed to slow down and start to smile, at least that's what it looked like. Getting an idea i rushed to its side and jumped, using the wind to assist me, i practically flew till i was head height with the monster. Wasting no time i summoned my sword to me, making it spin. I felt it move towards me, before it hit the hellhound, in front of me. My blade smashed into it's skull destroying the hound instantly or so i thought. The beast had enough strength to wipe its tail into me sending me flying into the air, i had time to whistle for black jack before it all went black.
3rd person POV
1 Week Later
Percy and the gang sat around a fire, waiting for Chaos to arrive, like Ridden Percy and his friends had been attack by overly large monsters, they had been sent here. To some island somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Chaos had said that the monsters that had attacked where called 2nd generation monsters and that the group had to power up if we wanted a chance to be able to defeat them.
