Here is the next installment of After Dance Academy.

They decided to have a scary movie marathon. They both knew that scary movies scared Tara to death, but they both wanted to have an excuse to cuddle, but they would never tell each other that.

Tara was in the kitchen making popcorn, but apparently she was taking a long time because soon, Christian came in and walked over to her hugging her from behind. All the while he was thinking, Please don't reject me, please. And she was thinking, Never ever, ever let go, please.

When she didn't shrug him off he was mentally cheering, because if he ever did that out loud and she heard, he would die of embarrassment.

"Come on, I'll go put the movie in," he whispered in her ear. The timer on the microwave dinged and Tara pulled it out of the microwave. "Okay," she whispered.

They walked back into the TV area, all the while with Christian's arm around Tara, and plopped down on the couch, a little closer than for "just friends."

They started with the movie Carrie. Every time something scary happened Tara jumped, screamed, and hid her face in Christian's chest. Heck, it wasn't even half of the movie before she was in his lap. They went through 2 movies and were a quarter of the way through the third when the power went out. Neither of them noticed but at some point during the night a storm started. It was strong with heavy rain and winds that made trees look like thin sheets of paper.

"What should we do now?" questioned Christian.

"I have absolutely no clue," Tara said.

"Well, how about a card game," he asked.

"Very unlike you, but sure. Sounds like fun. I think I have some cards in my room somewhere. I'll be right back."

She got up and went down the hall to her room. She came back a minute later with a red package of cards.

"What game do you want to play," Tara asked.

"Ummm, how about Go Fish."

Tara dealt the cards and they played for hours.

They finally decided to go to bed when Christian looked at Tara and realized that she was literally about to pass out from exhaustion. Tara went to her room and Christian slept on the couch (due to the fact that it was still storming exceptionally hard outside, they both decided it best for him not to brave the storm in order to get to his house).

A few hours later Christian woke up to loud gasping breaths, the sounds of thrashing, and some screaming. He quickly got up and ran towards the sounds. He followed them all the way towards Tara's room. He went in, only to find her squirming around on the bed having a nightmare. He shook her awake and in minutes he had his arms around her and she was crying into his chest.

"Are you okay," he asked.

"Yeah, just a nightmare," she answered.

"I could tell, do you want to tell me about it," he tried to relieve the tension, but it didn't work so he decided it best that he try to comfort her instead.

"It was just about all of those scary movies we watched tonight," she admitted.

"They aren't real, Tara. You have nothing to be afraid of. Do you want to try to go to sleep again?"

She nodded. He started to get up, but was stopped by her hand on his wrist.

"Can you stay in here with me," she asked sheepishly.

"Of course."

He slowly crawled into the bed next to her and put his arms around her. She gently laid her head on his chest and they fell into a peaceful dreamless sleep while holding each other tightly.
