AN: Okay I know long hiatus again. But here it is Chapter 6.

A few days had passed before Ashe had woken up. The sun had just began to peek through the windows, the start of a new day and a new chapter in her life. Twisting her head slightly to the side the queen looks over to the dying embers of the fire. In a chair was her king, slumped and looking uncomfortable. She began to wonder why he hadn't been sleeping with her when a pang of guilt hit her and she clutched her stomach. Tears welled in her eyes as memories start to flood back, gripping the blankets tightly with her hands she turns on her side away from Tryndamere. For one reason or another the king woke up right then, noticing that she had moved from her original position he practically jumps up and dashes over. Coming to sit lightly on the bed next to her, looking down at her attempting to squeeze back her tears. "Tryn.. I..." Ashe hiccuped chewing her lip, while Tryndamere silently pulled her up to lean against him. She bit her lip, refusing to let herself cry in front of him. "Do you blame me for it..."

The king hesitated as he cast his eyes elsewhere. "Ashe what happened wasn't... No I don't.." He pulled her tighter, setting his chin softly on the top of her head. The queen stayed quiet for awhile, letting the steady beat of Tryndamere's heart calm her down before speaking again. "Do our people know what happened?" Tryndamere tilted her head up towards his and he looked deeply into her eyes. "No. We will say nothing of the matter." He knew she didn't want everyone to know, the people that were there to help save her.

Ashe pushed herself away from Tryndamere and stood up, going to stand in the window. She could see the people of Rakelstake had started to wake up and go about their daily tasks. Her reflection caught her eye in the window and she couldn't help but cringe. Her hair was a mess and even after all the rest she had gotten there were still dark circles under her eyes. With a sigh she turned back to her king, watching him sit helplessly on the bed. "I can't even look at myself right now. I don't know how you can.." She decided she desperately needed a bath and to brush out her hair. Maybe then she would feel a little bit more like herself.

After she had cleaned up the frost queen sat in front of the fire, running a comb through her hair. Tryndamere had gone to oversee training for awhile so for the time being she had peace. The burns were mostly healed by now but when Ashe ran her fingers across them it still sent a slightly burn to her core. Ever the small fire in front of her made her feel a little uneasy. After a few minutes had passed the door opened behind her, large footsteps made their way to her. "Tryn?" The queens voice was small as she turned her head to look at her king. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips and he scooped her up, hugging her body against his bare chest. "You know I can't stand it when you call me Tryn." He joked bringing her over to the bed and laying her down, drawing the blankets up to her chin.

"You look like you're freezing. I thought you were the Queen of Freljord. Freljord is a frozen tundra if you haven't noticed my dear. You should be wearing more than that little dress you seem to adore so much." Tryndamere laughed, sitting near Ashe's feet.

"Well hmph. It's to early to be in bed. It is barely the middle of the day! I wish to go out and train with everyone else." Her lower lip jutted out and her eyebrows knit together. Her facial expression a combination of anger and sadness. Tryndamere merely shook his head and pulled the blankets to cover her face. "Stop that nonsense. You cannot sleep for days and then expect to jump back into the swing of things. Perhaps tomorrow you can go out and shoot your bow." He stood up and walked to the window, looking down on the training yard in the distance. Ashe watched from behind before climbing out of bed and walking to the door.

Softly pulling on the door the queen slipped outside, making her way down the winding steps of the castle. Her barefeet helped make her escape quiet. As much as she loved Tryndamere she needed to either be alone or with a friend. "Should have brought shoes.." Ashe grumbled as she snuck out one of the hidden exits in the castle. Making her way towards where her and her best friend Nunu usually met. It wasn't long before she heard the thunderous footsteps of Nunu's yeti, Wilump. Turning to look at them she smiles brightly, closing the distance between them. Her toes had started to turn numb from the ice but it was nothing compared to the pain she had experienced days prior.

"Ashe where are your shoes?" Nunu frowned as Wilump picked the small queen up, in attempt to keep her from getting to cold. "Does it matter? I'm a frost queen, a little bit of ice on my feet shouldn't be a problem for me." She chuckled and reached up to give Wilump a pat on the head, wiggling out of his grasp to plant her feet firmly on the ground.

"Nunu I don't know what to do.. I feel awful. I can't look at myself and I can't stand seeing Tryndamere. All I can think is that he hates me for what happened. That he is blaming me. Maybe everything would be better off if I just left. Give up this silly dream of united Freljord and let Tryn handle everything.." Her eyes were cast to the ground and she just shook her head. She couldn't stand the thought of what she had put her beloved king through the past week. Even if none of it was her fault.

Nunu had to hold back his laughter, he couldn't believe how rediculous she sounded right now. "Ashe! What are you talking about! Tryndamere does not hate you, he doesn't blame any of this on you. If you left him all hell would break lose. He would search all of Runeterra until you were by his side again. He won't let you go and he won't let something that silly come between you two. Ashe I promise you. Things will get better. You have me, Wilump, Anivia, hell I am sure you even have Gragas. That old fat fool. Now get back to the castle before Tryndamere thinks you have gone missing again."

Wilump picked Nunu up and set him on his shoulders before scooping Ashe up into his giant furry arms. He made his way back to the palace, leaving her at the entrance she had come out of. "It'll be okay Ashe. Just give me and Wil here a yell if you need anything." Ashe sighed and gave the two a wave before heading back inside. When she got into the main entry of the palace Tryndamere was pacing, stopping as soon as he saw her.

"Ashe.. Where were you! You can't do this to us. You had us all worried." The words almost came out in a growl, bringing tears to Ashe's eyes. She didn't mean to upset anyone, especially her king. "I'm sorry.. I just didn't feel like you wanted me around.." She choked on the words and started to head towards the stairs. Tryndamere grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him, hugging her small body tightly against his chest. "Stop this. Have you forgotten so quickly about who truly loves you?" He questioned, looking down into her eyes.
